OK, i know the title is kind of confusing but heres what i need to say/ask: So i saw this show on channel 68 KVTC or KCVT or something like that the logo is like these 3 colors....yeah.. and it was like this american idol show , but chinese people, and its only cantonese! Its like these people come and sing, the judges listen. Each judge has a little bell and the ring it when they had enough or your singing. So then the timer stops and the amount of time you suvived on the stage is multiplied with a number and you get that much money! SOme of the judges were like andy lau, and some other famouse ones! I was wondering if there are more shows like that shows on tv in america! lol so confusing? sorry! well, also if any of you know what i'm talking about, the show is called something something(i couldn't really catch it, my cantonese is bad) DING (lol) yeah.. Its coming to america!!!
and also, do any of you guys know what time it comes on? cuase i forgot.. T_T
sorry if this is so confusing and all you like wtf... :rasp:

azn channel is really bad, the bes they have is korean dramas like winter sonata. They almost never show music and it's really hard to even find a time when they have people who speak chinese, it seems mostly geared towards japanese/korean. But I know somebody who worked at mtv chi and they said that a certain area of california (southern area?) can get mtv chi for free (normally you have to pay for it with some special directtv package)

i think there was this one another channel. channel 60-ish for me. it was all in japanese, they showed anime on it sometimes. jeez, i wish they had a channel for asian music videos.

does azn channel have korean music?

puukiness: that sounds an awful lot like "Cao Ji Nuu Sheng" which I adore.

I wish I could get Chinese channels for free, but I barely get any english channels ==+

all I know is that they have a lot more asian TV channels in the LA area than in northern CA..and there's no free 24 hour asian channel as far as I know

and besides azn channel (is it called azn TV?), theres this other one, imaginasian...which is prolly just as bad. their radio station isn't anything too special, either...

jeannie- i think you're talking about "azn television". yeah, they have korean music. late at night they show a mix of music videos from korea, japan, thailand, the philppines. for whatever reason, i dont see much chinese stuff on there. they're play my lovely sam soon right now though :D

i'm uber jealous of the people who get mtvchi for free ):

The only Asian channels I have is a Korean channel (48 I think), which I do not watch, and LA-18 which only has good stuff on when it is inconvenient. They used to air Hey! Hey! Hey! MUSIC CHAMP on Saturdays, but they stopped. >__< I think Hey!x3 is on the "Azn Tv" thing everyone is talking about now, though. LA-18 has played some good stuff like the Taiwanese version of Hana Kimi. They also played the dramas Gokusen 1-2, Hana Yori Dango, and Dragon Zakura. I only liked Gokusen 1 and Hana Yori Dango though. I have no idea what they are playing nowadays.
