Just wonder is there any of u guys like them? I miss them so much.They are my fav singers of all time!! But too bad now they don't have any plan to do Spice Girls work and i think they won't do that for sure since Mel C said Spice Girls has died :cry: But i still continue support thier solo work.
Which one of the girls you like the most? :happy:
My fav is Victoria,Posh!! She ROCKS!! I'm waiting for her 2nd album which will be released around end of the year!!(after flop debut album :dry: )Her sound have changed,she's kind of into HipHop,R&B.Can't Wait!!!!!! :excited:

i once admired them in the past..
but now, i dun as much.. coz they've separated and i dun see them as a girl band anymore.. more of individuals like geri halliwell, emma watson, melanie c, posh spice.. they seem to be also successful even on their own! :)
anyway, spice girl was really once popular.. and they sing good songs too.. :)

Yeah I do remember Spice Girls.They were the first group I liked actually.After Geri left....Spice girls just wasn't the same anymore.I used to like them...but not anymore.

My favourite was Posh too, and my fave Man Utd player was Becks...so when they got together i was so happy for them! Then there were all these rumours about them, and she kept embarassing him so much (the thong incident, and Goldenballs) so i dunno how he puts up with her! But they are both really sweet...hope they stay together forever!

I bought their first album and collected these photos...i had loads of Posh, dunno where theyve gone now! You used to swap them at school and everywhere!

Ohh yes I still remember them! I use to be crazy about them in grade 4 to grade 5! :blush: I had all their albums..And got their lollipops, stickers, and everything :glug:
I think my fave member was probably Mel C or Mel B... or Posh.. I didnt really like Geri or Emma~~
I wish they could get back together and do one song or something! It'll be so cool!

i use to REALLY like them, i use to buy the dolls, buy the CD's, but now they are like soo, YEARS ago and there are so many new singer groups to be into rather than them! they use to be REALLY popular, but now that they've split up, their kind of disappearing.. :happy:

They really reached out to a lot of fans I guess. They seemed to have a lot of good hits. I did get one of their cds in the past but that was it unfortunately till they broke up.

Too bad S Club 7 broke up too and guess who was their manager? Uh huh, Spice Girls Manager was S Club's as well. Imagine that on your resume.

Yep i do remember them...Back then i was one of their biggest fans i guess.And my fave was Melanie C coz i thought she was pretty cool with all her sporty clothes and stuffs.Their first album was extremely cool and i liked all of the songs in it especially Wannabe and Say You'll Be There.If they ever released their greatest hits (have they released it?i think not),i might consider buying it! :)

Wow u only heard 1 song from them?! And the group had 7 ppl but then one guy left and then they called it S Club and then eventually they broke up.. Now they have a group called S Club Juniors!

Ah, Spice Girls was probably my first obsession. I was so little then. I actually really did like their songs and the messages weren't so bad. Looking back, naming themselves a certain spice is kind of corny, but they weren't bad and they were definite rivals for The Beatles for some reason.

I actually did do follow ups on them after they sort of disbanded. Geri's solo album Sczhiophonic (okay, I can't spell) and Mel C's (Sporty Spice) album Northern Star were both really good. I didn't buy Emma's solo album though because by then, I had lost interest.

*sigh* Sczhiophonic is probably one of my favorite albums too. --;;

There slow paced songs were great IMO. They really could sing. I'll give them that :)

I loved one of there music videos. I dont' remember it too clearly though atm. It had all these sort of lights. I think it was car lights and they just speed it up?

LOL, I have their 1st 2 albums I think... My room mate was playing their songs the other day, I found out I can still remember a lot of the lyrics. Honestly, I think none of them can sing. Mel C is probably the best, but I don't like her type of voice. Posh is probably the worst when it comes to singing... but she's the most famous now... because of a certain famous soccer player.... ^^ My professor once said she is a marketing genius when it comes to marketing herself and her husband.

During sports day, someone played the Spice Girls album on the field, and a couple of girls were singing along. It was obvious that everyone remembered all the lyrics but were too embarassed to join in! I agree with you when you say none of them can sing, but they managed to pull off some great songs!

Yup... Victoria Beckham has been so much more successful than the others, but its just good luck for her that she fell in love with a successful sportsman who loves everything about her. Who doubts the love that David Beckham has for Posh?

Well, well.. the Spice Girls.. I think almost every little girl used to be obsessed with them :laughing: Their "Spice" CD was the first CD I ever bought and even though I haven't listened to it for a few years, I can still probably sing a lot their songs.. hehe and they did have a lot of nice tracks. Gary I think the vid you're talking about is 2 become 1? Anyways, by grade 6, I lost interest cuz that was my Hanson phase :blush:

How can we not remembering them? Used to be one of the hottest girl band and the famous Victoria Becks was one of them.
Seeing Victoria Becks reminds me of Spice Girls.

I think they had alot of talent :tongue: Together they complemented each other. I don't like them seperately though :oops:

I didn't find any of them really attrative either.....I still loved them though. That to me shows they do have some talent :)

I had an email forward of Brooklyn's pictures.... He is soooo adorable. I'm one of the few females who is immune to Beckham though, LOL. Romeo is an awful name for a kid, or adult.

Yup, Spice Girls as a group was alright... individually they just don't have enough talent/charisma/attraction

Yeah I still member them Spice gurlz, use ta have the cd, don't know where it is right now.... :? My fav song was "STOP," I member in gr.5 me n my best fwend did the dance 4 it to the class, cause we had to do this airband thingy!!! :wink2: N guess what we got an "A!!" :) My fwend was the one who taught me the dance, kinda 4get it, still member some moves though.... I wasn't too good doing it by myself, I forgot where the moves were, but when we did it 2gether, it was much easier 4 me!!!! :happy: Anyways, I haven't seen the movie 4 they did. i saw their vcd a few weeks ago when geri just left the band...it's a great concert with firework and other special effects!

oh yes, i remember when i was about 16 (spice girls were still hot), me and other 3 classmates sang "2 become 1" in a singing contest and we won the first prize! :laughing:
very surprising! i remember i sang victoria's part...haha!!

Well it seems like Victoria is the famous one out of all of them now.Heard that there was some kind of kidnapping case about Victoria....and I think her son too.

The songs called 2 become 1. Me and my school friends used to line up outside in the yard and sing and dance the routine. Especially at the end of the chorus, where you hold your arm out, stick 2 fingers up and put one down to leave one...hehe

Yup, a newspaper called News of the World had an investigation about some drugs dealer and unearthed a plot to kidnap Posh and Brooklyn and Romeo. They informed the police and they really were serious. I cant remember the ransom they wanted but they had weapons or a detailed plan to kill them if Becks didnt pay. :oops:

This wasnt the first time either. Before Romeo was born, the entire family had to move to a safehouse cos there were also threats about there safety. Beckham spends millions every year on security outside their house. Even their cars have to be bulletproof.

All the papers in UK have DB on the front cos he has a new autobiography out...

In an article he says, "Im looking forward to life in Madrid. Brooklyn just thinks its a holiday. Hes out in the sun and in the swimming pool. He loves it out there, he just wants to be wherever his mummy and daddy are. That makes him happy." :D

And he also says a lot about Posh... saying how they are a perfect couple saying "Victoria knows me. She knows when there's something worng. She knows when i've got something on my mind." :cry:

i can remember how that song made it to the number one spot over here in the UK in 1997 and it stayed there for a good few weeks.

I think i read in the newspaper that they might record a greatest hit album with all there number one hits in and maybe a new song but not sure if this is true because it was from 'The Sun' which is a right-wing newspaper blah blah blah.....its something like that and it maybe gossip i just i let you know because it might happen.

hmm...spice girls, i remember i didnt like them...they were popular when i was in like 4th and 5th grade. i dont know why i didnt like them. maybe it wasnt NOT LIKING THEM, it was probably just because i didnt really know about them much. and i probably never listened to music. thats because until around 7th grade i was kind of within myself and i never really THOUGHT about the outside world, you could say. i dont have very clear memories before 7th grade. ~_~ before then i didnt listen to anything unless it was something my parents had on the radio<--stuff like Air Supply and Beach Boys. :glug: plus i didnt pay attention to clothing at all. :cry: i was probably a nerd of some sort.

i remember kids singing this lil tune that went with one of the spice girls' songs:
if you wanna be my sandwich,
you gotta be ham and cheese,
mayonaise is too fattening,
so pass the mustard please.

yeah i remember them. when i was in 3rd grade, i start to like their song a lot...my fav. one was sporty spice...i think she was cool! :) my old friend brought a video called spice world...i watch it like 2-3 time from the past. did anyone watch that movie? anyway...when i was in 7th grade, i found out the spice girls had spilt up.... :cry: and i really want to buy the last album from them...the cd that don't have Ginger in it...my friend have it and i really like it! then i don't like them anymore b/c i totally forgot about them :? and now when i hear the song again..i like them again! :)

OMG! I cant imagine this. I thought no one like them anymore. I love Victoria B. She's so beautiful. When her new single debuted at no 3, i cried. I dont know why people like to criticize her. Anyway, nice to know some jay chou fans actually like Spice Girls!

I remember them for sure..i think they are the greatest girlband ever..they have lots of no 1s songs and also their songs are adorable..i love their songs such as 2 become 1, Mama, viva forever and others..too bad they are split right now and do solo project. But i think their solo performance will not be able to put them back on top again..

I just remembered something when I heard All Saints (remember them?) on radio today.

They used to say Spice Girls can't sing and that they , All Saints, are the better girl group. Well, look which one prevails, huh?

Spice Girls were good despite what the media says. They had good songs and they wrote most of them. They had a really unique style and were really popular. Too bad they couldn't stay together longer. I think they are they best girl band ever. All Saints remade many other artists songs on their first cd and they don't even sound good.

haha, one of my floormates still listens to them pretty often. he'll play a bunch of their songs back-to-back and say stuff like..."these songs are so great...how can you not like the spice girls?" and really mean it seriously. i guess it's something about how pop music was so much better in the late 90s than it is now...i miss the good old days of the backstreet boys and pop music like theirs. haha.

Yea I recently read about them in last month's issue of Reader's Digest.. It was the story about how David Beckham met Posh Spice and married her etc.. But when the Spice Girls were really popular I was only in primary school.. So I didn't know much about them.

I don't really like Spice Girls...But I think this particular news would mean something for the fans.

I heard from the radio yesterday that Spice Girls wants to compile a new album. It is the 'Very Best' album of Spice Girls, where they put all the best, bestest, mega bestest songs on a single album. It is planned to have more than 1 CD, of course. (2 or 3 CDs album, I think.)

And If I'm not mistaken...I also heard that this album is a sign of their comeback. The first time I thought of it...I was thinking about Spice Girls' regrouping. I don't know...But I don't think so. I think they want to remind the world that Spice Girls is still one of the 'evergreen' girl bands.

i was absolutely OBSESSED with the spice girls when i was younger. i have the movie, and i bought the lollipops to collect all their stickers. i knew all their lyrics and have all their cds.

my cousins and i would copy their choreography and perform in front of our parents =P i was sporty spice, but my favourite was baby spice. (typical lol) (because she was blonde and "cute")

I remember the Spice Girls!My favoutire was Mel C-Sporty spice. I was also a big fan of them. I remember thier movie and how I used to watch it so many times.

Many became solo artists, I think the most successful one was Emma-Baby Spice. She came out with good singles like What took you so long.

My all time favourite Spice Girl song is 'Goodbye'. Nice slow pop song. I never hated Geri for leaving the Spice Girls, I never blamed her but I was devestated that Spice Girls would never be as a whole group again releasing albums and singles.

I still have their records and listen to them now and again. They were great, I don't think there would be another great girl band like them. Maybe.

i remember them but it has been a while since i have seen anything from spice girls or just them individually..but i have to say taht my favorite was posh..ahah not sure really exactly why but i think that she was one that i liked to see with how she was and all. But they were the first band that i ever listened to and liked. I was a fan of theirs in some ways. but then i stopped while other bands were coming out.

So now, she turns to the fashion world, doing a bit of modelling and releasing her new line of clothing. I don't know how successful her fashion is going but generally speaking, people still do pay attention to her.............because her husband is David Beckham?

I respect them as a couple because they are good parents and good role models. They are good people at heart.
