It started airing yesterday, Feb. 20. The only person I recognize in the drama is Angela Zhang. Angela plays two characters, they're twins but one has a split personality...so it's like three characters? lol

Synopsis
She was only 17 years old when she was brutally murdered. And, a trial by media led her suspected murderer to commit suicide. Now, her twin sister wants to find out the truth. Seventeen is when innocence lost.

wow this is reminding me of a couple of american dramas that have been surfacing lately.. it looks/sounds really good though (and the guys in the picture look adorable)
what intrigues me the most is that this seems to be a genre that hasn't really been done in asian dramas (taht i know of...)

i really wanna see this. i love her music...and the plot seems pretty interesting also. i saw her on the news after she filmed it, and she went so skinny cuz she was tired and stuff. she was probably about 85 lbs or something. pretty scary.

yea it's a bit confusing. From what i could gather.....photographer: you mean the little brother? he was taking pictures of the short haired twin(Xu YiJing). he's like in love with her. The website..yea it's a bit freaky. Here is a translation of what happened in the chatroom that I found.

"Okay, I managed to read a little bit of the chat on the online group. When the little brother went online, he saw people chatting about wanting to make a disgusting scene at school. Someone suggested messing around with the principal's daughters. The little bro asked what they what to do and he got a warning from the website because he was being protective. Then they said to rape one of the sisters and then killing her and have all her blood splashed around. The lil bro said they can not do that and he got another warning saying that he's not saying the right stuff. They kept on describing how they're going to kill the sister and the brother couldn't stand but to tell them to leave her online. He finally got his last warning and was banned from the online group. Now.....that's not all of it, just some of what I can read. Quite scary!!"

then in the end the little brother went to school, then someone bumped into him (they had a black spider on their backpack just like the chatroom). And when the little brother got up he picked up this metal thing with a cross skull on it. end of episode 1.

the short haired sister dies but it hasn;t happend yet...i think it will happen in later episodes?

the storyline is very intriguing. i love the suspense in the show. the story has a lot of cliffhangers which makes the watching experience more enjoyable.

In here yi jing also remember the conversation that she overheard, the conversation between yi cen and jia wei. Jia wei told yi cen that he does not, even a bit, like yi jing, then they both kissed.
Actually yi jing overheard them but pretend she didn’t hear it.
(yi cen went to find his mom, discovered that yi jing disappeared.)
The scene then followed to the one where yi jing and ke jie sitting in the train (lan ce)

There’s also a bit when ke jie was expelled and he went home. he went to the website wanted to find yi jing but then an hei gui shen said “it’s ur turn to help me now”
“ai hei gui shen: have u killed anyone? I want u to help me kill the two annoying sister.”
Ok peng: what are u trying to do to hsu yi jing?”

Then he received sms : “no matter where u are hiding in.. I still can found u, cong ke jie.”

are u refering to the scene that jia wei went to yang ren you and tried to stab him but he got stab instead? i think that's because he wanna proof his love to yi cen... that what he said though.. but the freaky part is when yi cen went to his house and his computer suddenly opened up... i think he is part of the website group.. since he is really smart, maybe he could plan everythin.. i think he estimated everythin.. i.e. yi cen coming to his house and saw everythin... perhaps... he's getting more and more suspicious.. lol..

i just finished watching this series...and let me just say: TRIPPY! i totally didn't suspect that ____ was the killer and they didn't even reveal it until the very end. and the thing with the tape (part 2)....MAN what a shock but they didn't make as big a deal out of it as i thought they would.

all in all i would recommend this drama because it's totally different from all the gushy romance ones they put out all the time, and it really does leave you guessing. everyone's a suspect...

I finished until episode 4 tonight. The series is really good and quite addicting... makes us all think. Jia Wei is becoming more suspicious, it's disturbing me because I find him really cute :angel: Angela is getting better and better with her acting; it was a good decision on her part to get this role.

As much as I like it, I think the plot is still too heavy/dark for me. It's so disturbing to think that 17 year-olds could contemplate murder so easily! >.<

The ending sucked!! why did JW have to die. T_T he was so hot, even if he was evil, he as a hot villain. :x rofl. and the whole mom thing... it was just so messed. liket he entire plot was just messed up! everyone in it was messed up except for Yi Zhen and the guy. and aw i wish they showed more of if they got together in the end of not. and i dont know.. i dont htink they should've ended it so suddenly. i think they should've at least dragged it on for a little bit more. i think they should've ended it at episode 17 to match the whole 17 theme rahrah now i just wont shut up. T_T;; it was a great drama nonetheless, cuz it's the first one i've watched that's not all about love. :x heh. i've been watching the GTV versions instead of the CTV versions.
i must say that at the beginning they cut out so many important details in the CTV versions.
but in the end, the GTV one gets a little draggy.

for episode 13(?), they only put in two important details. the rest are all flashbacks.

lene: i think it's either 13 or 14. i'll have to go home and check.
but the episodes are over an hour each. so enough to keep you wanting to know more!

judes thanks. it says there are 13 eps in my B/T download, but the bootleg copy I have now has 20. I guess the eps I'm watching now are shorter, maybe around 30-45 mins each. this drama is quite addicting. I've been analyzing the details and wondering who the real killer is each night before I hit the sack. I want to get it over and done with but I suddenly got a research project I have to work on, so I have to stay away from the dvd player for a couple of days. It's killing me! :cry:

shez keep on watching; it's quite good! the guys are so cute too, especially Jia Wei... though they have to work on their acting.

does anyone know if the guys who played Jia Wei, Ke Qiang and Ke Jie have acted before in other dramas?

Lene: ahaha im sorry! ^^;; but.. yeah. lmfao im just sorry. :x okay so the cut version has 13 episodes and the uncut has 14. the airing time on tv is 1.5 hours but cutting out commercials, etc. it ends up being around 1 hour and 10 minutes. It really just depends on which version you're watching. oh and the 3 main male leads are ALL new actors! i think they all did fantastic as it was their first times acting, and such. :3

I thought the drama itself was good.
And the casts+ staff did a good job to keep the secret of who is the murderer.
And they didn't spill it all out untill the last episode, makes you want to watch EVERY episodes!
The most unexpected person.. was actually the murderer.

It's so sweet of you viv but you really don't have to apologize. And I only got to read the first sentence anyway ^^ I guess I'm just being anal about the total number of episodes. The title of the torrent I d/l-ed says that it's the complete drama from GTV but when I watched the 1st ep today, it was from CTV >.< aiyah, I guess it doesn't really matter.

As for the three new actors, they actually remind me of F4 in Meteor Garden. Ke Qiang is good when he's angry (like how Jerry Yan was as Dao Ming Si) but the way he talks is quite funny, how he stresses the last word of his lines, plus the sing-songy way he says them. but he's cute so that more than makes up for it :bleh:

-vIt- I'm dying to find out who the real killer is too but will have to wait til tomorrow to watch it again. I hope I make the right guess.

viv Jia Wei was so hot! And his acting towards the end was really good! :thumbsup:I agree with you. The drama left me wanting. It would have been great to see Ke Qiang and Yi Zhen happy together, after all they've been through. But I actually like the last scene, with her jumping into the pool and the little Yi Zhen emerging from it. My only problem with it really was the last few eps were too dragging, with all the flashbacks, plus the ending was too abrupt. *sigh* but yeah. Jia Wei is hotness. It broke my heart to see his true colors, so Ke Qiang it is for me then.

there was something plastic and disturbing about him from the beginning. but i didn't like the other guy either. he looked too "taiwanese" for me.
so i didn't watch it for the cute guys, i watched it for the more disturbing and thriller parts of the series.

i definitely agree that it got too draggy at the end. the last four episodes could be compressed into two if they took out the flashbacks.

wasn't really surprised who the killer was. was really surprised at some of the things related to jia wei's family though. a few twists really shocked me in the middle of the show, so i thought this was a well done drama.

I hate Jia Wei! He gets so annoying as the story goes on! My sister is always behind me saying how he is so good looking etc. But i really find nothing attractive in any of the guys in the drama. Maybe the evil character in the drama influenced how i felt to the actors~

I agree, the story towards the end is too draggy, I've been fast fowarding most of episode 12 and 13 when i was watching it yesterday. Partly because i didn't have time, but they've already shown some parts of the scenes before!

I didn't have the chance to guess who the murderer was! My sister told me the whole story before i watched it. Because at first, i thought that the drama was scary [ and i really hate scary movies] since i saw her watching the part where Yi Jing died, especially with all those scary music in the background. I thought Angela looked scary too =X

In their official site, VERY few guessed the right person as the murderer. They held a poll to see who the people think the murderer was, and if i remembered correctly.. less than 5% of the voters voted for the murderer. More than 50% of them voted for Jia Wei...

especially this part when the bad guy had this evil gleam..that haunted me for so long..hahah

one of the best tw dramas. its not your typical love triangle rich guys poor girl. none of the cliches are applied to this tw drama. its a mystery with alot of plot twists. angela zhang did a good job portraying twins. and one of her character's had alot of depths. solid performance. for some reason or another i cant help but think while watching this that bump off lover 17 gives me the same feeling as Mars (zhan sheng) anyways definitely recommend this to anyone who has not seen it.
