 i just saw their music video of "Red Hot" from their current new cd. they remind me of the american band Simple Plan. i dunno why but i just have this feeling this band may be one of my favorites. SO anyone heard of them before? any fans?

ellegarden, rocks. i introduced them to one of my friends and she was saying "OH MY GOD! IS THIS WHERE THE SINGER OF BLINK-182 WENT?!" it was funny.
But i definitely am in love with Stereoman right now.

hahaha...i remember how you said they sounded SO WHITE...and its soooo true haha. i liked their songs...
i think they're like the 'oddballs' in the japanese music industry. their music IS really american...and it makes them so special. the songs you showed me were really good. maybe i'll check more of their songs out.

ELLEGARDEN!!!!! I think they sound a lot like Blink182! The lead vocalists' english is pretty good! However, I prefer it when he sings in Japanese! Not too sure why ^--^"
I got addicted to them when I first heard Hana (flower). Does anyone know if they've done other slower songs like Hana? I really loooooooove Takeshi's vocals when he sings ballad type songs. His voice is just erm... smexy?! <3
zhy378: lol, you posted up my fave pic of them! I love the expressions on their faces and all their teeth haha!

they played in the city closest to me once but I A) didn't know and B) wouldn't have been allowed into the club where they were performing. It made me sad. But then I heard that they were releasing one of their albums as an American release which made it better.

I LOVE ELLEGARDEN! They're my super guilty pleasure, I don't really like American music, but I find myself so utterly addicted to their music.
Hosomi Takeshi really does sound like Tom Delonge from Blink182 which kind of kills me, but their music is just so addictive. He only sounds like him when he sings in English though, his sound in Japanese is totally different, and is actually what I fell in love with at first. I didn't like their English songs at all at first, but the more I listened to them, the more I got used to it and started liking them.
I was so heartbroken when I heard about their American tour, I would have loved to see them, but I'm in Canada :(
Their latest single "Salamander" is just awesome :3 Right now I'm really fond of "Hana" too, if you're looking for slower songs like it, I think "Can You Feel Like I Do" is sort of like it, maybe "Yubiwa" and "Lonesome," the b-sides of the "Space Sonic" single are also more mellow vocally, but none of which I think are as soft as "Hana," which I think is special, which is why I love it so much xD

*sigh* I just got into them like a month ago and i can't find any of their stuff anywhere.
Anyways, they're one of my favorite J-punkrock bands. They actually toured with Sum 41 i think? I read somewhere that Sum 41 was one of their influences. Maybe if was someone else.
