Mika Nakashima, anyone ?

yep, Mika is my no #1 idol.
I 've noticed that there are not much Jpop fans here...and 1 old topic about Mika's album, pretty old. Just wanna know who's interested in Mika. She is going to release A-Best in Dec...and i have seen the remake version of Amazing Grace. Not bad at all, I like it.

I am a huge fan of Mika! :-)

I absolutely adore her because she's so naturally beautiful and can pull of so many different looks. I also love her music because they are really different and unique. Her voice is really soothing as well.

She was recently in the movie, Nana. I haven't seen it though but I'll be definitely seeing it soon!

yea, Mika is very hot, always. I like her style in Glamorous sky, as Nana - Mika rocks! But I also hope after Nana movie, her usual style will come back. Rock is not suitable for her voice. Although Glamorous sky atracts a lot of new fans, it's not the cup of tea for her old fans. The only song I like in that single is Blood :rolleyes:

MIKA! i love her voice!! it's totally awesome..and she's really pretty too =P
the first song i heard from her was glamourous sky..and it totally rocks! so i became her fan...hehe
she's one of the few people who i think has an angelic voice~

Ive heard about her since some time back, quite a huge singer in Japan i guess. But it was Nana that really caught my attention. I loveee the manga and i just saw the movie, must really say her portrayal blew me away. A living Nana! Now i cant imagine someone who can do it better than Mika. Freaking cool.
Not to mention her Glamorous Sky was a darn good song. :happy:

Personally I don't think she looks bad in it since she can pull off almost any style but I prefer her other styles more. And the rock songs she did.. I also prefer her other songs more!

Yupyup that's Mika's boyfriend. I believe they are still together. Same here.. he's too old and I think she can do better but oh well.

As a L'arc en Ciel fan (of course i am also a fan of hyde), i was introduced to Mika Nakashima. initially, i didn't like Glamorous Sky, but it soon grew on me. After a few more spin, and i was quite intrigued with mika, so i decided to check some of her stuff out.

...and i just fell in love with her music! I absolutely love her musical style. My personal favorites are Sakura Maukoro, Love Waltz and yuki no Hana.

mika has a voice that's unique in the jpop scene. it has that soulful and deep voice. her songs are also very relaxing. her new songs don't appeal to me that much though, except for glamorous sky. i like the songs from her MUSIC album.

I recently started getting into her again. She has a really beautiful voice. Even when singing really simple songs like "Aisheteru," she can still take the song and make it her own. I respect that about her, cuz that's a rare quality to possess, especially for a younger singer.

Mika has a really distinct voice amongst other jpop artists and very mellow with a new style that she puts into her songs and the music followes here rather than the other way around its outstanding speechless lol

I agree. Ever since I'm Sorry, I love you came out, I've heard that song sung countless times in karaoke joints. Although I enjoy the original better, Mika brings a fresh interpretation to the Japanese version that is both melancholic and relaxing.
