From Teens Magazine (Oct), by Evelyn Mak:
Ye Huimei
Jay Chou (Sony Music)
Taiwanese R&B sensation Jay Chou is back with his third disc( i think there is an error, i will inform the teens magazine about this), interestingly named after who much bethe most important person in his life... his mother! First single "In The Name Of The Father" is modelled after the 1972 Italian mafia movie The Godfather, and has a MV to match- Jay travelled all the way to Rome for the shoot.
Other tunes to listen up to are "Clear Day(Sunny Day)", as close to an upbeat ballad as he gets, and "Double Knife(Double Balde)", a tune reminiscent of his earlier hit "dragon Fist". Another interesting track is "East Wind Broke", where traditonal Chinese instruments like the er-hu and pipa take centrestage.
** I personally think that this review is not informative enough, and the writer can actually make a mistake by saying that this is Jay's 3rd disc... :-x... the magazine is a must-buy because they have a Jay Poster in it.. the poster picture is his album cover...
** sorry, i have forgotten all about it. Thank you for adding that, lepencil. It is very sad that this is only avaliable in singapore, there are also times that i wish to get a magazine but it is only avaliable in that country.
