Who will win the most popular male and female artist in Hong Kong? Tonight it will all be revealed. Jay is the first to enter the top 5. He is going to battle it out with Andy Lau, Eason Chan, Andy Hui and Hacken Lee. Even though Eason Chan and Hacken Lee have always been seen as the favorites, but the betting online shows that Jay is a favorite, his odds are 4. He is closely behind Hacken Lee.

I swear HK needs some new "Heavenly Kings" because these kinds are hitting 40 and even before that time I never found them to be all that "Heavenly" @__@ aiyaaaaaa.....

LOL Pandi ;D When i was lil i lived in HK and he was really popular then, along with Aaron Kwok, Leon Lai, and the bunch.

But yeah it's kind of strange Jay is in the Most Popular Male Artist thing in HONG KONG.. lol he's all over the place ;D Good luck to him!

Ummm i kno im a bit behind on the awards and stuff....but ummm so did he win?
did jay win any awards in hong kong...
i have been in malaysia..and though i have TVBJ - TVB satellite at home i havent been able to watch nething...can some 1 pls fill me in

hey. u know other than the 4 big heavenly kings (si da tian wang) there's the 4 small ones (si xiao tian wang) and jay IS one of them. (others include nic tse)

and andy lau is (feels like a traitor) Hot. hey. he IS. he just looks so - elegant all the time. (tho he's sorta short)

and I've been watching Andy Lau since the late 80s when I was just a little kid. and Tony Leung...I thought he was a heavenly king too? or is this just for music?

i loved chong qing sen ling. must've been one of the most artistic movies i've seen. lol canned pineapples. so sad and sweet.

Yeah Tony's one of my favorites of all time, I saw him in Chung King Express, Tokyo Raiders, Butterfly and Sword, not to mention TVB serials from the 80s. I'm dying to see Hero when it comes out!!
I love his sorta bad boy persona too :love:

Guess Andy Lau has a certain status in the entertainment industry, along with his fan base of God knows how many years... that's why he can survive. Think his fans are the really die hard type that will support him even when he's 60! Not cos of his singing or what, but cos they have been attached to him for so long. Maybe it's a psychological thing... to stay loyal and all.
