if you download GoldWave, you can record audio from video.
www.goldwave.com
1) open the program after downloading.
2) go to Options and select Control Properties (or press F11).
3) click on Volume tab and check off Wave.
4) press OK.
5) click on New file and for duration, select something that is longer than the length of time you plan on recording so that it won't cut off.
for example, if you plan on recording for 5+ minutes, then go for 10:00.0 (10 minutes).

If you want to extract only a part from a movie, i would use goldenwave. but if you just want the whole entire thing i got the best and fastest way to do it. this was done by trial and error, or was it just coincidence, hmm i forget. ok all you do is save the mpeg file, then simply make a backup copy. and then just change the suffix to .mp3, or .wma, or just any sound format. oh if you come up to any problems pm meh and i'll post it on this forum. (such as you are not able to change the suffix or you cant find it)

Well....I use Creative. It works if I use the recorder and change it to "What you hear" so it records whats playing on the computer....no microphone needed ^__^
