Is there anything you copy from Jay since you look up to him so much?

On to the topic, I'm just curious whether you guys look up to Jay so much you begin to perhaps dress like him, act like him or perhaps try to act like your his ideal girl? :D

For me.. I like his hair. :D He has motivated me to grow my hair, haha!

yeah actually i started to do this gun thing that jay does.. u know in the making-the-videos for "the last battle" and "in father's name," he puts his arm up, points out two fingers like a gun, and goes "boom" (or something like that).. yup i kinda started that habit..like i would just suddenly do it out of nowhere and it annoys everyone haha..

Well me, I do copy the "he he ha he" thing from Jay. Try to smile like he does. Trying to talk like Jay, sings like him....looking for guys that looks like him. :blush:
I think I pick this "I don't know how to say" from Jay when he speaks in cantonese. It's hilarious cause Jay's cantonese is not so good so I copy how he say and the way he said it was funny too. I copy a lot of other things from Jay unexpectedly, but for right now this is all I can remember. Learning the Piano could be one...or how about starting to listen to a lots of Yo Yo Ma music and start to fell in love with the Cello too. :happy:

No, there's nothing of Jay that I copy even though I look up to him so much. Except there's one thing that I really really want to do, learn how to play the piano. But since I can only take music class during my senior yr, I'll have to wait a long long time.

Im a natural introvert and very shy. I like being by myself with music, i like to do what i want to do. I already know how to play the piano so i dont need to start learning to play his music!

But Im told i do a lot of what he does and stuff associated with him without realising! I would say 'wu liao' instead of the cantonese pronouciation and i would say a lot of mandrain phrases automatically (which i picked off the songs) without thinking, even before the canto comes into my head. I point to myself a lot and i always stick my hands into my pockets when posing for a photo or have nothing to do. Im told ive cocked my head to one side and to the other when thinking once! :laughing:

i'm not sure if i'm copying jay in anything. but i do notice that my mind's been filled with mandarin lately even though i'm canto myself. like i'll think to myself in mando and i'll say stuff like, "hen diao e" (it's very diao) without being really aware of it. :oops: singing-wise, i don't think i'm copying his mumbling. i'm kind of a stickler for enunciation. but i do try to imitate his singing style when singing his songs in terms of emotions. still have to push myself a bit when it comes to playing the piano. i tend to like playing pop songs or soundtrack-type music, so jay's music is a great motivation. :)

I think i had copy jay mumbling and i had just realised it.
When i talk to my friends,they would all go *huh*.
Maybe is because i always sing his songs and in one incident when I am singing his YFZM, my friend keep on laughing and say that i had make a mistake in one of the word,so we went to listen to How jay sing and discover that Jay too had that mistake.

i start to wear sweater with the cap that jay wore in fantasy... sometimes i also find myself quite weird la, cos i'm living in singapore and it's damn hot... but i'm wearing my sweater... just to feel like jay.

after i have started listening to jay, i have started to mumble even when i talk.. perhaps its natural after trying to hard to learn jay's rap (only achievable by mumbling!) that you will start mumbling too.... and like many of you, my friends and family members will be like "huh" after i speak... they don't understand what im saying, especially since i talk really fast too...

i don't think i look up to jay as much as i respect him and admire him for being the talented musician that he is. and i don't think there's anything in particular that i copy of him. although i did keep saying "chi so hai bin doh" for a while after listening to him say it all the time in one of his HK concerts. i think it's kind of hard for me to copy jay because i'm not a guy, so i can't really copy his style of clothing or hair or anything because i'd look funny lol. i wish i could play piano as well as him and play the cello too though.

Not exactly copy, but i tried to control my anger and not flare up so often.. Jay has a pleasant personality, don't really see him flaring up or scolding others and i learned to respect and understand my parents more.. I admit i used to think they are always bothering me but seeing that Jay is so fillial, I can't help but treat my parents better :happy:

Other than that, I've also tried to dress up more into fashion. explore and try out new stuffs. Like how Jay's wearing those Grandpa glasses. Been trying to get those.. Unfortunately I don't speak Chinese so I can't immitate Jay's singnig style but There are several things that i want to copy Jay. First, I want to go back to playing piano as I gave up once when I was small, and now Jay really gives me inspiration to go and get started again. Second thing is the boyish of Jay, like the clothes and stuff, I am not a boy but I find Jay's clothes very cool so I sometimes buy girl versionn of Jay clothes and wear it out with trousers and stuff. i thinking using the word "diao" has become part and parcel of many of his fans' lives. perhaps, not mine. i don't really copy what he says or what he does. what i like about jay is his passion for music. that's one thing i respect jay for. regardless of the critics, about his always-the-same-kind music, he never let us down. he sticked to his own beliefs and work on what he thinks suits him most, which i think is what a real singer to be like. i wouldnt like someone who always obeys the critics and in the end, lost his own style.

I dont think I do, I only listen to his music. My hair is totally different from his, i have short he has long. Well i did have it long in middle school, but it was spiked up. I guess i just like to be different, its my style. Clothes are definitely different, different brands, different styles, everything different. The only thing i can remember that was like jay's was the jeans, but i doubt he had hollisters, and i bought it before i saw he had it, really i did.

yea...i started to cover my mouth alot...like..in a way to hide myself n especially when im laughin too...sometimes the kinda cough gesture with my hand..like in "si mian chu ge" at the end...
n sometimes i would feel kinda "not wanna talk or look at anyone" mood, so ill put my head down n cover my eyes with my hair..n lastly..i started to buy n wear BIGGG rings...like those very sparkly n big rings that jay always love to wear...oh...n im started to mumble a lil when i sing other artists songs....
