It's just.
Well, he's obviously a smart guy. And he's such a huge part of every Jay Album. And he seems sensitive. And he writes like god.
I heard that he wrote AI ZAI XI YUAN QIAN for his girlfriend after they went to a museum on a date.

Agree! hey, ain't he the one who was in Jay's 'The One' concert playing guitar or sth....cant remember the face very well...
He reminds me of one Malaysian lyricist name Loloq... they've the same taste of words. Very DEEP and sometimes ununderstandable. But very educational. :yeah:

I don't mean to sound.. well.. let's just cut to the chase but he looks nerdy! I was expecting someone dark, mysterious, and handsome, seeing how all his lyrics are so deep and soulful.. ;D But I can see how someone can fall in love with him.. no doubt he's good with words.
Btw, this is not a Jay Question so this topic is moved to Other Artists and maybe it can become a discussion about Vincent Fang and not just his looks.. =)

He's had an image change. he now sports a mustache and some stubble....kinda of like someone who's so involved in his music tt he has no time to shave...hehe.
errrrrrrm. trying to picture mustache on vincent.
really. i'm all for the nerdy ppl cus the nerdy look is only accessoried. the classes and the shirts. change that and the hair and u dont know what's hiding beneath.
although. i'm not sure if moustache is a great way to ...... hmmmmm...... anyone got a picture??

It's not a clear pic coz I took it from tv when he was nominated for LYRICIST OF THE YEAR in GMA 2003.
He looks different from sUm^MeR's pic. It seems like his eyes are bigger!?

err...louislpk, that book in ur avatar is written by Fang Wen Shan...Jay only posed in it. the poems in it were ALL written by Fang Wen Shan.
he's coming up with a 2nd book...

yup, i believe so. jay mentioned it once in an article or interview... i forget when. :oops:
and i totally agree with what most of you have said about vincent's lyrical writing skills. he's definitely got a way with words. it totally stretches your imagination and just completely wows you how he comes up with certain concepts. you just wouldn't expect certain words to belong together, but they do. it's simply beautiful and he seems to do it with such ease. i think he's an awesome partner for writing lyrics to jay's music. :yeah:

i've looked for this bk for a year now, and i still can't find it. (i'm in australia) i went to KL to find it and asked a few friends to help me get it a few times but without success.. i hope i could get it at the end of they year.
his 2nd bk? what is it like? any ideas? i tried searching but couldn't find any news :(

his book has poems he wrote, and lyrics he wrote for jay and other artistes. Jay posed in it coz they are friends i guess....some poems are pretty interesting....

if anyone has a description of his background, that would really open the door to his inspiration and mind. where he gets the ideas for his lyrics since they are unusual. all that soppy lovey dovey stuff rhetoric goes out quickly so his standout lyrics about different places,themes, people really pulls one in. he is to hong kong's lin xi who has teamed with faye wong on numerous song lyrics. has he always been famous or did he shoot to fame when he became jay's writeman.

actually i dont think vincent fang has this really pleasant look. no offence.
however, i think he's a really incredible lyricist. i really love all the lyrics he made! it had always touched my heart and made me understand the story BEHIND it which is real cool (:

Ahh, the first photo that ppl have posted in this thread is honestly the BEST pic I have seen of him. And yes, he was next to Jay in the Wai Po MV. His hair is so... weird. I like his nerdy look better.
But Vincent is very impressive with lyrics... one of a kind, I should sum up as this.

LOLz isn't Vincent Fang the one who appears in Jay's Wai Po MV and star in his Shan Hu Hai MV? His face is the clearest in Jay's Shan Hu Hai MV... I do have to admit that he's not very good looking... despite the fact that he writes such beautiful lyrics.
I used to think Vincent Fang was Jay's cousin :oops:

In one of his concerts, Jay forgot the lyrics and complained mid-song that Fang's lyrics were too complicated, I thought that was just classic. Its always fun to mess around with people. But the picture just shows the difference between idol image and the background supporters...sad?
