Has anyone been watching this drama series?

I find it a very long and eventful drama...
I never misses it unless i have to return to Malaysia... :happy:
It is about 40-50 episodes now if i am not wrong...
I hate BaoZhu (Pearl)...she is so bossy...
I like BaoBei (Darling)..she is simply too humble

I am really interested to know how you people here think about this show... :wink2:

Dayang's role is as a boy with low IQ...so we cannot blame him for being irritating...haha :happy:

i must say, as much as i'm super irritated by baozhu, i have to take my hat off to cynthia koh for acting so well. by the way, its not the end even though they say theres 5 episodes left. this series is split into 2, 60 episodes this time, and theres a 40 episodes sequel. some inside info. *grin*

I find the show erm.. quite boring. Dayang is absolutely irritating, "mei ren yu, mei ren yu" :wacko:
I clapped quitely when the Fyn and Dahai saga was over, well almost over.
I felt like throwing my shoe when ruan mian mian says, " wo... wo.. wo... wo.. wo.. wo.. wo..." :-x

there are three characters which are simply irritating..Fyn, Bao Zhu and Da Qiu..so cunning and evil..the way Bao Bei acts..i thought shes a bit slow(retarded) like Da Yang. .. (** sorry no offense) ..haha :oops:

though i really can't stand dayang's character, i really have to hand it to [b]pierre pngp/b]. hes a really fine actor, i must say. for one i know hes pretty "garang" and macho in real life and to top it off hes not a chinese speaking person, and he really pulled off the dimwit real well. so boo to dayang but kudos to pierre.

i watch this drama series on and off but have been watching it recently. The storyline is pretty common, about family problems and relationships. I do not like any characters as all of them irks me.
I hate
Da Yang for his irritating behaviour.
Da Qiu and Bao Zhu for their greediness of money.
Bao Bei for her undecisive mind.
Fyn for her viciousness.
Blahblahblah..the list goes on..

Wait..why should i even care? It's just another drama series. =P

the 9 pm show is called meng zai shou li..starring Bai wei xiu, shen qing shan etc..theres one guy from Hong Kong..acted in Zhen QIng..dun remember his name.. :P
anyway..the thing about this show is that..they showed too much of the sponsors..for instance...in the show..they made michelle Xie worked in Citigems cause it was one of the sponsor..so they will be showing the shop often and how beautiful their things were.. haiz..and Marigold ice-cream as well..i saw a few times Bai Wei Xiu eating the ice-cream..wow..is that how she maintained her figure??hahahaa

This show is soooo funny! My bro watches it (out of boredom I hope and not because he genuinely likes it) and sometimes after dinner I'd sit down in the living room and laugh at the show. The acting is bad, the scripting is horrendous, it's so typically Channel 8-esque that, honestly, I'm not the slightest bit surprised. It's my comic relief. Everything is so predictable that it becomes totally hilarious.

That aside, I think Dayang is soooo cute. Haha, I think I'm crazy.

i'm starting to like Adrian Pang alot. I think his acting is real convincing and hes really into character. i roll up with laughter everytime he gets all anal about someone messing up that weird hair of his. did you guys know Adrian was actually doing some acting in Hollywood before he came back to Singapore? well apparently so, but i'm not sure. i really don't like Felicia Chin, but maybe, we should cut her some slack for shes only just started acting and has only done a couple of serials thus far, but i find her really raw, i don't enjoy watching her on screen at all.

ha3...i watched it yesterday too..but due to the exam fever, did not concentrate much on it...

When i heard that both Daqiu and Baozhu's child was named Jie Lun, i was so shocked and was immediately staring at the television...my reaction was pretty slow as i would say, 5 mins later then i figured out that their child's name was Zhou Jie Lun...so shocked by that!

Maybe Jay is famous and therefore they are using his name to get more viewers bahz...this show really irritated many viewers...Now there are two poor characters in this show, a low IQ brother, Dayang, a senile mother, Tian Yi...these two character are poor things...haiz...my family was pretty irritated by these characters, making the show draggy :wacko: ...

I so much prefer the show before this, i wonder what show is it in English...in chinese it is shi zi chang long...so nice, i really like it alot...romantic and action pack :nunchuks: i hope there's a number two to this and not portrait of home...

I didn't really follow this drama serial but a few days back when i was watching, i saw Jie Lun as BaoZhu and Daqiu's son's name. And after reading a few posts earlier i only realised that their surname is Zhou which makes it Zhou Jie Lun. I guess the scriptwriters purposely did that to attract some attention haha. When i heard BaoZhu calling her son's name a few days back i was choking on my rice and looked up on the TV screen. haha. :D

Haha, Jay's special appearance on the last ep would be a big big thing. I guess the viewership ratings will shoot all time high then haha. :bleh:

I got a feeling that Tian jie is acting blur in the drama as she sometimes remember her son and sometimes don't.

Abt fairytale shows, i find that Mediacorp seldom does that. First thing, Mediacorp does not film "Ou Xiang Ju" not like Taiwan where there are so many to choose from. Perhaps it's also the lack of young actresses and actors.

But luckily, Channel U is bringing in some nice "Ou Xiang Ju" like "Wang Zi Bian Qing Wa" and the upcoming S.H.E series "Zhen Ming Tian Nu". Lets hope for better drama serials!

I didn't really follow this drama serial but a few days back when i was watching, i saw Jie Lun as BaoZhu and Daqiu's son's name. And after reading a few posts earlier i only realised that their surname is Zhou which makes it Zhou Jie Lun. I guess the scriptwriters purposely did that to attract some attention haha. When i heard BaoZhu calling her son's name a few days back i was choking on my rice and looked up on the TV screen. haha. :D

I felt really happy to see Daqiu got cheated, maybe he will change his attitude after this change, I think Xinmin may be bad, but she does not have a bad intention in doing so...
