Jay in MTV (ch51) summer concert @ 2pm, 31Aug - singapore time

Calling those residing in Singapore .. ( I dunno whether its the same for ppl in other areas) MTV channel 51 will be showing their summer concert at 2 pm - 5 pm on 31 Aug. This is the one that Jay will perform in, but im not sure what time he will appear... pls look out for it as he will perform quite a number of songs including san nian er ban!! :excited:

oh!! i've watched the show this afternoon! such a fantastic performance by Jay!!

thought he should he more pingpong balls down the stage.. ha ha..

and the yu ni who rapped in "nuo fu" looks quite cute.. but her live singing is too weak... can't hear her sometimes..

Ene, there will be a repeat this coming Wednesday, if I'm not wrong, from 1pm to 4pm.

Yeap, I've caught it already. Basically, these are my comments.

1) I didn't see Jay do any hip-hop dance which media had so much hyped out about leh.

2) Jay looked kinda tired when he was singing those songs. He must've been rather tired out by his recent promotions and preparations for his concert in China.

3) This time round, he really sounds much better than his previous concerts and 'live' performances. At least we can really hear him more clearly and he hasn't forgotten the lyrics of his songs. Hhahahah.

For those who missed it (like me!), the part with jay is part 3, which will be telecast again on 03.09.03 1pm - 4pm and 12midnite to 3am.

dropshot, if i'm wrong, jay perform qing tian, nuo fu, san nian er ban and......not sure....help? cacky? i only managed to catch nuo fu and kitty really "screaming" too high...n jay really improves a lot in "live"!

i loved it when he performed "her lashes" .. cant really explain why. the part where the little gril raps, it was quite bad, she was very LOUD but was UNCLEAR and her voice was too SHARP... but she's a little girl after all, cant really blame her. Jay needs to train her up more!! :wink2:

for those who do not want to sit through the 3 hrs concert ( i personally did not enjoy the performances of SHIN, 5566 etc .. ) jay came out only in the last half hour. he performed for only abt 20 mins, but it was good !! :laughing:

Okay guys, let me just clarify everyone's doubts. Perhaps there has been some confusion here. You can catch the repeat telecast of Jay in the MTV Summer Concert on 3/9/03 (Wednesday) from 1pm to 4pm and 12 midnight to 3pm.

He will only be appearing in the last 45 minutes of the concert. Once you see Landy singing, he will be upcoming next. As for what were the songs he performed, they were [三年二班]，[晴天]，[他的睫毛]，[懦夫]。

And yeah Rachelle, Kitty was screaming away. Damn funny. Hhahaha.

But there is one part where she stood down while the dancers are dancing away and she waved at the audience and I thought she is cute there. :happy:

Also, abt the hip hop dance that Jay did...I couldn't see it!! It's so small that I can't see what is he dancing...!! :oops: *curse the producer*

You guys don't need to sit in front of the TV by 1 pm. You'll be bored to death watching SHIN, 5566, and R&B. (You could do so many things for that 2 hours that I have wasted waiting for Jay to be onstage. :dry: )

Just pop in once it's about 3 pm. You get a perfect time. Landy would sing a couple of songs, then Jay would come onstage!!

on the day that they showed it the first time i was quite pissed off.. i couldn't watch the first hour cos my dad wanted to cable.. so i could only start watching in the 2nd hour.. by then i only saw SHIN and 5566( eek!! don't like them) and they kept going on and on and so i thought i missed jay already.. since i thought the show was only 2 hours long.. so i stopped watching.. then later i went back to watch tv at around 4.45 and decided to so some channel surfing and to my absolute horror i say jay who had just fnished singing qing tian!!! ahh that means i missed 2 songs!! argh was so pissed at myself.. anyway i just watched the repeat just now.. and i tuned in just in time to watch the whole jay segment undisturbed.. *yay*

i must say that i think jay's performance on stage has improved a lot.. he seems to handle the crowd better and better and is more interesting to watch... i remember in his older clips he would just stand there and sing without much expression.. but now he seems more alive in front of crowds.. a lot more expression and interaction with the crowd

He was wearing a necklace that said 龙 (long) and it means dragon.
