Okay, I searched and nothing came up and the only thing under G was Gackt so i hope im safe this time...

Good Charlotte is one of my favorite bands in the whole world! They're songs and music is really catchy and if u read the lyrics, some songs are kinda funky and touching but funny too.
The twins Benji and Joel madden are so hot!
I don't see them are hardcore rock, i see them as pop/rock because there's not so much screaming and more music.
I'm just wondering if anyone else likes them other than me...

They are so pop-punk.. I don't understand why they have to act so goth? But anyway, I like them a lot too. Went to their concert with MxPx and New Found Glory and they were awesome! Their songs are good and catchy.

my friend is in love with joel. they're pretty cool.. i don't listen to american music anymore but their songs are good

what i thought was interesting was that they're gaining a lot of popularity in taiwan. weird seeing american pop/punk in taiwan

i like their songs, but i dont really like the way they act so bad and wear all this eye makeup and stuff. i admire them for their talent at creating wonderful songs, but im not too crazy about them posing as something they are not.

im sorry to say this to all their fans...but havent u noticed that their lyrics sound like they were written by a 3rd grader? like that song where the chorus goes "girls dont like guys, girls like cars and money..." i was listening to that on the radio...and the whole song sounds really stupid -___-

also they look like every other punk pop band....goth/dirty -___-

Nah... Good Charlotte's cool. :) Although i ain't their fan, i quite like their 'down-to-earth' sense of humour. :laughing: I remmeber that they were being interviewed and it just shows that some of their lyrics are good to improve a youngster's 'self-esteem' and being themselves instead of being someone they're not (something like that).

I Good Charlotte is ok...but haven't heard many of their songs...I think they're pretty cool, and yeah, there are worse bands than Good Charlotte =).

But we shouldn't not liking them just because of their clothes, make-up and "goth" stuff...

LOL yeah but it's kinda funny. i think they were just trying to make a point through being funny...as in not all girls will like u for u, just for your cash and vice versa.

Good Charlotte rocks!! :yeah: i love :love: their music videos, especically the ' boys and girls' one, though don't like that song, the first time i heard it on their cd, it sounds like a old 80s song, but still like the mv with the old people and joel :love: dancing.

I like Good Charlotte. Their songs are very real, especially with the lyrics. I just feel like with their words, they dont have a need to express themselves in flowing verse, just something that would easily get across what they're trying to say and i like that. a lot.

and i absolutely agree with cici! i liked their old image a lot better. they're still good with their music but i just dont like the look Benji sports now.

one song that stuck with me is 'The Little Things' i dont know, but that was what first made me pay attention to them, and i still love it.

and a last note, i dont think they're trying to be Blink 182. in my opinion, they're far better and are a lot less idiotic.

i liked boys & girls haha it wus pretty funnie and even their video had like dancing old grandmas haha and i liked the way the song sounded .. and i looove joel outta all of them .. but i think benji would look better without his spiky hair .. it's kinnda freaky .. (no offense to benji lovers)

i used to wonder what the title of the song that goes, "don't wanna be you..don't wanna be just like you.." was..then later, i figured out it was 'the anthem' by good charlotte from a dj on the radio. i checked out their music, liked it..and later, i slowly lost my interest in them. i donno.. boy bands are growing out of me. i use to like them when you still have that teenage energy in you, but now it's all gone.. you're getting more mature and you're not into those kinda stuffs anymore.. but you still have a collection of their albums of course, as a remembrance of the old days.. :blush:

i used to be a big fan. ive got their newest album which is... The Chronicles of Life and Death. only bad point about the CD is that they have an anti copy thing on the cd so we cant rip it onto the computer. they have really nice songs on the album... usually about hope. they arent like usual punk bands who sing about depression ect. they are amazing in concert.

I like GC :) They're a good band and I think some of their lyrics are pretty catchy...

My favorite song is "I Just Wanna Live". I think the MV is really funny...the GC band in veggy suits are great :)

I really liked how they toured with Relient K and Simple Plan...so mad that I missed them when they were around my area, drats!

I love Good Charlotte! They are my favourite band of all time. They are totally down to earth and I love their lyrics. I love Joel. :D I feel sorry for Joel and Benji though... they went through so much and it's so sad. :( Even though I love them to bits, i'm not exactly a hardcore fan... as in, I don't act or dress goth. People always think that when they hear about Good Charlotte fans... ugh.

I didn't know he had a girlfriend until a few days ago.. and she's a Japanese model/punk rock band singer. I believe she's Japanese-Brazilian. Born in Germany and was brought up in the US. I read in some sites that they aren't together but some say they are still together so I am not sure.

i think this album is a lot better than the last one because here they sound more mature and there are more variations in the music...so enjoy :-) :-)

i liked their second album alot, but then didn't cop the next one, i didnt think it was that good.

HEY GUYS! im a major fan of good charlotte. i was so happy when i found a good charlotte thread~ but jsut to let some people know, they arent being someone they arent because of their goth looks. they love rock music and arent pretending to be goth/punk; thats who they are. even though their music is very different from hardcore rock, they arent gonna change their look because people say their style is not supposed to be punk....anyway. anyone who wants to talk bout gc, im here ;)
