I haven't been around but I'm procrastinating and I see talk about Shoot Dori. Which is the best show in the world ever ever! XD

Jess - Basically, they got a group of 7-8 year olds together and made them a football team. Kim Jong Gook was the permanent coach, Junjin has since taken over. Koyote's Jong Min is the assistant coach. And Lee Yundoo is the team manager.

They tend to lose :oops: But they're the cutest things in the world ever. Seung Jun is the team captain and the goalkeeper~ he's such a big star in Korea now. And he's such a good filial little boy. He waited till after the match to cry when they lost 21-0 in one of their first matches. I recently watched them lose 11-0 though. >< But I swear they've improved! It's just that they keep on playing teams that are really real good. :sweat:

It's a shame the Dutch kids went to Korea instead of them going to the Netherlands for Sinny. =(

Even if you've only just started watching because of Jinnie, make sure you get Jong Gook's last episodes too! Seeing Jong Gook tear when having to say goodbye was heartbreaking. Sungwoo kept asking him how many nights he had to sleep until Jong Gook would come back. :depresse: But the other moments were adorable. Like at the recording studio <3

Plus the kids were mascots at the SKorea-Angola match. You have to see what Sungwoo was doing during the Korean national anthem :sweat:


Teresa, the Dutch kids were just really really bad ahaha :X Did you see that 6 year old girl pick up the ball and run with it halfway down the pitch? :laughing: Taesoo was just like o__O and then Sungwoo was trying to reason with her. :roll:

I'm not sure where their Yundoo nuna has been in the past 2 episodes actually. I hope she didn't leave when Jong Gook did >< She basically helps out with looking after the kids, and the guys and guest coaches do the training. It's all the same thing really, just the name of their positions.


Meli - yay, download them all! They're worth the HD space ._. I agree with you. Hyunwoo is sososoo cute but such a trouble maker and so clingy XD Have you fallen in love with Seung Joon yet? He's such a darling <3


edit: I just finished watching yesterday's episode :roll: My tummy hurts from laughing so much ahahhahaa~ the team from the Netherlands are so much fun to watch! --> That girl stops to pick up the ball more than once?! Is it just me or did she stand with her hands on her hips as though the ref shouldn't have stopped the game! LOL~ and the time two of them collided when taking a free kick, only for Sungwoo and Hyunwoo to do the same when they were trying to receive the ball ahahhaa.

about the new album omg, highway star!!!! i am completely taken by that song. it pwnzed me. it sounds like m-flo. the combination between the rappers (my junjin, eric oppa and andy) and ivy are amazing. I don't really like the some of the songs off the album, (please don't throw tomatoes at me) but this song is really really nice. it compensates for some filler songs in the album. I am quite happy though that junjin sings a lot more on this jib. isn't his oh-so-manly voice amazing?? <333

omo! their 8th jib photoshoot was HOT! :drool: of course they can't help but fool around during the shoot because they're such big kids at heart :D i like almost all the tracks, except for a few fast tempo ones which will take some time to grow on me. my favorite track so far is Once in a Lifetme and Midnight Girl. i felt like the latter was directed at me :D :shy: when i was listening to the sample on repeat, that song stuck out from the rest because of sungie's chorus :love:

We finally got a confirmation on the price that we will be paying for the cds! It's $25. The price actually alright, I remembered I paid even more for Rain's concert dvd.. nearly 70 bucks I think. Now I come to think of it, maybe I was too hasty in that decision to buy. I should have bought from Yesasia instead, it's even cheaper. ^^;;

Jess: Yup, ogle at Eric.. I did too. :D That's my first time watching him act in a movie too, other than those Banjun dramas and I must say he's a pretty good actor. :wink2:

so... it was a very fun concert, nae sarang Minwoo is uber cute... (but i've been telling myself everytime, his cuteness is sometimes too much! hehehe...)
and did i say he was half naked for more than 10 minutes?!?! (i actually dunno the exact length, but it was very very long.... hehehehe....) he was so cute and he did the song from Lee JunKi's popular CF... but changing the lyrics... and he did aegyo for so many times!! hehehe.. sooo cute!!~
by now you guys probably have seen pictures from the concert.... and oggled at every one. hehehe...

i gotta say, Eric is soooo handsome! he's just ok for me, but after seeing him upclose, whoah... he's handsome! and not [i]moreno[/b] at all (cos i always had this impression that he's [i]moreno[/b]-- it's a Filipino word for someone who has beautiful tan skin...).... but he's a bit weak, he didn't perform a solo.. he did a duet thing with Andy.... in english! really surprised me, but i can't understand most of what he's saying cos his mic was so bad. x.x

Andy tried to put up a cool face all throughout the night, trying not to show his innocent smiles and cute acts... but eventually, he did smile and reached out for the crowd towards the end of their encore...

JunJin was glowing... and those muscles!!! whoah..... hehehehe.... one kid from Shoot Dori went to the concert (there could have been another one, but i'm not so sure...) and JunJin always threw stuff to him, like little bears and water... and this cute guy kept on catching it for the kid, fighting it over with the fans.... which was very very nice... ^^ Junjin sang a difficult song, and he's very impressive!!!! ^^

DongWan was rawkin the house! Soooo cool!!! he sang a rock song, in english!!!~ I dunno the song, but Meli Unni says it's Burn by Rage Against the Machine.... He was soooooo [i]astig[/b].... (cool), specially when he did the shout.... ^^

HyeSung has always looked a flower boy to me, but not anymore! hehehehe... he's got stubbles and he's sooooo cute, even laughing a bit when he tried to "flirt" with the dancers while singing Livin La Vida Loca! ^^

Weeee, I just got my copy of the cd today!!! :excited: I'm listening to it right now. I feel that the album is by far the best Shinhwa album yet! All the tracks are so nice!!! My favourites are tracks 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 12.

Haha, I've watched that Sungie's Ricky Martin performance too. He's cute when he grinned after the girls tore off his shirt. :happy: I thought Livin' Vida Loca was a weird song pick to perform too. Jess--> from what I've read, the sound system for the 2 seoul concerts was pretty average. and from watching the fancams, it did seem quite bad. there were times you could hardly hear the boys. and yes, Minu's earpiece wasn't working properly during his Why perf with WanSung. He kept having to fiddle with the earpiece pack and was signalling to stage crew that he couldn't hear the music. :oops:

^it's a bit impossible to catch all the members, like running around after getting one signed... cos the venues are not near each other. so, i think they want the fans to support SHINHWA and not just a member.... right?

With the concept &quot;6 Members 6 Places!&quot;, the places are decided through games before the event.

Eric, quiet but charming.

Shinhwa's leader Eric arrived Seosuwan Sinnara to meet fans today in the afternoon. Eric who was wearing a pair of sun glasses and casual clothes, signed for 200 fans. Fans who queued up on the road in front of the record store said to Eric, &quot;Take off the sun glasses!&quot; in kidding tone, showing excited expression on face. Fan who was in wheel chair and wore orange raincoat also caught a lot of attention from people around.

Junjin, smiled to fans who were noisy.

ShoortDori Coach Junjin held his fan signing event in DongDaeMun Homeplus record store. Junjin shaked hand with fans in queue, while signing for them, smiling. Well, i went to the Gwanghamun Kyobo store, and it was where HyeSung was... (anybody here Hyesung's wifey?)

I didn't know that you have to buy the CD from Hottracks in the morning just to get the numbers for the queue.. and they'd only let 200 people get HyeSung's signature... so.... i just waited and saw a glimpse of HyeSung and then left. it's hard doing ballerina tiptoes competing with tall highschoolers after a long day's stroll... hehehehe... :D

while on queue, the fans were calling each other up, checking out and guessing who might come to Gwanghamun... and yes, though we don't wanna hear it, there are individual fans.... they went, "what?! ____ might be the one here? I'm going..... " and i wished they really did so i can just get their place.... any Shinhwa member don't deserve to be treated so badly. x.x

anyway.... the girl coordinator was so strict, and even when i said i was a foreigner, and some people are willing to help me, she says no. oh well...

I love the chereography to Weak Man. Even though it's a bit messy when they performed live, but I think it's cute especially the part when they spilt into groups to dance. It reminded me of one performance Minu did with Jinnie. They also split dancing the parts.

I love the OIAL perf too!! It's so beautiful. I like the idea that the fans took part in this. The perf is so grand. ^^

i only watched 2 of their comeback (mnet and music core). when they performed Your Man for the latter, it seemed kind of messy because so many of them are dancing so closely together in a smaller stage. i was afraid that they'd trip over each other :sweat: other than that, i enjoyed their performances. it has been a while since i watched them dance so vigorously. i find Jinnie's exposed forehead to be sexy, but when it's covered he looked cuter :tongue: sungie's voice really stood out during his performance on Music Core for Your Man. his voice was so loud compared to the others :D

Shinhwa, on the 19th, opened a Character Shop on the open market G-Market.

This past April, they opened a Brand Shop, but this time, through the Character Shop, they plan to sell items related to Shinhwa.

Shinhwa had a special event for this opening occasion. The clothes that they wore for their 7th jib, they have specially put up for sale. Starting from the 19th to the end of June, all the sales that come from this event will go to the advertised 'Good Neighbors' cause, helping to build classrooms.

Shinhwa said, We wanted to make a character shop for fans that was also doing good deeds. Even though it is a small contribution, we hope that it will make a big difference, and we hope you will all love the Shinhwa Character Shop.

Recently, Shinhwa released their first single in Japan on the 14th, which landed as the 14th place on the Oricon Chart, while they are gaining more popularity in Japan.

Oh I dont know if anyone else saw this I was looking to catch up with Shinhwa and DLed Shinhwa - Interview on Fuji TV Show Music Ranking (Sakigake) (2006-06-15) and it was actually quite cute! I actually had no idea the boys released a Japanese album! I thought it was quite funny how in the opening they showed how they "katakata-nized" their names and Minwoo became "Miwu" lol Also I had no idea Dongwan spoke Japanese Fluently! When Hyesung spoke some japanese he sounded like he spoke Korean I had no idea what he was saying :tongue: Ohh and apparently Andy likes Sushi! (takes a mental note to learn how to cook sushi :shifty: ) I also think that Eric has yet to keep his new years resolution to become a non smoker :oops: Poor andy looked really uncomfortable sitting there by the end of the interview though! Popular masculin group SHINHWA will be back on KBS 2TV's HAPPY SUNDAY's top programme 'heroine6' to continue spreading their talents and charm.

On 1st July, Seoul KBS's TS-C studio, Shinhwa will be there to participate the recording with other artist.

On the recording day itself, bsides Shinhwa member LeeMinWoo who had participate the 'Heroine6' telerecording in Singapore, this is basically the first time all the Shinhwa member's participating.

On 29th June, the producer side said, I hope that each member have very good developement in various field, and at the same time. Each of the members will attempt to reveal their talent and skills to the public through the telerecording on that day.

On the other hand, Shinhwa will be helding a concert in Shanghai on July 8th as the first stop of their Asia Tour then to Thailand, Singapore, Japan and other countries as well.

After releasing their 8th albumState of Art and Once IN A LIFETIME¡± as their title song, Group Shinhwa will officially end their promotion activites at the end of July and They will begin their solo activites in August.

Shinhwa comapny GOODEMG has also draw up strategy for them to do activites as a Group for overseas and one solo activites. Once August start, it will be hard to see the 6 of them standing and appearing together as a group.

The only time you may get to see them will be music award cermony. Besides this, some of the members will be enlisted in the army so it might be 2 -3 years later before they release their 9th album.

Shinhwa member Junjin will be singing the OST for Eric's new drama SWEET GUY as the start of his solo battle.

Junjin plans to release his solo album in october and plans have been carried out. Before the release of his album, he will be taking part in the sweet guy Ost as a form of test and to show off his singing vocals. He will singing as a solo singer and the song will be release in September together with the drama.

It is the first time Junjin will be meeting the fans with his first solo song. GOOD Sweet Guy Ost will be compose by us. Because it stars Eric and to show our support, the members and other stars in our company has agree to take part. Besides Junjin is preparing for his solo album and this is a good chance for him to prastice.

Apart from Junjin prasticing hard on his vocals, Eric has contribute too. Since 2004, Eric has written 2 songs for Junjin as a present to him should he release a solo album. So it is possible the Junjin will be singing the song Eric wrote for him as the Sweet Guy Ost.

Good Currently, it has not decided what songs will be include in the OST but it will be good chance for Junjin to take part in the OST, we are still discussing so nothing has been confirm.

The date is not confirmed by GoodEnter yet but the date was mentioned over and over in their news, so I'm thinking maybe the date's more/less confirmed? Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part..keke.

Kim Dongwan Falls Off Stage and Dislocates Shoulder

Shinhwa's Kim Dongwan has fallen off the stage during a Busan concert and dislocated his right shoulder.

On the 15th at 7pm at the SHINHWA, 2006 STATE OF THE ART in Busan concert during a solo stage performance of 'To You', Kim Dongwan fell down from the stage and received an injury to his right shoulder.

While singing 'To You' Kim Dongwan walked out to the 'T' structured part of the main stage where his misplaced his step and fell from the stage and then again fell over the guard line slamming his shoulder against the floor. Kim Dongwan was then immediately taken to a nearby hospital. While Kim Dongwan was away getting treatment, Shinhwa had no choice but to continue performing 'Eusha Eusha', DJ DOC's 'Summer Story' and 'Only One' where Lee Minwoo and Jun Jin took turns in singing Kim Dongwan's parts. The fans cheered in hope and support of Kim Dongwans quick recovery by chanting We love you Kim Dongwan.

Despite strong restraint from staff and the members, eventually Kim Dongwan got a simple sling for his shoulder and went back on stage to sing Shinhwa's new Japanese single and received a great cheer from the fans.

Kim Dongwan before singing 'Sun in Our Hearts' with Shinhwa said, since its been such a long time since we've performed in Korea I was so excited but to have such an unexpected thing to happen I'm really upset and sorry to all you fans, but I will do my best and perform right till the end. Please watch over me. To this the fans began to chant 'Kim Dongwan!' and eventually Kim Dongwan shed tears.

Shinhwa's management Good EMG revealed, because his own will to get back on stage was so strong we told him to at least get a sling and go on stage but since he has not received a proper treatment and diagnosis of the injury, as soon as the concert finishes, he will be going back to hospital for a proper diagnosis.

This days concert is Shinhwa's 3rd concert of their Asia tour to celebrate their 8 years as Shinhwa. After this concert, Shinhwa will conclude all Korean activities in late July and depart for Japan for promotional activities of their first official album to be released in Japan in mid-August.

Yup, I'm still in the midst of watching the Busan concert. I think I have the same habit as you, Tess. I keep the vids I d/l, then I watch it at my own pace. I never rush myself to watch them because I want to savor watching them.. :D

Yeah, Wannie is sooo brave. I knew he would fall before watching the vid but I was still worried for him. I gasped when he fell. XD He's going to release an album? The only one I've heard would be releasing one is Jinnie. I'm anticipating that one too. ^_^
