[Guide] How to download from youtube

For those who wants to download videos on youtube (www.youtube.com) can try this:

You Tube Ripper (http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php)

When you go to the site, it will look like this-

After entering the link, click on Download .


Then the bottom of the page will load, and it will look like this

Click on http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/2686/untitled33oy.jpg and save it as something.flv


The video format will be flv, so you can either choose to play it with FLV players like Riva Flv Player or you could also convert it to other formats with Convertors like Cinemaforge.

You are supposed to right click and save the link below the Words "YOU TUBE VIDEO RIPPER'

Another better downloading site for Youtube and other sites such as Google Video here (http://javimoya.com/blog/download-videos).

Same method. Insert the URL and get the download link. Change the file extension to .flv after you've downloaded the file.

After that, you can convert the file into .wmv, .mpeg, .rm and others with Cinema Forge (http://www.download.com/CinemaForge/3000-2169_4-10410160.html).

to convert to mpeg (which plays on window media player) i used the riva flv encoder - you can download it for free here:

to convert the video to mpeg4 so it can play on your iPod, use Videora iPod Converter to convert your mpeg files to mpeg4. (http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/) All free!

Thanks so much ziai & peteryjk.I couldn't of done it without both of your technical advice,especially the renaming of the file to filename.flv.That was the part the confused me because it wouldn't play properly.^^
