It's better late than never! Yesterday, was the 4th episode already. :happy:

The new SET series starring 183 Club's Ming Dao, Sam Wang, Jacky Chu,Ehlo Huang and Sweety's Qiao Qiao.

The story is about 3 young, famous hairstylist Artz (Ming Dao) ,Richie (Sam) and Fernando (Jacky) )opened a new salon called Neo-Image and the opposite of their story is a little parlor which is owned by Xiao Bai's (Qiao Qiao) father thus starting the competition of the two salons. Who would win in the end? Stay tuned...:wink2:

I've watched the first three episodes from youtube.com . to be honest, i think this is just another typical settv idol drama... funny and there's love chemistry... not that bad a show but still far from the concept like bump off lovers.

it's very much like a typical Frog Prince, SET based idol drama.
but dammmmmn Sam Wang is like oh so hot in this. T_T
plus i adoreee Qiao Qiao so I'm watching this already.
it's kind of.. dull. and the plot is so easily predicted.

I hope this doesn't drag on forever like Frog Prince did.

i watched this before watching Ai Sha 17 and now this is very dull imo. :x

I saw the first part of the first episode and thought that it was the most pointless and a lame excuse to oogle the guys of 183 and that girl from 7 Flowers. (sorry if I offended anyone) But that's just how I see it.

OMG... its episode 5 tomorrow! I can hardly wait... Sam is soo hot in Magicians of Love, my friends and I were always like "OMG... hotness". Ming Dao is on top as always... but his hairstyle in Prince turns into Frog was better. But his character in Magicians of Love... hilarious XP :-) The look on his face when he say the wedding photos outside of the wedding shop! And his reaction when Sam spoke to him. I had a stomach ache from laughing afterwards...

oops. i am kinda slow eh. i just watch all the 12 episodes in 2 days. i can say that it's much similar like Prince who turns into a Frog, but i will not miss it. the plot is not bad, and i like those hairstyles. not bad. :D and gosh. shaowei and mingdao does look very hot in that show. their dressing is way too cool. :drool:

I agree that this series is very Frog Prince-like , but I think overall this is still a fun series to watch. Sam's haircut and style in this series makes him look super cool and cute. I kinda don't like the leading actress in this series. She's okay, but I think she doesn't have that natural, likable cuteness or 'funniness'. I guess it's because I watched the Frog Prince series and prefer the leading actress in that series over this one.

I've been wanting to get a haircut and change my hairstyle in awhile, perhaps this series will inspire me. :happy:

I agree.... Qiao En is way better than Qiao Qiao (I think thats her name...anyways shes the lead actress, and the half of sweety) Qiao Qiao isn't that good at acting, shes like unexperienced. I mean, when she cries, it fdoesnt make the audience want to cry, but when Qiao En cries, the audience can feel her sadness over Dang Ou XP
Theres this part in episode 3 where Qiao Qiao is laughing hard... it just looks... fake:dry:
but ending on a good note - TVB HAS BOUGHT THE RIGHTS TO AIR THIS SERIES!!!!:excited: :excited: :excited: It's probably oging to air after Frog Prince... :D

It's GREAT! I agree with lotusSan, as the story develops, it gets better and better. It's so interesting and exciting now, at episode 18. I am really hoping that Ya Si and Xiao Bei will be together at the end. I think they will, at least accordingly to the book....

I was blown away by Shao Wei's acting skills in episode 18...You can really feel the sadness when he breaks up with Xiao Bei just to make her happier. Haha.. But I was really happy when Xiao Bei And Ya Si both revealed their true feelings... It was soo sweet :tongue:

Siggh. 2 more episodes and it's bye bye AQMFS....

in the beginning the drama seems like every other drama....but then later on there are a bunch of things that start popping up that I've never seen before...overall I think that this drama is pretty good I think anyone who hasn't seen it, should

Yay! I just finished watching the whole series yesterday morning.. The ending was quite good... At least is was a happy ending :happy: But somehow I always find the tw drama serial programmes' endings a little rush... Hmm... Oh well.

I really liked this drama ^^
I think it's better than "Prince turns to frog", there are other things, but I think I'll always prefer something without an amnesia thing...

I liked their hairstyle, especially those of MingDao, ShaoWei and Qiao Qiao (whom I prefer over Qiao En, Qiao En was like always having tears in her eyes even when not crying, I mean, really too much...) ^^

The story is quite good I think, XiaoBei has a purpose in this drama, it's heading somewhere beside love (even though, it doesn't bother me if there is just love in some dramas, but here, it's just better): overcoming her lack of confidence, improve her cutting skills and become a famous hairdresser.
I also like the fact that here, there's not a "fate/destiny" thing. Like in "Prince", the thing with the ring... here even though there's always this water room, they just demystify it, like when XiaoBei helps the students to cross it, means that there is a path to follow, it's not magic. And the "Cherry" (/Cherish) thing, don't remember the name anymore, it's not destiny either, he chooses the person he wants ^^
For once, I didn't know which one I wanted XiaoBei to end with, it's so rare, I mean, usually, I have a preference, but this time no lol! I liked both Artz and Richie's characters ^^

MingDao's acting is very good ^^ compared to other young actors, even though there are actors whom I prefer over him, not because of their acting skills, just overall, I must recognize that his acting is way better than most of them.

ziai - yeaah! I was like O_o waoh! ShaoWei's acting was really good then, he has improved (even in "Prince", I thought at first that his acting wasn't very good, but it was getting better after few episodes) ^^ That is one scene that I've never seen elsewhere (*I mean breaking up to make the other one happier, yes, faking to be with someone else, yes, but like Richie, crying, like helpless, asking for Ke Lan's help that way, never, it was awesome ^^*)
But I think that ShaoWei's cantonese was better in the first episodes but later his pronunciation wasn't really good ^^"
By the way, when they spoke french in the first episode, for MingDao it's normal and quite ok ^^ but the other one, don't think he's french, it was so un-natural, weird accent...

Qiao Qiao was ok, not bad, not good. But so young O_o I think it's quite good already, she's only 17, going on her 18. She can improve ^^

I didn't know Ambrose was going to be in this drama haha! quite a surprise! even though I don't like him in particular lol!

I haven't watched one of these idol dramas for a long while (me being sick of 5566 and what nots).

I chanced on this while channel surfing. And well, it caught my attention cos it is so light hearted and all. I mean, after a long day, you just want something nice to entertain you.

Yes, I agree it has a simple storyline, but sometimes simplicity is good. At least it doesn't come across as a wanna be. In contrast to the constipated acting of other 5566 members, Shao wei is actually moving on to taking on his roles pretty well, and Mingdao steals the lime light from him at times but still he holds the fort well as a "senior".

I am quite amused at the Ya Si and Ya (whatever, I just had a brain freeze) thing. It's hilarious how MD switches between the two.

Yeah I finished it quite some time ago. It's a nice drama, although at the starting it's a little draggy & I kept comparing it to WZBQW :X Yeah but as the show progresses, it gets really exciting, especially with the love triangle of YaSi & XiaoBei & ErQi! GOSH I think ErQi is like superrrrrrrrrrrrr cool. I really wanted him as the protagonist! :D

Actually Mingdao's nice in there, I like the starting part where he acts really arrogant, saying "我对不美的事物没有印象" , or somethign like that. I just thought it was really cute, but somehow that catchphrase disappeared throughout the story until the last part O.O

Hahahas but I wonder why AQMFS doesn't have much nice quotes like WZBQW does. I always thought taiwanese dramas are best at creating those sweet & loveydovey phrases XD

LOL yeah. Not many dramas are worth purchasing, since most of the time people know the story too well even after watching it once only, & purchasing the vcds or dvds would be just a waste of money.

I bought Mr Fighter last month, & I didn't even get past the fifth disc cos it was waaaaaaay too boring, & now their showing it on television. @#%^&*(@! LOL oh welllllll.

Anyway, it's quite cool for 183 Club to produce a third album in a short span of two years, even though the first two were just soundtracks. I don't think even 5566 was that good.

The Shui Mi Gong was only set up for AQMFS... Sadly it doesnt exist anymore.. It is probably gone by now... And Yea, channel u cut alot off WZBQW.. Like the part where Jun Hao was describing Tian Yu to his co-workers... haha.. Lilian nai nai sure is cute, but my mum finds these scenes too 'extra'.. I dont know, she also didnt like the dramatic cooks in Guan Mei Yu Chun (WZBQW) and Tian Yu's mum.. haha. I find them funny though :-)

I thought WZBQW was worth purchasing and so far, I have watched it 3 times :rolleyes: ... haha.. It was interesting. Mr fighting, it gets better as it goes on, but still not as good as WZBQW and AQMFS... I loved the 183 club soundtracks! Gan Qing Xian, Mo Fa... And it's also amazing that they had a concert before even releasing an album... haha.

Ahhh the part when he was describing her was really sweet! It was like, ayeeee I don't know how to say it :X Aye? I think the hotel staff of Guan Mei Yu Cun & Tianyu's mummy really add flavour to the show. I think these characters are what differentiate taiwanese idol dramas from those korean ones, where they're all weepy dramas :X

Oh & you know in AWMFS, I like Chou Mei! I think she's really funny, the way she says she's followed blahblahblah to 18 cities XD

Honestly, I though Mingdao's hair was atrocious. I always though curly hairstyles were weird. But of course, everything looks nice on Jay ^^^^^^^
