Can you change settings to a Read Only File?

I recently downloaded an album and it is in Read Only format which means I cannot change the rename the files etc etc. The album is korean and I need to rename the files into the Korean Script because at the moment is all jibberish.

So is there a way of changing the read only part??

Go to your file, wherever it is.

Right click the file > Properties.
Somewhere on the bottom of that box that pops up, you see a 'Read-Only' option. Just uncheck that box.
