Ring on Jay's finger on cover of Ye Hui Mei

Does anyone else see that big ring on Jay's finger on the cover of his new cd. AND it just happens to be on his ring finger! :crazy: On the back of the cover, he's looking at the ring in a sad sorta of way...

are u trying to imply that he's taken i.e. as in not single or that he's thinking of a past love? i think you're reading way too much into this. it's just for fashion, style. i'm sure you've worn a ring on your ring finger just for the heck of it..... why can't he?

yup..i agree with x_tina.. i think it's just a matter of style..and there's nothing to be afraid of..he said he's still single in the last GMA so..i think the ring is only for fashion.lots of italian use a ring in their fingers..but it represent nothing..except the marriage ones..probably Jay just look for their style..

i think it was a ring cuz its a ring lol......i don't think it meant nething even tho it was on his ring finger......and plus that ring really fit in with the rest of the feeling of the album..so i don't think there is a major issue on that ring...

i think it may be his mother's ring. it might not be her wedding ring but it can be the ring that his mother like to wear. so, he might think it reminds him of his mother when he sees that ring. i dont know what i'm saying now. :wacko: confused about my lauguage. better go

Well, the Cd cover was meant to look classical. (iunno classical shanghainese? that's my impression) and preppy. ( in a good way) maybe ppl like that wear (cool) rings. It looks good on him. Maybe he wanted to look mature and married (eek). it looks good on him. gg him. that's all

a friend of mine told me the ring that jay was sporting on the covers of ye hui mei was his mother's wedding ring. kinda makes sense u know, the album being named after her, her ring on the front... maybe he's looking at it with a sad expression because his parents broke up when he was a weeny kid and the wedding ring reminded him of when they were still together...

yea his mommie probably gave him the ring. it should be pretty important to him cus i saw him wearing the ring in the mtv asia aid concert when he was playing the piano and he wore that ring a few times in some interviews and other shows ive seen him in.
