friends, i just happened to listen to 3 versions of piaoyi, the first one is the one with Chapman To voice in the intro, the second one is with anthony wong voice, and the last one is the bonus track in november chopin where there is jay's voice saying that he drives AE86, if the version with chapman to is from jay mp3, then where can we find the one with anthony wong?

Then I'll have to say there's four versions !!!!!

I've heard one with Edison and Shawn talking at the start.
But I guess they are just recording different versions to create a different feeling. Or maybe it's for promotion ? x)

i havent heard the 4th one states by huifen. so far ive heard these w/ the intros typed out

1) "Put this in the car. If you spill one drop, Ill kill you. Go! (Found in movie trailer #2)

2) *laughter* Fujiwara tofu? Whys the car so shiny? Let me ask him. Hey kid what kind of car is this?
Jay (Takumi): AE86...why?
Guy: AE86?!?! Im going to drive it for a bit.
Jay: Whatever. *music*
(found in November's Chopin album)

3) credit: JCNET
Chapman To (Itsuki Takeuchi): 好簡單,這是飄移甘!
(Cantonese: Very easy…that is drifting!)

甘點飄啊?
(Cantonese: How to drift?)

一轉彎,拉一拉手掣,把車子搖一搖。
(Cantonese: Once you turn into a corner, pull the handbrake then the car should shake a bit.)

甘又點啊??
(Cantonese: Then how will it look?)

型囉!
(Cantonese: Cool!)
(found in J III mp3 player and Initial J album)

huifen, if you mean when theyre saying like: If you can beat all the racers in Gunma Province, ill race with you. thats in the 3rd version in the middle.

yeah i think the one with edison and shawn is the same with chapman to in the intro, so intro with anthony wong is not from initial j album?

The one with Edison and Shawn in the intro.
The both of them were talking about racing each other.
It also the first few lines from Initial D THE MOVIE where Edison asked Shawn to start from one side of the hill and race different racers.

yea.... ill have to go with the one where he say's go
just sounds alot cooler

the cantonese talking takes too long...and makes the whole mood of the music a bit different

also... are the different versions different time lengths?

im curious as to the version of the one from November's Chopin..where theres laughter at the beginning..that......wasnt a dialogue from the movie right?? then where hell is it from!?!! I think i would like the Anthony Wong version although i've never heard it..but seems much betterz that the "laughter" version...

those dialogues from Nov' chopin isn't from movie, i think Jay add that up himself. but the dialogue by anthony wong and edison and shawn are from movie

There must be at least 6 versions because I have a version where the intro has jay chou saying (in mandarin) "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Wo she Zhou Jie Lun". This version has lots of car screeching noises in it.
There is also another version I have which sounds a bit like the normal version on November's Chopin but sounds slightly different because the intro is really quiet but gets louder and there's no talking.
And I also have another version where it's loud from the start and there is also no talking.
