i've heard afew of her songs. she did the 2 theme songs to Final Fantasy X-2, namely 1000 no kotoba and Real Emotion

1000 no kotoba is a very touching song that i really love. it was my fav song for quite awhile actually :)

... yeah i have heard of her, actually love her single 'Butterfly' and have downloaded a her session cd's but i dunno... i dont like much else from her not my sort of music... i also don't think she is amazingly hot as some people think she is... she's hot but their is something about her that does give her that extra 'hotness' i guess

..but i never knew she broke into the US market.. they never do anything in the aussie market though :(

the only thing you hear in the aussie market is US artists and AUS artists with the occasional British artist.

What did ya'll think about the 12 weeks, 12 singles thing. I love it when artists put an extra something for their fans. She sounds great on all of them, at least to me. I would love for her to take a break after this but I want more Kuu! Can't wait for the Get It On PV!!!

Well I heard some of her songs recently on MTV and I must say she has got a good voice. I particularly like the track, ''You'' and her other hip hop tracks like ''Hot Stuff'' and ''Candy.''

She can dance well too. Yup, she is also getting big in Japan. I once saw her live performance in MTV Japan Video Awards and man, she was pretty hot.

Hai! I agree with Danieldren. I second that thought about no asian music in Australia... U_U" Well... there is (I think) if you go to specially marked asian CD shops but I never been in there 'cause I cant read Chinese characters anyways. ^^ They teach us about how Australia is such a multi-cultural country at school, yet they don't have many asian music. Any, if not many. Especially when 33% of Sydney's population is dominated by asian migrants or of asian decent. Hehe. I heard there were a least some in the US... Maybe Australia will follow US again =]

Kumi Koda is so popular in Japan and her lastest studio album sold over 1,460,000 copies, I was really impressed. Her songs are really upbeat and her personality is so bubbly and likeable. Her song "Freaky" sounds pretty good, She has great fashion sense too. I like what shes wearing in her "Freaky" MV the makeup, nails, everything.

^ Yeah she does wear a lot of revealing outfits but she has great fashion although I don't like those extremely long nails of hers. I think FREAKY is the third highest selling single for a female for 2007. I like her a lot. She has a new single and album coming out just so you guys know. The album is entitled Kingdom and the single is called anytime. I don't like anytime's DVD + CD cover as much as the CD only.

Uwaaaa! Thank you so much! Kumi-chan looks so pretty in these. Yeah I dun love her fashion too much esp her nails but she has a really nice personality and most of her songs are nice. Do you mean "Get Up & Move!!"? That song was in her Black Cherry album. But when what you wrote sounds like the lyrics to on her introduction for her album which is a full song thats going to be released on her new album "Kingdom". I'll upload the two just in case if thats what you want.

Romance rumors that circulated during the summer about SMAP leader Nakai Masahiro (35) and "ero-kakkoii" pop singer Koda Kumi (25) are true after all. Today's issue of the weekly women's magazine "Josei Seven" includes photos of the couple at Nakai's plush Tokyo apartment, which he moved into just in October. The photos were taken on December 5, after the couple had both appeared on a Fuji TV music show. Koda was a guest on the Fuji show "Utaban", co-hosted by Nakai and comedian Ishibashi Takaaki, in late September and they both tried to laugh off the rumors. But with SMAP being the kings of the J-pop world and Koda being the top-selling artist of the last few years, the media are now referring to them as a "chou biggu kappuru" (super big couple). And with Nakai in the role as emcee for the female Red Team at this year's Kohaku Uta Gassen on New Year's Eve, he will have to introduce his own girlfriend on stage for the most widely viewed show of the year. The Japanese subforum is so quite! HELLLLLO!! ANY KODA FANS?! Well I'm not sure if you guys have heard about the incident but avex is going to stop promoting her new album "Kingdom" and visee (cosmetic brand) removed her from their ads (at least from their website).

I feel so bad for Kumi because I thought all of this was not necessary. If you guys are wondering what happen well in a radio station koda stated she wants to have kids before she hits 35 because she said when women reach 35 their stuff goes bad. Her saying that cause all of that to happen which I really don't find such a big of a deal. I mean I checked Koda's official website and like the layout has been removed. I feel so bad for ku. :worry:

She has apologized on some TV and here is the clip if you guys want to watch it... that is if anybody is IN HERE!!! She teared up pretty bad but she wiped them so fast. :glug:

Oh I can very well say why...

Japan's Crown Princess recently gave birth to the ONLY boy in the next generation. At the age of 37. By saying as Kumi did, it implies that the Crown Princess' 'stuff' is already gone bad.. Implying, therefore, that the next successor of the Japanese throne is born from something bad.

Don't forget, we are talking about Japanese here. She's just plain stupid and highly ignorant and way too air-headed to have said that.

I'm really not very sorry for her.. :dry:

^ Oh that clears and makes a better reason why it caused Japan to be so.. mad at her. She did say she needs to be considerate of others when she says things (I don't underestand Japanese but I read about it somewhere) in the video and it does seem like she is sorry. I hope everyone would get over this later. Man so many bad things happened this year. Ayumi goes death in her left ear, Edison and the scandal, and now this. :worry:
