Anyone else listen to Lin Yi Lian (Sandy Lam)?

I haven't seen her mentioned on this site. She has that one song thats good. Dunno about any others. Would be considered oldschool chinese music.

yup! i sure do. i love her old songs... she's got a great voice! a couple of personal faves are "ai shang yi ge bu hui jia de ren" and "zhi shao hai you ni".

Is she the person who sung "Zui Hao Di Shi" (The Best Thing)? Karen uploaded that song a while back in the Incredible Song thread and I liked it a lot.. I forget if it was Sandy Lam who sung it though..

i think shes a great singer...my parents love her too..shes old but shes great..but itz too bad that i only have like 1 song by her...but i've seen her on tv sometimes singing other songs...i love her voice..itz so smooth...unlike S.H's voices..hers is high but not sqeeky...i gurantee u that it wont break ur ears(unlike S.H)

Thinks Sandy does have a really good voice although i don't listen much to her. Pretty much like her Shang Hen, which is a pretty old song. And of course there is Zhi Shao Hai You Ni which is a really meaningful song i think.

Sandy has been ard here for a really long time and she is a real veteran in the industry. Thinks she has kept a rather low profile in recent months.

Finds that Elva Hsiao has a few similiarities when compared to Sandy though.

Sandy has a very soothing voice..and its very sweet. Shang Hen and zhi shao hai you ni are my all time favourites. Mei Gui Xiang and Ye Tai Hei are pretty nice songs too, tho they are not the usual slow love songs..

i like sandy lam too. she has a sweet voice and she can really sing live.
she's one of the very few female canto singers i like (besides cass pang and shirley kwan). got her 2002 concert vcd and it was so good ! love her old canto songs. she also sang jay's "long juan feng" in the concert, and said that her daughter really liked the song :happy:
