Jay On TVBS E-News: 19th September 2003, Friday

Hi all,

I just checked the Program Schedule for TVBS E-News and saw that they had a news feature on Jay's concert in Xinjiang. So, for those who can receive it, stay tuned for the repeat timings:

19th Sept: 2300 hr
20th Sept: 0530 hr
1200 nn

SCV Users: That's Channel 54.

You might like to stay tuned to AZIO E-News as well, they may show it, I'm not sure. :wink2:

i've seen it. i'm not sure if it's the same thing but this is what they showed on the programme.

* jL did a difficult breakdance move routines with a bball (well, he did spinned on the stage floor, i'm not even sure if it's him or one of his dancer)
* him playing the piano while sang rooftop duet with a lady singer (maybe it is landy herself, camera angle very far)
* he played a basketball game against an african american guy, did a steal and scored a 2 pointer.
* flying over the stage during 'dragon fist' (exactly like in taipei 'the one' concert - with that ugly red robe again) and
* singing 'you can hear' wearing a white shirt, tuck in and suspenders (he looks kawaii :love: ).

sorry for the bad descriptions. i can't read and speak mandarin so it's all visual n i still can't remember some of the song titles, only the tunes n melodies :blush:. basicly beijing concert is a reminiscent of taipei n hk 'the one concert'.

oh dear..i din saw it on Azio..but the TVBS news is abt Xinjiang concert and not beijing concert anyways.. what they showed is only Jay eating horse meat! but i think he din ate it coz his chinese horoscope is horse..so can't be eating his own "meat right.. ^^; and a small part on his rehearsal..he seems to be quite tired in singing nunchakus..actually he didn't sing at all..he just held onto his nunchukus...and the dancers dancing to the song..

thanks for the info, une_topaze! :) i don't get to see these programs on TV. anyway, the xinjiang concert was pretty short and only consisted a few of his songs, unlike the full-length concert in beijing. still sounds great though from your description. :happy: so, the white shirt and suspenders outfit was to "you can hear". he was probably playing the piano, too? *swoon* :love:

Oh man! Is this the AZIO version!??! I tried watching it for awhile, but grew bored after I didn't see Jay. The problem with AZIO is that they never tell you in advance who'd be on the news today. :cry: That lady singer is Landy. I would have loved to see the duet!

this part is right after the clips on the beijing concert. i was wondering what food is it that jL politely spit out onto his dinner napkin. horse meat, eh? i ate it once (my mom said it was chicken) and i almost vomited when she told me the truth. :oops:

he didn't play the piano for 'you can hear', he stood on the stage without backup dancers, he was alone. he looks so suave with the 'titanic' clothes :love:

Errrrrrrrrm, Jess, are you sure that it's on Azio? I think you might confuse the rest of the readers. I would believe that nunchakus was referring to TVBS, right?

At first I didn't understand why Jay was spitting out the meat, then after the clip the host of E-news was saying something about a person born in the year of the horse couldn't eat horse meat? sumthin like that.

sadly I missed the TVBS e-news une-topaze saw. To watch Jay sing Ni Ting de Tao in suspenders...hehehe

hoho, i can see that this thread is getting out of topic! but i can't resist adding that rats living in forest is actually clean because they eat only forest plants and nuts. do you guys remembered the first survivor series in Pulau Tiga, malaysia where one group actually resorted to eating forest rats because they needed meat badly?

i love deer meet, especially cooked in oyster sauce with lots of ginger... yummy yum! let's see, the only meats we can't actually eat is the rat and dragon meat right? maybe i'll create a topic on exotic food, may i mods?

nupengyou, it's tvbs. azio not yet show the beijing concert clip, maybe they're busy with their 10th anniversary???? i don't think it will be shown again because i watched it last friday.

oh, reffering to the same clip on the 'horse meat' incident, was jL doing magic tricks too? i get the part where one man broke stones with his karate chops but what did he (jay) said at the end of the magic show? he was replying to a reporter question and everyone laughed when he answered. anyone still remember?

it would be cool to have a thread on exotic foods, i don't understand the whole rat and dragon meat thing, where are you going to get dragon meat from?
