anyway...when jay's songs are stuck in my head, i either keep them there or think of another song or go play around with his lyrics. me and my frens have re-written ai qing xuan ya and jian dan ai already...we're working on qing tian... :laughing: the stress of o's is getting to us.
but i must say that jay's songs get stuck in one's head fairly easy...one day i was humming jian dan ai the whole way through lessons and my fren sitting next to me began humming it too even though she didn't really like jay and didn't even know the song. :laughing:

I realize this topic is dead, but I'm a fairlly new member, and thought I'd contribute. I only understand a little Chinese, so I never get the word stuck in my head, but the music stays for hours. What I do, is sit in front of the piano, pretend I'm Jay and go to town with his song. He writes the coolest piano melodies, and I just love learning to play them. 1) Listen to another song by another artist for the next 24 hours, you are bound to have Jay's song out of your head.

2) Listen to a very bad song or a song you don't like, it will keep to your miind even though you don't like the song

3) Do not listen to Jay songs for the next 7 days. Or if you can resist, 1-2 months.

If none of these works, then burn all of your Jay products.

When a song gets stuck, I just leave it alone. I like all his songs, so it's not annoying or anything, I actually enjoy it. If worse comes to worse, like I have a headache or really need to study, I just concentrate on a ticking clock or my own breath, and it goes away, eventually.
