i think what i really like about themis their style, not like the usual jpop/rock that you hear but its more of a variety. and whenever i listen to them, i cant help but be all hyper and energized! lol

the first song i heard/saw the pv for was shanghai honey and it was so funny! hehe and i started listening to their other stuff, which is okay but there are a few songs like asterick and their new single kitzune (sp?) that i really really like

oh j/w are you like a huge orange range fan? coz i've been having trouble figuring out who is who.. mostly because all of the pix i find of them have all of them in it.. anyways i was wondering if you could help me figure out who's who?

Oo I'm not a huge Orange range fan yet, actually I don't know much about them, but I would love to know them better! I absolutely love Asterisk! It was the opening song for the jap anime Bleach! so since then I've been on the hunt for some more songs, I've heard a couple others like Love Parade, and this other one. Kizuna is their new song huh? I'll have to go do some searching! Any songs that can be recommended?

Oh and plus nobody's mentioned Hana (Flower) that was the end song to the 2004 film 'Ima Ai'. Such a beautiful film, and a beautiful song too! Whoever the main vocalist is, I like his voice! :happy:

I'm in the middle of dl their album Musiq - Locomotion - lol Reminds me back to Kylie Minogue days. Hana is on this album, so I'm looking forward to listening to that for the first time!

Well, at first, he had an injury to his arm. Then about a month later, while still healing. He announced his leave because the band was changing too much. They were so Okinawan Rocking back then, now it's all just pop...mostly just to please the audience.

aww and i just realized that katchan was my fave too... ryo the rapper is cool, and i like hiroki.. he has good stage presence :D

i heard that katchan left because of "creative differences".. im guessing it wont be long before we hear from him as a solo artist??

Katchan Quits Orange Range

Orange Range's popular drummer Katchan (22) has quit the group. He dropped out of a tour in June, citing an injury to his hand, but the reason given for quitting was the old cliche, "artistic differences." He said that the time off had given him time to think about his career, and the decision was said to be agreed with the other members. The band will continue with its remaining five members, using a session drummer. They plan to go ahead with their scheduled appearance at the Summer Sonic festival on August 13. One of the biggest names in the young rock/hip hop scene and yet another to hail from Okinawa, Orange Range were the biggest selling artists of 2004. Katchan was perhaps the most popular member, and was chosen in a recent music show poll of young women as the artist they would most like to go to the seaside with.

its been only recently that i got into orange range. At first, i thought they kind of sucked. Well, because to me, their music was too simple and i hought 3 vocalists were unnecessary. Then i tried to listen to them again with an open-mind, and got hooked. I guess its the carthiness of the songs that got me.

orange range.. i love these guy's music.. indie stuff is not that great i have to admit but songs from musiQ and ИATURAL are great really good. Best songs are Hana, Asterisk and Kizuna. I have all their music so if you want request via PM and i should be able to get it :D

The only song I've heard so far has been *~Asterisk... that's an awesome song, even though I found it by way of Bleach. But I love the rap part in *~Asterisk... too bad I don't understand Japanese.
I don't really get what *~Asterisk's meaning is though... anyone wanna clarify? They're talking about the stars or something?
