zhou jie lun arrives in singapore today, 60 security officers on guard at concert

r & b wonderboy zhou jie lun will be holding 2 concerts at the singapore indoor sports stadium this weekend, and is scheduled to arrive in singapore at around 12pm today, spokesperson for the concert organiser 'hai xia' records said, if zhou jie lun needs more time to rest, he might arrive a few hours late.

including the security staff at the airport, hai xia records arranged to have 20 security staff to protect zhou jie lun at the airport. on the night of the concert there will be around 60 security officers, including 4 personal bodyguards, to fully protect him.

last time zhou jie lun arrived in singapore he had 10 security staff with him, but was still scratched by the affectionate fans. so this time round the concert organisers have to increase the security staff numbers.
at present 95% of tickets for the 11/01 and 12/01 concerts have been sold.

the special guests at his concert have also been revealed. one is his close friend liu geng hong, who will participate in a short drama and basketball segment. the other is 21 year-old local newcomer rui en, who will perform her songs in the concert.

spokesperson for hai xia said, zhou jie lun's concert last year had focused on his singing and music talents. this time there will be more costumes, and also a fresh attempt at a short drama type of performance.

I remember Dawn (macdawn) told us how one time she went to see Jay at the airport in S'pore and someone reached out to touch him, but scratched his face instead. She said he looked pretty annoyed.

But I remember reading somewhere that there weren't many ppl to greet him this time?

ya the straits times reported that oni ard 20 fans went to fetch him, i think it is probably due to tt sch had juz reopened. somemore last time when he came for the charity show, it was the sch holidays...
anyway juz enjoy ourselves at his concert this wkend :wink:

just a quick question is..

if you DO wait for him at the airport, im at the impression that Jay is the kind that tries to get to his car as calmly and quickly as possible, with a short wave good bye.
Um.. so.. no stops for autographs and pics, if thats the case.. its not the greatest way to spend 2-3 hours waiting for him. See him for 2 min, while kicking and scratching for a glimpse of him, and MAYBE getting a wave goodbye. But maybe its cuz im a guy.

it's actually not abt ditching sch or wad.. it's becos i would feel so guilty if i actually skipped sch to catch a glimpse of him. studies are priority right now, jielun second :) i still wan to be a sensible girl.. and not some crazy f4 fans!! hehee i skipped sch to queue for hello kitty not becos i love it, jus for the kick of it. jus walked out of sch when i dont feel like staying there anymore. but ive changed already!! hehee.. but i would skip sch if he had a concert going on!!
