that jus about says it...ive seen a lot of pictures of japanese and chinese star b4 they were famous...and u can see a lot of obvious alterations...even BoA u can see a big different in her face between her first music video and how she looks now...its seems really common for girls, and im sure some guys have done it too...but no one will openly come out with the true =/

Yeah I guess plastic surgery is ok as long as you look good after and you are doing it for a good reason. But I really dont agree with those breast enhancement like Pamela Anderson :dry: I guess its ok to have them if u are like flat.. but :dry: Anyways yeah!

And most celebs who did plastic surgery actually look really pretty + natural! Like Ayumi... She had plastic surgeries right?

my friend (a jolin fan) said jolin got a nose job and did something to her cheeks. she said jolin was open about it and said "ai mei shi mei you zui de." (there is no crime for wanting to be beautiful? can't really translate that sentence)

I don't think she's ever had little eyes because I saw a pic of her before she was famous and her eyes were pretty big. Makeup can do such wonders for people. But I think Ayumi's definitely got her nose done.


It's too bad they set such an example for people, esp those who are struggle with self-confidence. "Is there a crime for wanting to be beautiful?" No, but why can't someone stand up for the saying we all want to believe in, "Inside beauty is what matters the most"?

yea, ayumi got surgery on her eyes. that's why if you look in some pictures of her, you'll notice she has like four eyelids, it's kind of scary looking. i remember there was a lot of talk about ayumi's eye surgery a few years ago when she was starting to get really famous.
and boa got the double eyelid (ssang ka peul) surgery. a lot of people also say she got a nose job and whatever, but i don't think it's true because other than her eyes, nothing of hers looks different from when she was little.
i haven't heard of any taiwanese/hk artists getting plastic surgery, i guess it's not as widespread in the cpop world as it is in the kpop world. either that or it's not as accepted to people don't openly admit it as often.

i'm one of the VERY few people who thinks boa DIDN'T get plastic surgery. people keep claiming that her nose became sharper or her face is skinnier or whatever. but OF COURSE it's skinnier.. she's a TEENAGER! what young teenage girl's face doesn't change? i swear she looks the same from when she was 11.

except maybe the double eyelid thing.. although i don't really consider that as plastic surgery.

I'm not sure about BoA, but for Korean Artists, having a face job is like... so common. So common that they don't find it embarassing. I know Chae Rim, one beautiful Korean actress has done a nose job. And she said it bluntly, and doesn't deny it. =P

I might sound stupid.... but old and new pics will show whether they have a plastic surgery. And one important part is NOSE. Even if you lose weight, you might get skinnier cheeks, but it won't give you skinnier nose. So...just pay attention to the NOSE.

About the eyelid surgery, so many has done it. I heard even Ruby Lin got hers eyelid from a surgery. I saw in in a Tabloid with before and after pictures. And also Takuya Kimura got his eyes done. And Barbie Hsu too. Her eyes were scary before ><.

Actually I thought that plastic surgery in China is not as popular as in USA.So I dont know anyone who did it.
