[Puzzle] Addictive SUDOKU!

I'm surprised no one has started this thread about the uber fun geeky game Sudoku! It's usually found in newspapers etc. and my friends and I love it...I see people everywhere doing it! here's how it goes:

what you have to do is 'simple' arrange the numbers 1-9 in EACH 3x3 square and then in EACH WHOLE COLUMN and EACH WHOLE ROW

there is no mathematical way in doing it, just logic :wink2: there is always only ONE set of answers for each puzzle. level of difficulty ranges from kids, gentle, moderate and difficult...this one should be moderate; took me 30 minutes!

once you get the hang of it, it's really fun! for clues and hints go to www.sudoku.com and if anyone likes it I'm more than happy to post up more with answers!

my hint is that you should never guess and make assumptions, and always derive your answers logically. copy the puzzle onto a large piece of paper so you can make scribbles and adjustments with pencil.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! I love this game!
I've been constantly filling in daily SuDoku puzzles for ages now, and I reckon that puzzle up there is a tad bit too easy, D!

man, this japanese puzzle is soo popular now and so addictive too. even in classes i see my classmates filling in those numbers in the square.

i have been playing weekly in the strait times(the newspaper in singapore)
This is quiet addictive...when i play this in class i didn even bother what teacher talking untill i have finish doing

this game is wicked!!! i play it so often and it's terrible cuz it's free in a free newspaper so all i gota do is pick it up in the mornings...... yea my friends play in class to and the teacher's like "put that away NOW!" meh *shrugs*

I've seen this game on newspapers since September.. when my friend always played it during lectures. She always tried explaining to me but I never got it. Then just few weeks ago, my older brother taught me.. and I just started playing it a few days ago online. I have to say it IS addicting! I love to play it when I get bored from reading and I am hoping it'll enhance my logic skills :D I am still not skilled enough to play the newspaper ones.. but hopefully soon! :happy:

i love sudoku! i got a entire book full of them from my sister's birthday party and have been addicted to them ever since. they were hard at first but after a few i got the hang of it and was so much fun. i'm still horrible at them, but i like them!

AWESOME!! this game is sssooo fun and addicting i spend hours playing it sometimes!! i got all my friends into it and almost got in trouble at work for playing it so much... there's a new 16x16 that's even harder!!!

I'm not into it though I should probably try. Haha.
I tried it only once, and that was half heartedly too. I got annoyed after a while and didn't bother anymore. :tongue:

I do know people who are really addicted to it though.

I love this game okay.. I think it's inherited from my dad.. He recently bought this new sudoku, and he is like hooked on to that machine.. For me, I just do the sudoku found in the free newspaper everyday.. It's really fun.. But after I finish one sudoku, I feel as if I have been brainwashed.. lolz
