He reportedly has an IQ of 146. He is in Seoul University and it definitely needs some brains to be able to get into that Uni. ^^ He initially took Dentistry but resorted to a course involving multimedia thereafter.

Karen, apart from the Banjun drama that Char has uploaded, KJH has been in Orange drama, Nonstop 5 drama and also a J-dorama (a fact which we have just recently discovered :rolleyes: ).

KJH, of course, is still filming Goong now. I read that he doesn't plan to continue singing anymore (aww, such a waste) but there are also reports that he might develop his solo singing career in Japan.

As for UN, they have officially called it quits in September 2005. Their latest and last album (called Goodbye & Best) was released in January this year.

I think it's if they wear it on the right...the reasoning behind it was because if you're right handed, which most people are, and you wear the earring also on the right, they're both on the same side = homosexual. Even if the guy is left-handed, since most people are right handed, that became the standard.

:hmm: i don't think yullie is gay... he's just softer, coz after my many many KJH hunts, i've never read about him saying that before. i read an article in the chinese forum commenting that he wouldn't want girls to make the first move coz his father had brought him up that way, telling him its quite rude on the guy's part that the girl has to make the first move. he didn't give any implication that he's inclined the other way...

um... there's another one that says if he were to choose between Hyorin and Chaegyung, who would he choose. he picked Hyorin, coz she's the stronger, more matured one compared to Chaegyung. and KJH said he's silly by nature and would not want a girlfriend who's silly like him. so i guess KJH is just the softer kind, and waiting to be doted by a girl, that's all.

For the leg hair, it is unusual to see men without leg hair but there are still guys that have sparse hair in the legs. I guess we can't really see much of KJH's leg hair is because it is a far pic. Hmmm.... by looking at it for a little while there is some dark shadows in the lower leg near the calf that might be hair!

That supposed to be GF of his... I think I've seen her before in a drama. I just can't put my finger on it.

I also love KJH hair in Goong but the colored one. I still have to get used to the natural shade. From the pictures posted, I agree that this cut looks best on him. Based on the wrinkle in his eyes when he smiles, I guess he has what you call "smiling eyes".

ha... just realized why they named him JOHN hoon in japanese... the spelling in japanese is the same as john (romaji > jon)... my guess is that they didn't know how to spell it correctly in latin letters (and it seems they aren't using his surname, either)... that's probably why they assumed that "jon" was referring to an english name... :worry:

Some comments about the drama (Spoilers, so highlight it!):

I didn't think it was that great. The girl was emotionless the whole way through and I didn't think they clicked. I thought his character (Yul) in Goong was a lot better than the character in Fog City. Of course it was an only an hour drama but... I felt the events leading up to the climax was weak! Of course KJH looked really good throughout the whole drama.

The Chinese portal site Sohu.com said Thursday that Kim won 30.41 percent, or

Kim Jung-hoon to Release Album in Japan



Kim Jung-hoon, a member of the male duet UN who has made a successful debut as an actor on the MBC TV drama “Royal Palace,” will release his first solo album in Japan in October.

A person from Kim’s agency said August 4 that Kim has decided to release an album in Japan after receiving an offer from a Japanese record company, but will not perform the songs from the upcoming album in Korea. He also added that the album will contain mostly ballads targeting a wide audience that feature outstanding melodies.

Kim will visit Japan August 6 to prepare for the release of the album.

Kim Jung-hoon Gives Concert in Japan

Singer/actor Kim Jung-hoon has given a concert in Tokyo to mark the release of his first album targeting Japanese viewers.

The Sankei Sports reported October 30 that Kim, who has created a sensation in Japan for his role in the TV drama “Princess Hours,” released his debut album entitled “5 Stella Lights” on October 29.

Kim told the audience of some 1,000 people that he was surprised to see so many fans come to his concert. He sang three songs in Japanese and said he wants to be credited as a singer who is good at expressing his feelings.

Kim is preparing for a large-scale tour of Japan that will begin on December 12 at the Stella Hotel in Shinagawa, Tokyo and cover ten cities, including Osaka and Sapporo.

Meanwhile, ”Princess Hours” will premiere in Japan November 9 on Tokyo TV and will air every Thursday across Japan.

Singer/Actor Kim Jung Hoon (KJH), who played one of the main characters in MBC’s hit drama, ‘Goong’, has unsheathed a sword against new MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama series, ‘Goong S’.

Although KJH hasn’t formally signed the contract, he has verbally agreed to join the cast of ‘Witch Yoo-hee’, a rival drama to ‘Goong S’, and plans to start script rehearsals as soon as the 12th.

Since ‘Witch Yoo-hee’ will premiere on March 14, two rivaling dramas will overlap only two episodes, but the main characters from both dramas share common backgrounds as Ee Hoo (played by Seven) of ‘Goong S’ starts off as a Chinese restaurant delivery person and Chae Moo-ryong (played by Jae Hee) of ‘Witch Yoo-hee’ is an aspiring chef whose father is a famous Chinese chef.

Hwang Een-reh, the producer of ‘Goong’ and ‘Goong S’, and Jeon Ghee-sahng, the producer of ‘My Girl’ and ‘Witch Yoo-hee’, have already been rivals once before with their previous dramas, ‘Goong’ and ‘My Girl’, respectively.

Producer Hwang is said to be KJH’s mentor as ‘Goong’ has made KJH famous as an actor, but it looks like he will star in Hwang’s rival drama.

In ‘Witch Yoo-hee’, KJH plays Dr. Yoo Joon-hah, an ex-boyfriend of heroine Ma Yoo-hee, played by Hahn Gah-een. Not being able to overcome their differences in social class, Yoo leaves for America after breaking up with Ma, but, upon his return, tries to win her back.

‘Witch Yoo-hee’ is a fusion romantic comedy about Ma, a successful career woman with absolutely no talent in love, and Chae, a striving intern chef with a superb sense of taste, who tries to coach Ma how to succeed in love.

Yoo Joon Ha is a cold-hearted character who is capable of betraying his most precious love for success. Though he is an ambitious two-faced character, he is a bad guy in the sense that his weakness stems from his strong desire for success.

i want to see how well KJH plays the bad guy. it's kind of hard to imagine, with his baby face and gentle voice, keke~ he's suppose to appear as a prince at the beginning/opening of ep 1, if i didn't misunderstand the spoilers :rolleyes:
