what magazines do you like to read?

i like us weekly in touch and people,how about you?i guess that twist is okay for a teen magazine but i don't like to read those kind of magazines i prefer celebrity talk like us weekly my all time fav.or do you prefer monday tvb milk?

I can't miss an issue of "Men's Health" myself, purely because it's a very good read. "Motor" and "Wheels" are also high quality magazines, tho I can't say I'm a regular reader.

the magazines i read are Dolly, Milk, I used to buy YES magazines but i dun thinkit suits me. I like looking at astrology, skin tips, a little bit of the gossip and fashion tips of trends that are popular in hk..............

Hmm, Men's Health is a must, Motor and Wheels are good boring lecture material, and we got a magazine called "Home - Lifestyle" magazine, which is jam packed with the best home style, expensive luxury homes and great furniture! Recommended!

LIME magazine every month... LIME mag is a must-read cos it has a lot of news on celebrities, true-life stories that u can reflect on, dressing tips for guys and gals...

Two thumbs up for Men's Health.
I read Dub, Import Tuner, Motor Trend, and Lowrider for work and because I enjoy them.
Other magazines I read for entertainment and knowlege include Newsweek, BusinessWeek, Guns&Ammo, Grappling, and others I can't think of right now.
It's funny how I read more now that I'm not in school :laughing:

i think esquire should be something that everyone reads. many times it has very deep articles, such as in the last issue it touched upon the unspoken subject of identifying the ppl who jumped out of the towers on 9/11. thinking about it brings me to tears.

english : time *helps me pass my current affairs pop quizes.
chinese : i actually buy if there are nice pictures and interesting articles. -- play?!

English language : Vogue, Vanity Fair, Esquire, sometimes takes a peek at GQ, Architectural Digest. Always prefer the US version, never like the Australian or UK version.

I sometimes read Heat magazine, but im not all that interested in english tv and music so i dont want to know about celebrity gossip. Its hard to find chinese magazines in newcastle, so my family in HK send them to me, im not sure what they are called but i just look out for pictures of Jay, and then i have to make my way through the article trying to understand the chinese! :oops:

My favourites magazines are Lime and Galaxie :excited: (especially Galaxie).I bought Galaxie almost every month...love it! It features not just western celebrities but asian as well.They have this column entitled "Bollywood" which features all the south indian and north indian actors and actresses.It's kinda cool coz some indian actors are really good looking.. :bleh: And when they featured Jay's concert in Malaysia a few months back..i actually bought 2 copies of it! :D

I like to read U weekly....it's an entertainment magazine from Singapore...a lot of news on various pop....

Other than that, it will be CD Hits. This is a magazine from Japan, it's a monthly magazine and updates me about the new releases in the Jpop scene. Btw, this month's issue is Ayumi Hamasaki~ :happy:

i used to read all those teenage magazines like YM, Seventeen, and Teen People... don't read them anymore... so much advertisements on things that i can't afford :dry: ... those magazines are bad for teenagers... it gives the wrong image on how ppl should look like and dress :-x

anyway, i like to read SmartComputing (i think that's the right title) now... i like how it gives reviews on new items that comes out... there are many tips on how to troubleshoot your computer and it's programs also.

I like the column, dear kelly, which teenagers with problem would wrote to her, and kelly would give them advise and help to solve their worries! I think I learnt alot from it, since these problems r from teenagers like us!

Cosmopolitan - the women's bible! I have to read it every month.

I also read some Chinese magazines once in a while. If I go to Chicago Chinatown I'll buy a few, but I only go like twice or thrice a year, so... Sometimes my co-workers would buy them too, so I get to read those as well.

I don't read too many "intellectual" magazines because I already have too much reading assignments for my classes!

Australian Cosmopolitan. I subscribe to it and I can honestly say it's the best magazine for girls around my age.

But I just wish they'd put guys on the cover, not girls. I mean, guys' magazines have females on the cover so where's the logic???

The only magazine I read on a regular basis is Time magazine, and I'm always excited on Tuesdays 'cause that's the day on which the mag is usually delivered to my house.

I would read The Economist but it's too expensive.

Other magazines I read... well, nothing much. I don't believe in spending money on entertainment magazines; waste of money. Unless, of course, Jielun is on the cover or something. :)

i used to like lime too but now i don't read it anymore. the more i read it, the more i thought its contents are tasteless. especially the interviews. all those people that they interview just don't interest me enough to read it. i usually buy lime because of the cover. i bought it once because of justin timberlake, but i was disppointed by its cover story. i would rather buy 8 days. other than that, i also read cleo, female and men's health.

Until now, I subscribe Fruits, Zappy and Japan NewType!
They are straight come from Japan!
1>Fruits is magazine about "Harajuku Free Style," loaded with photos of the fashionable young people who walk around Japan's young culture capital, Harajuku. There are all the fashions that young people are wearing now, from imported jeans to cute tops with funny English on them to hair styles and more.
2>Zappy is magazine about JPOP & J-Rock, come with a CD of music & messages from the booming stars right now in Japan!
And 3>Japan NewType is about anime that are coming out new in Japan!
That's all! I still paid with US $! So that's fine to me. Even I'm in U.S.A right now, I can still know the new fashion in Japan! They are cute! I love them all! :love:

HK/Taiwan/Jap mags that write gossips and news of celebs from these countries. Milk is a gd mag that have updates of the latest fashion trend.

I do read abt Cleo & Lime bought by my sis. Sometimes it is pretty nice to read ladies' mags! Hmm.. pick up some tips and info from the mags each time I read... :wink2:

oo I use to spend a lot of money buying/subscribing Teen magazines too.. until after I realized it's such a waste of money :oops: Now the only ones I buy are Teen Vogue.. the others, I just read them in the school library :tongue: The Chinese ones.. American Magazines? I love YM and Seventeen and those teen magazines. They're great when you're bored.

It gives me something to do while I'm supposed to be studying for finals (like now).

Every month, I have to have my copy of Preview, a local fashion and beauty magazine available in the Philippines. Every once in a while I get a copy of our local version of Cosmopolitan. And also, my month is not complete without a copy of T3 Philippines, a gadgets magazine which originated from UK.

If the cover story is interesting enough for me, I also buy Time Magazine. And when I have the chance, I also purchase HK's Cosmogirl. I love the fashion pieces, tips and most especially the freebies! And some other random Chinese celebrity magazines like Play. I'm usually after the celebrities on the cover; if they're interesting enough for me, I buy the magazines. Can't just live without my regular dose of Chinese entertainment news and gossip! :D

I seldom read overseas magazine cuz everytime i see something i like, i never get to buy it! but i think cosmogirl is quite interesting...and what's even better that we have a hong kong version of Cosmogirl! it was great when they had my favorite magazine localised! now i can always visit the shops when i see something nice in the mag!

they're about the only ones i read.....i steer clear from those brightly coloured teen mags......not my thing.
