Somehow i feel that vintage goods are really beautiful... not too sure whether it's under Jay's influence... :laughing:
But one thing, when i saw antiques or vintage looking stuffs, they will remind me of Jay!! :yeah:

yeah, i'm starting to notice that a little bit. like just now, i went out to the school library to get a book and saw this antique car parked on the street. i was like... hey, that looks a lot like jay's jaguar! except it's turquoise instead of royal blue. and it was a volkswagen, not a jaguar. heehee... but if it weren't for jay, i doubt that i would pay as much attention to such a car. :bleh: but echoing what Jam said. vintage stuff do look beautiful. except they're usually quite expensive. i'd probably still go for ikea furniture. haha... :laughing:

I like old, vintage stuffs but not cos of influence by Jay. He's a really avid collector. I'll be bankrupt if i follow in his footsteps.

and yeah cashew, i go for IKEA furniture. cheap and nice.

Jay doesn't influence me in the antique stuffs cause I'm into them already. But anyway, I'm glad that Jay sets a good example for young people to see the importance of old stuffs and buildings and especially the traditional music instruments and their own cultures.

err..so far i dont know how to admire them yet. There arent many antique shops that i noe of in Singapore, but i love to visit one at Centrepoint. It's my fave antique shop, that sells antique stuff from fones to accesories to clothes!! I dont buy any from them though. Firstly it's Expensive and they are used. So im rather afraid of using used stuffs.

But its really spooky inside, cos its really ANTIQUE!!!! especially the clothes.
Singaporeans should go check it out. I forgot which level but it's rather obvious.

Personally i like old antique looking cars... hehe i find them very interesting + neat looking! :happy: and it would be a PLUS if i drive one out, because a lot of people look ^__~

but as for antiques.. depends on what, like on my trip i saw so many old telephone booths i think they are so cool.. and old record players and stuff... but as for others it really depends what the antique is....

I did get a little bit more influenced by him, not like adoring them like he does, nor do i love it or i would start collecting... but if i pass by a place with antiques i would go in and take a look around and see the stuff very carefully.. some i like some i don't . SOme antiques i find can be fairly special.

i've been into old stuff since LONG before i even knew about Jay.

i ADORE old cars. of you refer to the VROOOM! car thred i even have pics of some of the classic cars i love.

as for furniture. most of my stuff in hand-me-downs from family, so alot of it is old. i guess i just like the look of old fine made stuff. heck i am currently sitting in an antique chair. surrounded by dye cast models of classic cars. my refrigorator is an antique. my bed too.

I like new stuff better most of the time... Antiques give me the creepy, old, weird smelling impression... okay... call me the tech-girl... I like my stuff up to date... *lol* and Jay can't change that...

the only exception to the "i-don't-like-antiques" syndrome of mine is probably when it comes to cars... oh... those vintage cars are way cool....

i must say that i never really liked those grannified clothes until jay wore them.. not necessarily because i think jay looks amazingly good in them but more because i think he looks funny in them XD in a cute way of course..

and i don't think of antique cars as old bangers anymore... after hearing of jay's wide collection of them i started to realise how unique, original and classic they were haha

oh and everytime i see an antique shop i think of jay ^_^

i wonder if it's that healthy to be so obsessed with jay that i begin to love and hate the things he does :?

kinda... it's kinda cool to dig up old antiques in stores... there is a store called tjmax in long island, ny (USA)... my dad always try to get a chance to see if there are any valuables at a cheap price... = P

I am so influence by Jay ever since he started to like antiques. I will have the initiative to enter any antiques shops selling lamps,clock,etc to have a look. Then I will start pointing to those unique and beautiful lamps and tell my sister that Jay will surely love that kind of lamps!

Honestly, the only thing that he influenced on me is music, and nothing beyond that... sorry.
Antiques... nah, no attachment, but I do respect people's hobbits. Not bad if you are a good record keeper...
