"Ni Ting De Dao" played backwards

Has anyone else discovered this? I read about this on Jaywife.

If you play "Ni Ting De Dao" backwards, you can hear Jay say "zhi you ni neng ting de dao" (only you can hear) @ around 1:36. Ahh it's so cool! If you play that part in normal mode, Jay sounds like he's mumbling "na ni na ni no...". I think Jay said that he had a lot of other surprises/bonuses in this album. :]

Note for computer dummies like myself: I think you need some program to play songs backwards. They're available for download all over the internet so just go search for one on google. I downloaded the first thing I saw - GoldWave.

my IT savvy friend just taught me a method on how to listen the song backwards...

first get a WAV format of the song, use the Microsoft Sound Recorder (found in ur accessories folder) to play. choose "reverse" under the "effects" menu. you can hear the lyrics tt he distorted around 97 secs.

at first i didn't believe wat he said, after trying out, i wonder why he so... erm...boh liao...haha

yeah, i heard about this backwards thing from the fans over at the alfa music forum. didn't understand initially what i was supposed to use until i figured out it meant "sound recorder". you guys can convert mp3 to wav with "musicmatch jukebox" if you got it, after ripping off the track from your CD. people thought that jay forgot the lyrics or something around 2:10 into the song. heehee... :bleh: i heard that on a TV interview, fans asked him about it. he said that he wanted a part in the song where only "he could hear" it. didn't know the fans would notice. haha... :laughing: but we did! so, i think the backwards thing was intentional. :) jay's so innovative with his music, eh? anyway, i think someone else already posted the procedure with the use of "sound recorder" and there's a link above for swf. happy listening!

but not only do you have to say the words backwards, you also have to make the pronounciation backwards too....which is damn hard!! Otherwise it wouldn't say 只有你能聽得到 when you play it in reverse.

I think Jay must have used some mixing software program to do it...

convert to wav. file, then go to "sound recorder" under accessories folder.

Simply select "reverse" (under the "effects" menu) and there you go...it's so simple...

J/w, I heard the song in reverse and has jay confirmed that he intentionally put in a reverse lyrics? Or is this all hypothetical and coincidence? Kinda how like if people believe in something enough they begin to hear it? Har... I didn't even pay attention to that part until I came across this thread. My ears have already been very well-trained by Jay to accept his unintelligible lyrics. I don't go like, "what?! I don't get this..." anymore. I'm used to his mumbling and sometimes jumbling of 3-4 words into 1 syllable. So, I just don't QUESTION his lyrics or how he sings them anymore!

Anyhow, it's really cool how this was done. My first reaction was, "How naughty, Jay!" Haha... Pulling a "prank" like that... It's quite fun though. :) I never really dare to listen to songs backwards because I remember when I was younger and still attended church every Sunday, I'd been told many times that some lyrics contained the messages of the devil when played backwards. Eww... And I've also read somewhere that it could be a very powerful hypnotic tool! I don't really believe in god anymore, but I'm still not going to try and play songs backwards.

I didn't know that! I just thought Jay was mumbling more than usual and after pondering about it for a few times I dismissed it. Maybe he got the idea from satanic music? Coz I heard my mom say some satanic people will record demonic messages and reverse them to make songs.
