My Sassy Girl was really funny, I loved it, but yeah I gotta agree with you, Cha Tae Hyun's acting is better than his singing...seems too many acters either turn singers, or singers turn acters, which is annoying because not all of them are good at the other thing...basically they should just stick with what they started with...or at least thats what i think xP

I think Cha Tae Hyun is such a sweetie.. Hahaha.. The way he acts..laughs.. it's like he's really sweet and sincere.. I dunno why.. :happy: esp when he acts stupid roles..He's so adorable.. but I don't think he's that good at singing either.. I mean I haven't really noticed..but he's an OK I guess..

Cha Tae Hyun is really cute.. MY SASSY GIRL is also a beautiful movie.. i STrOngLy recommend it ~
in that show, he just looks so blur and so funny.. right role for him..
i like the girl too.. although her sassy factor was really a bit too 'high'.. haha.. but the show was meant to be like dat wad.. :laughing:
i wun even get bored even if i watch the show more den once.. its just too good, too romantic, too good a storyline, and good directed too..
the storyline is so nice, you'll remember it and cry.. :cry: :laughing:
anyone who hasn't watched this great korean movie, should do so.. :yeah:

i think he should stick to funny roles. i watched his korean drama "into the sunlight" and maybe it was just because the story was bad but his acting wasn't very impressive.

my sassy girl is my favorite movie. it's just too good

**spoilers ahead if you haven't seen the movie**

I love this movie!!

I love all the little slapstick humor in it, like when they were on the subway playing that game to see which foot the person lands over the line, to see who gets slapped. And she slapped him when he wasn't even paying attention...hahaa

And that part when she bailed him outta jail, but beat the crap outta him. Then took him to eat noodles, the way he was eating and we could see he was all bruised up
hahahahaaaaa

And the part where she was retelling her version of 'Rain', and he was taken to be buried alive and they kept hitting him with that shovel!
hahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!!!!!

Then that other story where she was a bounty hunter, the part where they showed the final fight in the field in the rain, when she took out the 'Wanted' ad with his face on it and threw it in the air, but it landed PERFECTY on his face!!

Oh my.. esp the last part.. after opening the letter... :cry: :cry:

even that frog in the time capsule cracked me up

oh yeah...i like the bit about the shoes...where he has to wear her shoes...that should prove the extraordinary lengths go to wear something fashionable (how can you go through physical torture and look happy at the same time)

o i love that actor..hes sooooo funny...so gay looking..but tahts whay makes him funny..and u know that girl actress...she is like the only korean actress taht didnt get plastic sugery....and shes still kinda pretty...jus not that pretty..shes so pure.... i like both of them..i loved the movie too..the ending kinda sucked tho..but the part where she screams ont he mountains was so sad..i was crying...=(

TT.TT yeah that part where he had to go to the other top of the mountain and scream... and then ji hyun on the other top was screaming and crying.. :cry: That was really touching... oh god... I used up 7 tissues I think..bahahahahah :blush:

Ji Hyun character sure a unique one... to even write a story that ended like that.. :oops: How could it be sad to have your BF burried alive so that they could be together after death.. :oops:

Oh and also when she threw up in the bathroom.. Tae Hyun was like.. :wacko: He was gonna vomit too.. Tee-hee.. Oh.. I remember his cute butt though... :laughing: Covering your.. *ehmm* with a what was it a bucket or smthing.. ><;;

Actually, I know the movie "My Sassy Girl" more with the girl, Jeon Ji Hyun, than with the guy, Cha Tae Hyun. But I gotta admit he did a pretty good job on this movie, 'cuz he sure made me laugh hard hehe.

cystaltears, Jeon Ji Hyun is not the only Korean actress that didn't get plastic surgery. There are others like Jang Na Ra... or how about "All About Eve" and "All In" star Song Hae Gyo also.

And how can you not like the ending? It was so perfect. I don't think there was a better ending. Did you people know "My Sassy Girl" was based on a true Internet story? :)

Anyway, to add to the collection of funny scenes in the movie, don't forget the first part when Cha Tae Hyun first met Jeon Ji Hyun... it was ironic-funny in that she had him give his seat to the elders to give respect and she ends up barfing on the elders' head... and what's worse... poor Cha Tae Hyun had to clean it up for her lol. And when she gave that mean look... wow.

yeah.. but they most likely changed/exaggerated some things to make the movie more marketable.

its still really funny though! i gotta get the DVD sometime...

and its coming out soon!! in singapore, its coming out in 16 oct~ and i can't wait to watch it.. the storyline is just too intriguing.. it surely is as good as My sassy girl :laughing:

Whoa!!!! That means it'll be out in less than 2 weeks' time. Can't wait to catch it. I actually caught snippets of this movie on TVBS channel quite some time ago, but just couldn't find any info of this movie and didn't know when it will be out.

OMG BUY IT! it's worth it.

he is so talented. i saw a korean drama he was in, but it wasn't that great. he should stick to funny roles.

Yeahhhhh I love My Sassy Girl!! I strongly recommend it! I hear MGM is doing a American version of it, but I highly doubt that it'll be as good as the original :/ Cha Tae Hyun is so adorable in the movie, just so perfect for the role. I've never heard any of his songs though...he was a singer before he got into acting right?

he makes me laugh which is what is important to me! His singing is ok.... i mean its crap compared with oh say JAY! but its not all that bad really!
His face just cracks me up soo much! lmao!
I am trying to find as much tae-hyun stuff as i can...but so far i only have two songs :dry: but i have found loads of pictures and stuff!
And i love MSG! i could watch it once every day and not get sick of it! it's sooo....i dunno! there just arent many movies that can crack me up and make me cry at the same time!

Oh and Jeon Ji Hyun is really beautiful! and so talented but she is soo skinny! i just want to feed her! lmao!

I think poor Tae Hyun and Jeon Ji Hyun will be stuck with the sassy girl roles forever. I doubt they will ever live up to them again! everyone knows them as the tough bitch and the whipped guy!
But i think Cha Tae Hyun is a very talented actor and his singing isnt THAT bad ha ha ha

Oh, he's also back on Korean TV---his new series is set to start in July! I think the title has something to do with a "Prince". :) He's in his usual oddball comic hero role...

Yeah i think he's ok! i only have the two songs and one of them cut's out towards the end so grrrrr...... i will go shopping tomorrow and see if i can buy the albums! Ok so i will upload them and post them in the downloads forum!

As for the movie im talking about it's definitely not a sequal.... it was done by the same director and it's called windswept. Maybe we are thinking about different movies? and yeah the guy is Jang Hyuk! It's a prequal to My sassy girl i think. Tells the story of her life before MSG maybe Jang Hyuk is spose to be.... oh wait dont want to spoil the movie for you! Anyway i will say that Cha Tae-Hyun appears at the end of the movie and it kind of joins the two movies.... you will see why! he he he

Yup...Jang Hyuk is the same guy that acted with Jang Nara in the successful girl drama.

What is he doing in Bali? Anyway ... I have watched [Windstruck] and yeah, it is a prequel but it is most certainly NOT Myung Woo who is Gyun Woo's cousin. For those of you who have watched, you would know what I am talking about.

I am suspsecting that is even ANOTHER PREQUEL before [Windstruck], which might then feature Gyun Woo's cousin and hopefully, they'll bring Cha Tae Hyun back to act as the cousins are supposed to look alike. By the way, Cha Tae Hyun looked so funny in the last part where he appeared.

I watched Windstruck not long ago too. I can't say i was as impressed as i was by My Sassy Girl, but Windstruck is nice too.

I watched a movie with Chae TaeHyun not long ago, i think it was called Ero Christmas or smth like that. Movie is kinda funny, but Cha Tae Hyun is as hot as usual :love:

i totally fell in love with cha tae hyun after watching my sassy girl (like some of you here XD), because he seemed like a real guy, one of those down-to-earth people who you might actually BE standing next to in the subway and never really get to know.

it's too bad i don't know anybody like that character in real life. not many guys i know would help a random girl who had too much to drink (and actually staying with her through the night). i wonder if cha tae hyun is willing to do that off-screen :tongue: .

he's cute like a teddy bear you can SQUEEEEZEEEE :D !! i'd totally abuse him if i knew him for real (as in, not in my fantasies o.o).

ps. i must say when i saw the chinese version of the Sour Starburst commercial, i thought the guy playing "Jimmy" was cha tae hyun o.o. they were so alike in character (i'd recognize his face-reaction to getting slapped anywhere. it happens so often in My Sassy Girl).
