Hey... I wanted to know how many people on JC.net were Hayao Miyazaki fans ( like me :-) )
Everyone knows about Hayao Miyazaki's awesome movies right? Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, etc.
You know the new movie that's out (in the US) called:
Howl's Moving Castle
Did anyone else really like it??? Or is it just me?
I thought that the movie was pretty good, but I know that it was based on a book...that was supposedly better because the movie left things out ( or something like that..)
The English version is ok...I prefer the japanese version...because Christian Bale, who did Howl's voice, and was also in Batman Begins (2005) used his "Batman" voice which was this weird really deep voice that sounded over dramatic
Howl was supposed to be a "wimpy wizard" according to the japanese trailers...but the voice didn't really match that of a "wimpy wizard"
So how do you guys feel about his movies?? especially Howl's Moving Castle? Are there any Hayao Miyazaki fans out there???
