Welcome! About Full House...It's AWESOME! I love it. You'll love it. It's one of the best lighthearted Korean dramas I've seen...you'll love Bi and Song Hyegyo, you'll just fall in love with them!

Teresa, they were performing Nan Arayo, an old Seo Taiji song. the ppl on the screen behind them are the original band. ^^ different versions will come with translated lyrics, a biography etc...yesasia just tend to be a bit slow with stocking them >< they tend to be more expensive too..id always go for the korean original. unless the HK version comes with a vcd or something pretty =x

Rain's Tokyo Concert Sold Out In 30 Seconds

Korea Superstar, Rain, has achieved a "30 Seconds Miracle" in Japan.

Rain will perform on July 30th and 31st his "Rainy Day Tour" at the Japanese Tokyo International Center. The admission tickets were to be sold officially on June 11th at 10 AM, and after 30 seconds, the concert was sold out.

In reality, the admission tickets were under pre-order at the end of May and were gaining great popularity, and the admission tickets for the two performances were sold out officially 30 seconds after the 10 AM, which surprises many people.

A Japanese staff member excitedly said that, "Including other Korean stars who are popular in Japan, many other international superstars has performed in Japan. But selling out after 30 seconds was the first time for me."

This tickets will be very high priced in the black market. And additional performances at Osaka on August 3rd and 4th will likely to be very popular as well.

From this popularity, Rain's representative company, JYP Corporation, will prepare for other large-scale concerts in Japan.

This year, Rain had performed in "MTV Asia Aid", and won at Japan's MTV Video Music Award and Thailand's Channel V Thailand Award. And his stardom is gaining in Asia.

Okay I just found this clip of him doing this concert so I can answer this question. While he was singing, he opened up his shirt (this concert girls are screaming like crazy and he teases the audience, loving the attention <---el grand dorko and his ego) and it starts raining on the stage (stage effect). If my stupid computer will ever work, *kicks monitor* you guys will be able to see this. He is so full of himself in this performance, it's unbelievable, but cute.

And I found another clip of him at the Rainy Day Concert. Rain Gets Ready to Pour It On

In the last three years since starting out as a back-up dancer for singer Park Ji-yoon, Rain has show K-pop nothing but nonstop action.
His first song, ``Bad Guy (Napun Namja),'' was a sensation that took him to all the major local award ceremonies, many of which honored him with best new artist awards.

His following recording efforts didn't fail to deliver. ``How to Run From the Sun (Taeyangul Pihanun Pangbop),'' his first single from the sophomore recording, and ``It's Raining'' from his third album of the same title dominated the charts at No. 1 for weeks.

So it is pretty much safe to say Rain's career has been heading in only one direction _ up.

Geographically, the situation is a bit more complicated as his career has taken the singer everywhere. With Korea pretty much covered, last year Rain officially started to make his way into Japan to the east and China to the west.

Just last month Rain performed alongside American diva Mariah Carey and Japanese superstar Amuro Namie at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2005, held at NK Hall in Tokyo.

Not only was he invited as a performing artist but the 23-year-old singer was there to pick up the ``Best Buzz Asia from Korea'' award.

With the exception of J-pop outfits, Rain was the only other singer from the Asian region. The line-up that night included Ashanti, Hoobastank and Jamiroquai.

Rain performed ``It's Raining,'' the title track from his most recent album.

Other international guest artists in the show include American singer Ashanti and rock band Hoobas Tank, and British band Jamiroquai.

Hong Kong-based daily Mingbao, reported in April that the results to an online poll showed that Chinese Internet users ranked Rain the fifth most popular South Korean celebrity. Actors Song Seung-hun and Bae Yong-joon were among those ranked ahead of him.

``What I've learned from my experiences performing is that I can't be performing lost in the thought that `Oh. I am hot,''' he told the Yonhap News Agency in an interview backstage of the recent MTV Video Music Awards Japan. ``What I do is try to get the party started by working with the audience.'' :shifty: <-- he sure knows how to work my heart :love:

Rain had already been honored with a guest spot at MTV Asia Aid earlier this spring.

Having pocketed two MTV honors already all he needs is to score at next month's MTV Music Video Awards China to be the first Asian performer to achieve a grand slam.

Rain said that he plans to work hard but his hopes are high.

``Being the first Asian MTV grand slammer would guarantee my popularity here. My chances of making appearances on American MTV would then be greater,'' he said.

Rain is currently recording his next album, set for release in November according to his agency, JYP Entertainment.

The album will be released simultaneously in South Korea and Japan. However, unlike his Japanese debut album, ``It's Raining,'' his second album up for release, will include some different tracks from the one that will hit local record stores.

In the meantime, the singer is set to go to China, where he will hold a showcase and a news conference on July 1 in Beijing, timed with the Chinese release of ``It's Raining.'' He will then head to Hong Kong for another showcase and news conference on July 3.

Then, Rain will go to Japan for concerts in Tokyo on July 30 and 31 and in Osaka on Aug. 3 and 4.

All 11,000 tickets to the Tokyo leg of his ``Rainy Day'' tour sold out in under 30 seconds when the box office opened on the morning of June 10.

His Osaka concerts look as if they will sell out soon said JYP Entertainment.

Rain, who has given impressive performances in two TV dramas, ``Sangduya Haggyo Kaja'' in 2003 and ``Full House'' in 2004, has chosen his next acting role.

Rain will star opposite Ko So-young in the miniseries ``Motoen Sarang,'' which is slated to premiere in September on MBC.

Given the fact that his performance in Full House won him with the Best Actor Award at the KBS Acting Awards, fans are already wondering how Rain will portraying his character, the rich pompous Yong-ki, who falls in love with In-jong (Ko).

Singer Rain, who has recently emerged as a new Asian star following his success in Japan, is now poised to establish his presence in China and Hong Kong, where he will tour starting from July. He will sell the license to his third album, entitled “It’s Raining,” to the Chinese record distribution company Sungmun Culture Corporation, and hold a showcase and press conference in Beijing, China on July 1. Rain had previously sold the license to his second album, “How to Avoid the Sun,” in China as well.

On July 3, the singer will fly to Hong Kong to stage a showcase of his third album as well as a press conference. The license to the album “It’s Raining” will be sold via the Hong Kong company Universal Record. Rain’s popularity in Hong Kong has soared since the KBS series “Full House,” starring the artist, aired in that country.

"Aside from the showcase of his album, Rain will also participate in various promotion events including the Hallyu Culture Festival. He is also very likely to go to Japan straight from Hong Kong to record his second full-length album targeting the Japanese audience due for release on July 11. He plans to rehearse his new songs that were written by Japanese songwriters," said JYP Entertainment, Rain’s agency.

Actually my friend that I'm staying with called me, and I BEGGED her to come with me to this showcase/ press conference. She finally agreed. Haha at first when I told her one of my favorite singers is coming to Hong Kong, she screams "Whaaaaaa??? JJJJAAAAYYY?! She seemed kind of disappointed after I told her no, and further more that he was just there. (she wasn't in HK at that time)

Got a short news about Bi from the local tabloid (lots of local tabloid giving Bi news nowadays :D )

Rain will released his live album called Rain's First Live Concert: Rainy Day. This special album will consist 2 DVDs and 1 remix CD consist of 19 live recorded songs, 4 remix and a clip from Rain 1st concert and behind the scene. Also you'll got all his MVs and the making of the MVs and the Rain History video and of course the photo gallery.

Asian Fans from Six Countries Throw Birthday Party

Some 2,500 ardent fans from Korea and the five Asian countries of Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Philippines will gather in the Gwangundae Culture Hall in Nowon-gu, Seoul on June 25 to congratulate singer Rain on his 23rd birthday.

A large group of reporters from various Asian countries are also expected to visit Korea that day to cover the party, attesting to the unrivaled popularity of Rain in Asia.

During the party, Rain will cut his birthday cake, and his fans will hold a variety of events for their favorite singer, such as finding out who his ideal woman is, performances by fans, and the reading of letters by Rain and his fans.

The singer will also sing his hit songs from his third album, including ¡°Me,¡± ¡°You Know¡± and ¡°It¡¯s Raining,¡± and video clips showing his overseas concerts will be shown on a large screen.

Rain¡¯s agency JYP Entertainment said it has been flooded with requests from foreign journalists to allow them to cover the party, and projected the party to become a large-scale event attended by many Asian fans.

Following his success in Japan, Rain is now poised to launch the promotion of his album in China starting from July. yep, quality is lower with the 350mb file, and I find that the frame size is smaller too. but it's still good to watch....it has no effect whatsoever on those shower scenes, if that's what you're worried about. :whistle:

I read in another fansite that he was going to have the double eyelid surgery, but the doctor said that he 'was sexy as he was' and told him not to get it. haha, even the doctor can't resist his charms! Bi went on to say he was thankful to the doctor for telling him not to get it.

Asian Fans from Six Countries Throw Birthday Party for Rain

Some 2,500 ardent fans from Korea and the five Asian countries of Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Philippines will gather in the Gwangundae Culture Hall in Nowon-gu, Seoul on June 25 to congratulate singer Rain on his 23rd birthday.

A large group of reporters from various Asian countries are also expected to visit Korea that day to cover the party, attesting to the unrivaled popularity of Rain in Asia.

During the party, Rain will cut his birthday cake, and his fans will hold a variety of events for their favorite singer, such as finding out who his ideal woman is, performances by fans, and the reading of letters by Rain and his fans.

The singer will also sing his hit songs from his third album, including “Me,” “You Know” and “It’s Raining,” and video clips showing his overseas concerts will be shown on a large screen.

Rain’s agency JYP Entertainment said it has been flooded with requests from foreign journalists to allow them to cover the party, and projected the party to become a large-scale event attended by many Asian fans.

Following his success in Japan, Rain is now poised to launch the promotion of his album in China starting from July. As for Happy Birthday in Korean, it should be romanized as Saeng il chuk hamnida or saeng il chuk hahae. The first is much formal and the second is less formal. Again, it's because of the hangul characters coz the second character is (|-|) ='ae' in the first word. "saeng" has 3 characters in it.
First is the 'ren' chinese character, second is (|-|)="ae" and third is (o)= 'ng". Of coz the pronounciation is correct as "seng" ^^

Rain Invited to Perform at Manchester United’s Game

Singer Rain has been invited to perform at the pre-match show of the game between the British premier league team Manchester United and Japan’s Kashima Antlers on July 28 at 7 p.m. at the Tokyo Yoyoki National Stadium. Some 50,000 spectators are expected to attend the match.

Manchester United, which comprises some of the world’s top players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, recently came into the spotlight when Korean soccer star Park Ji-sung joined the team. Rain is likely to meet with Park at the match.

Both the match and the pre-match show will be broadcast live throughout Japan by Fuji TV. The match is expected to record high viewer ratings as Manchester United created a sensation during its previous visit to Japan.

"It is quite rare for Manchester United to hold pre-match shows at goodwill matches. Many top Japanese artists expressed their willingness to perform at the match, but the players and the team’s senior officials chose Rain," said JYP Entertainment, Rain’s agency.

Rain said he is honored to have the opportunity to perform at the match of Manchester United, as he is a fan of the team, and will do his best to stage a superb performance that will be broadcast to Japan and Europe.

Part 1:

Question:Is this your first time in Australia?
This is my third time visiting Australia.
The first time I came here was for my music video, then I came here again because of CF’s, and I’m here again for another CF and sort of like a vacation.
We filmed my first album in Australia, but no one noticed.
I was sort of upset about that. When we made that music video it was difficult, and it was really cold.

Q:What do you feel about Australia?
My first expression was that it was clean and that it was warm. They’re really nice.
This is my third time here, but I didn’t see any Koala’s or Kangaroos.
I only saw a lot of horses, cows, and sheep.
So I felt like something was lacking.
It feels a lot like the first time I came here. It’s peaceful and it seems like a nice place to live.

Q:When you’re in the airplane what do you do the most?
I usually kill time by playing games.
When my fans recognize me I usually give them my autographs.
This time I took a night plane so I slept most of the way.
Because of my tight schedule I couldn’t sleep that well, but in the plane I took a really long nice nap. And you know, those naps are the best.
I also enjoy eating the food they give out.

Q:When you get on and off of the plane, whom do you call?
Of course it’s my family. But there are sometimes when I call my friends.
I usually call my dad, my dad always tells me to take care of myself, eat a lot, and he tells to come back safely.
I usually use roaming service; I call so often that it doesn’t really feel that we are apart.
The funny thing is that when I’m overseas family and friends always ask, “Did you eat?” They always have to make sure. Just, that just made me curious.

Q:What do you usually pack in your bags?
I always pack my own bags. There’s nothing in particular that I pack.
Even though the vacation is long I don’t take that much clothes. Countries like Australia that are hot I usually wear white sleeveless shirts.
One shirt, sneakers, jeans, training pants, sunglasses, and my hat are a must.
The rest of the clothes I need I buy it on the vacation, so I usually just by my clothes then and there.

Q: Do you get comfortable with unknown places easily?
Even on vacations I sleep and eat pretty well.
Beside me there are the steps that are like older brothers and sister so even though it’s uncomfortable I usually get used to it.
Everything is how you deal with and take it in really.
“Even though I die, I have to do this.” Those things I always do. But things that you have to give up I give up, but I usually don’t give things up easily.
The truth is my character usually changes often like at different places and at different times.
There is also a tempered side of me, even though we were really close if our personalities don’t match I usually cut that person off.

Part 2:

Q:Is there a vacationing place that is memorable?
I like all cities. My favorite city is La because they have lots of clothes.
I go to LA because of work but after we finished filming, shopping is my greatest pleasure.
Also in LA there are a lot of Korean people but they don’t recognize me.
All this time and all the places I’ve gone Paris has the most beautiful scenery and buildings.

Q:Then so far what city fits with you the best?
Mmm, I think Soeul fits me the best.
I like our country the best. Even though they have good stuff, I looked around at other countries nowhere is as free and peaceful as Korea.
Of course when I go abroad and people don’t notice me and I feel free, but still Souel is the best.
Lately I’ve been out of the country and spending most of the time away from home, I could have gotten homesick.
Anyway, the place I lived for 20 years fits me the best.

Q:When you’re on a vacation, what do you have to buy?
First I have to buy sneakers. Almost on every single vacation, I think it’s a habit
Also, I also buy a lot of clothes that are out for donation, used clothes.
I like things that are intresting and unique so I usually buy accessories that easily come to the eye, so I usually just buy those.
The truth is, I never buy anything expensive, because I won’t wear it. When I give gifts to my family I give them simple shirts or something like that.

Q:When you went shopping is there a story you would like to tell?
I like the Marc Jacobs fragrance a lot lately.
It’s perfume but I really liked the smell of it, usually I use that one.
So when I first knew about this smell, it was in an American gay shop.
Coincidentally I went in there and a black man had on the smell, so I asked him what it was.
After that I bought it and kept using the perfume.
Oh, please don’t misunderstand. ^^;

Q:You really enjoy driving, right?
Yes! I really like to drive. When I touch the handle I have to go for a quick ride, then I’ll be satisfied.
I really like sports cars. Because they look cool! But I don’t want to have one right now. Later when I’m 50-60, I think that’s the right time.
At first you think it’s going to fit you really well, but that’s just what people think.
When grandpa’s where jeans don’t they look better? That’s why I tell my dad to wear jeans.

Q:Right now, do you get along with the people well?
Right now I don’t think I’m on the close side of the people.
But I get along with the models I’m shooting with pretty well.
From my side if I go open-heartedly and I’m comfortable around them, I think they come open-heartedly too. Even though my English isn’t that great it was ok?
If I just smile really big they smile back at me.( :-) )

Part 3:

Q:Before you became a star what was the most memorable vacation?
I went to the Dea Jun Beach with a couple of my friends. But this is actually a sad memory. We didn’t have any money so we couldn’t eat correctly and we didn’t have a place to sleep.
Maybe it was because it was the vacationing time one ramen was about $8 - $9 and the dwean jang jee kea was about $14 - $10. At the end with my friends we ate ramen but we were still really hungry. It is a bad memory, but after all if you think about it, it is a memory. Now, when I travel I can travel really bountiful.
Hahaha~~~maybe because of that now when I go to a nice hotel I’m really happy.

Q:Then after you became a star what was the most memorable vacation?
Before I was with Dream Team and I really liked the group.
The Country KoKo Hyungs, Sang Jin Hyung, and some other people and I have a really fun memory of that.
That was while I was becoming a star, and I had less time on my hands then.
Right now I don’t have the time in my heart, which is kind of a loss.

Q: Did you ever go on a vacation by yourself?
Never, not once. I don’t even have in mind going on a vacation by myself.
When I’m on a vacation I always have to have someone to talk to.
Because if you go by yourself you’ll be lonely. If I did go on a vacation I would like to go with my closest friends.
You can cuss when you want to, just a friend that you can speak freely too. Right now friends that I point out, I have other than celebrities, are three people. With those three friends I want to go on a trip.

Q: Do you have any past memories about the ocean?
Yes, probably because I really enjoy swimming.
If you say the ocean, I have many funny memories about it.
But out of those before I drank beer with Jin Young Hyung and swam.
Uh, this isn’t good for kid’s~but anyway the water was really cold and it felt good.

Q:You enjoy fishing too?
I really like it. When I go on a fishing trip with my dad I just sit there for three hours without moving.
During the time we wait together we just talk about this and that. After you wait along time and you catch a big fish, you feel really proud.
After we catch the fish we just let it go. My dad says that if you’re not hungry you should just let it back go.

Q:When you go on a vacation, what do you feel the most?
Lately I’ve been feeling I’ve been spending too much time abroad.
It’s because I spend so little time, but of course I always feel like I should spend more time with my family.
Going on trips are fun, but I always think about my family.
Maybe it’s because I’m the oldest.
I especially want to take care of my little sister.

Q:Right now what position would you rank yourself?Right now, I think I’m right at the middle.
My 2nd album did make a success; I still have a long way to go. I still have things I want to practice and I still have a lot of things to learn.
Anyway, I don’t care how other people rank me. The most important thing is that if I’m satisfied. I still have a ways to go.

Q:Because you’re busy are there times when is it hard or tiring?
Even after the 2nd album shows my schedule was really tough, I had no time to rest.
But that doesn’t mean I was tired, but that’s really me. From one day even though I met my friends or new people it was no fun.
Right after I finished working I feel complete and satisfied.
Don’t misunderstand me! That doesn’t mean I’m a workaholic.
The real workaholic is Jin-Young Hyung.
At least I’m lazy once in a while. Sometimes I do more than I should, sometimes I don’t.
Sometimes I oversleep and that’s when I’m lazy.

Q:In the future where/how do you want to go?
I always want to be truthful and live confidently.
I also want to live with lots of effort.
I don’t want to become lazy, but that doesn’t mean I want to be a workaholic, I just want to keep going.
Like right now I want to work enjoying it.
I want to show a more truthful me from me.

Q:Is there one country you would like to go to?
Japan. I really want to go there. The truth is, I went there a couple of times but I still want to go again. I don’t want to go to Japan to shop.
I think there are lots of interesting things in the country. First the scenery and the culture are unique.
Next year I’m planning to go to Japan next year to promote my album. I hope that time hurry’s up and come. I’ll just have to wait.

Q:How well do you think your English is?
I know the basic that you need to go on a vacation.
When I order food or when I go shopping I’m pretty good, but I can’t get into anything more complex.
Japanese is a little easier to communicate for me. Because I study it, Japanese is at first easy but then it get harder and harder.
But I can do it. Before I made my 2nd album I even had a Japanese tutor, but now I forgot most of it.
But from now, I’m expecting to study it again.

Q:What is your personal dream vacation?
If I have a girlfriend I want to go to a resort with her. Like the Phillippines. First because I like things that are hot, and I like the ocean. Also because there are things that I like shrimp, fish, and food that came out of the sea. But out of all, mostly the beach. I want to go water-skiing with my girlfriend. A lot of people are saying that I stay away from girls and I like guys.
But that’s not true, I like girls!

Q:After you finish the job in Australia where are you going?
First I’m going to Beijing and meet up with Jin-Young hyung. I think we’re going to open a showcase there. We’re going to show the promotion. Probably in the middle of April I’ll be probably be overseas to the different Asian countries

'Rain' in Beijing, Brings Thousands 'flooding' in

After the performance of South Korean actress, Lee Young Ae, the recent hottest Korean idol, Rain, yesterday began his album promotion tour in Hong Kong, sparking a 'Korean Downpour.' Even before arriving in Beijing, his Chinese fans were already in great awe and excitement. Despite the fact that this is the fourth visit to the capital, his fan base has increased greatly over time.

Upon arrival at Beijing airport, he was greeted by hundreds of adoring fans. Contrary to what he initially expected, he was also greeted with a 'shower' of panties and lingerie by sexually charged pre-pubescent female fans, a symptom reminiscent of the 'water-deprived, drought-stricken victims' of the scorching Beijing summer. :glug: Although he appeared smiling in his trendy sunglasses, he was not as friendly as his usual self. Nonetheless, at the signature event later in the afternoon, he was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of thousands of his passionate fans and once adapting to the burning Beijing weather he willingly shook hands with his fans, whom were immersed by his presence.

Prior to Rain’s arrival

Rain had initially planned to arrive in Beijing, at 10.40AM, but because of delays in the flight schedule, the fans, most of whom had arrived at the airport at 9AM, could only wait impatiently for his arrival. A majority of them had neatly worn white T-shirts with his name 'Rain' printed on it, in the hopes of catching their idol’s attention upon his arrival. During this time, they repeatedly recited Rain’s Korean name. Upon Rain’s arrival at the airport gate, he was seen to be accompanied by ten bodyguards, and because of the long queue of fans present, he was rushed to the car park to avoid being caught up in the crowd. and being entangled in a 'hailstorm' of underwear. :crazy: However, hundreds of fans still persisted in chasing after him, causing great havoc at the airport, much to the dissatisfaction of other tourists. Other than wearing a smile, he appeared to be emotionless and did not greet his fans.

At the signature event

It was only until his signature event at a famous Beijing shopping centre later that afternoon that he warmed up to his fans by shaking hands with them and sign autographs. There were also thousands of locals surrounding the outside of the shopping centre, in the hopes of catching a glimpse of their idol. However, only a small portion of the fans were lucky enough to meet him up close. They all expressed their enthusiasm in meeting Rain, arriving several hours prior to his arrival to occupy ideal spots and avoid the big crowds that were later to arrive.

So on Saturday i was shopping and i happened to see this magazine and i was like 'ah! i gotta get that booklet' and i bought it. the next day, my friend was looking for it but it was all sold out. everywhere. oh man, the power of Rain!

D: Wow, its gonna be a busy scheduel. I remember from your movie, "Full House" and theres a scene, because the main character is a star, he faces alot of crazy fans, even having to resort to hiding in the bathroom. This time, are you prepared for this?

R.T: It's not like the movie where you have to hide from the fans. Meeting the fans is a very happy thing. And he is considered a little artist now, so he's used to meeting fans on the streets. But if theres a situation where theres possible harm/danger towards the fans, then he will hide a little for their safety.

X: Ok, this time Rain came to China, he brought along his third album, named "It's Raining", right?

R.T: Yes

X: Then can we let Rain introduce this album for us?

R.T. Acutally, you can say that the third album compared to the first and second album is alot more mature. There's alot of new things, especially the choreography, alot more new moves. And clotheswise, theres a new style. On music itself, theres alot more new things/ideas, he thinks its a more mature album.

X: I have a question, why is the nickname "Rain"?

R.T: Theres a few reasons why. First Rain himself likes the name, "Rain", and he likes the raining weather. His original name is Cheng Ji Hun, this name, Ji Hun in Korea,theres alot of stars with that name already, its easy to get mixed up. So he tried to find a name that people witll remember and one that he himself likes.

D: This "Rain" in China gives people an impression of a worriesome feeling, but Rain gives us a very bright and sunny feeling. Is it true? What is your real personality? Is it like this word, "Rain"?

R.T: He doesnt think that his personality has any connections with the word "Rain".

X: Here in China, not sure if Rains knows about this, but the fans here all call you by Bao Bao. Do YOu like that name? (Bao Bao means baby in mandarin, must mean Bi is as cute as a baby :-) )

R.T: He said this is his first time hearing that, didn't know thats what his fans call him by.

X: Really, they all call him by Bao Bao, a very fresh name.

D: Pretty funny, his first album was called Bad Guy, right? (a joke saying how he started out as a "bad guy" and ended up being Bao Bao)

X: Yep, actually our chatroom already has a few thousand web fans online right now. They mostly just want to give their best wishes to Rain. Right here I would like to read one of the fan's messages to Rain, please translate it.

Rain, I've waited for so long, thinking about you everyday, your voice, your energetic dance moves, the cute look in your eyes and your sweet and cute smile. Other than looking at you as a star, the fan said that they were going to get their test results and because Rain was coming, it gave them a strong motivation and encouragment. Have you ever thaought of fants not only looking up to you as a star but also as a role model? Do you like this feeling?

R.T: He's very happy that people can look at him as a role model rather than just a star. He thinks that his life is like a model/imitation of other peoples' lives.

D: Like a model/imitation star?

R.T: Yep

X: Ok, today our online web fans left an extremely large amount of questions, waiting to ask Rain. A lot of them are concerned about the album, as we dicussed earlier, what kind of style is in the album? And which one is Rain's favorite song?

R.T: He said that this album is more of a mix of everything. It includes hip hop, r and B, and funky, alot of different styles. He said he, himself, dont want to say that this album is a certain style, but its the same as the first and second album, it represents him, like its Rain's album.

D: Then from this album, regarding your performance etc, wat kind of improvements did you make?

R.T: He feels that the biggest improvements are the way he sang and the dance moves compared to the first two albums, he improved alot.

D: Which is your favorite song?

R.T: He likes the first single, "It's Raining".

D: Why? Is it because you like the meaning of "it's Raining"?

R.T: It's because its the first single and the fact that he sang it the most out of the other songs.

X: Oh,ok. Our China fans all say that they knew Rain because of Full House and they all wonder if Rain's personality is like the main character in Full House.

R.T: He said, thinking it throurghly, theres similarities and differences.

D: Still haven't talked about your personality.

X: Because theres alot of fans who want to get to know you. How are you in real life?

R.T: He said that his personality is more impatient, stubborn and is willing to improve himself. Towards lots of things, theres a little greed. YOu can say thats the bad traits that needs to be improved.

D: This is a pretty funny question. In Full House, the two main characters met on a plane and because that pretty girl vomited on the guy, it started the whole new romance. I want to know, in real life, if you really came upon this kind of situation, like on the way to Beijing or something, wat would you do?

R.T: He said that he wouldn't be like the guy on Full House, who is really mean to the girls around him. Have to check and see if the girl is pretty first, haha just kidding. He will accept the apolgies from the girl.

D: Since we're on the pretty girls topic, alot of web fans are especially concerned about what kind of girls do you like.

wah..I saw Bi the other day [July the 4th] when he went to a shopping centre in Hong Kong. Only knew he was coming the day before,and my friend n i went to the shopping centre early[by 9hrs] since we figured there'd be quite alot of people, but then went like slightly late n couldnt get the tickets [where you get to sit in the fronter area].

Anyway, the whole things was sort of lame, coz I exected him to at least sing a song n stay for like half n hr, but all it was, was a 11min interview, which i couldnt hear properly coz everyone was screaming like idiots >=[. And this i waited like a whole day for, sitting/standing in the same area for i dunno how many hrs.
Oh well..I guess I still got to see him =) [even though he was sorta too tiny to see properly from my position]

Anyway, I never knew Bi was so popular in HK....and the whole thing even though wasnt fun at the time[coz of the amount of people squished in such a smallish space], was fun after i thought about it, since it was my first time doing this sort of celebrity chasing thing. And it was sad, coz we watched he's vanleave, except he didnt take away the curtains to wave. And he didnt seem all that cheery during the event.

I heard he was still in HK today, to actually have time to look around the city and to relax today[despite saying he'd leave today]. Hope he has fun in Hk, only wish I saw him better........

Oh yeah..and i saw this magazine[touch mag] which i shall buy, that had this really hot picture of him. Okay, I'm really busy now so I haven't had time to read all the posts yet, but just to soothe your anxious, inquiring minds, yes I saw his loveliness yesterday, yes he is way hotter in person (like Teresa guessed), and yes I took pictures. As for personal details and the pics,I wrote down a long entry in my journal about the event so I can post it up later on my Xanga. I was able to snag some pics, but some of them came out blurry due to all the pushing and smacking of the crowd of people around me. I'll post those up later, don't be expecting professional photography because it was difficult enough to see him, but I did :-)

Just to let you guys know, I was walking around today and Rain is on almost every single magazine cover, it is insane! I didn't realize the extent of his popularity here until I went to the mall yesterday. Drama ‘Bad Love’ Failed to Produce...Nominated in MTV China Music Award...Exclusive Concert in Japan from Coming 30th

‘Asian Treasure’ Rain is expected to be centering on singing activity this summer. The drama ‘Bad Love’ he put most emphasis on failed to produce and so his summer schedule is concentrated on the activities as singer. Rain is both an invited singer and a nominated awardee in ‘MTV China Music Award’ held in China July 24. If he wins the prize, he will be achieving ‘Grand Slam’ who has swept all the awards MTV held in Asia this year in succession to MTV Korea, MV Asia and MTV Japan.

Rain is known to have a congratulatory performance in the goodwill match with Kashima Antlers Japan at National Yoyogi Stadium Tokyo by being invited by the Manchester United of England Premier League, and is known to be on arrangement for a meeting with Park Jisung. In sequence, he proceeds with his first exclusive live concerts in Tokyo August 30~31 and in Osaka August 3~4.

The reason why Rain endured the busy schedule as a singer is because he has became a stable sure international star who enjoys a hot popularity in such various countries as Korea, Japan, China. A person in charge of Rain’s relevant company JYP Entertainment responded “We were thrown off balance by the sudden unexpected news that putting it onto the program of the broadcasting station is difficult.” In the interview in Japan around end of May, Rain once said “I like such as the script and the cast of ‘Bad Love’ and I can show what I haven’t shown yet. So I would like to participate.” Failing to be produced of the much-expected drama, there is this following cautious expectation rising up at the part of entertainment world “Rain might aim at advancing onto the movie.” :excited:

Before Rain arrives in HK, he is already looking forward to it. When he arrives at the HK airport the day before and saw the thousands of fans waiting for him, he is pleasantly surprised. He says: “thanks very much to all the fans who love me and care about me. This makes me want to put in even more efforts to give back to everyone”. So, not only is Rain able to mesmerize his fans before the cameras, he is also able to make all his fans swoon with his sweet speech. This “small king from Korea” can really be said to be Mr Friendly.

Rain has apparently put in lots of efforts into his dressing when meeting the press yesterday. He is an avid supporter of LV, like this other charming Korean guy (the reporter’s word, not mine) who was in HK before him (dun know what is his Korean name – the guy in the big hit Jewelled?? Or Bejewelled??). And coincidentally, they appear to have similar taste. They wear the same tie and shirt to meet the HK press. Only the jacket is different. And both of them wore shoes without socks. So do all Korean men like this kind of dressing? When he heard the reporter’s qn, he got nervous and ask “I am not sure if this kind of dressing is considered impolite in HK? Is it not good? Not all Korean men dress like this but I thought I should be more formal when I meet the HK press, so I dress up like this. Ordinarily, I prefer jeans.” <omg, he's so adorable! :love:>

The press called him “sexy-boy” and he smiles when he hears this. “Thanks everyone. I dun try hard to be sexy, but because I usually dance on stage, I have to maintain this physique to show the beautiful lines (of the body)”.

When asked when he finds himself the sexiest, he gives it a thought and answers: “I have never thought about this. Maybe when I finished exercising and bathed – that would be the sexiest?”. :wub: He also says he dun think he has a good body (he is too modest!!!) <i agree :crazy: >. So since dancing is so hard, has he thought of giving it up? Rain says: “Never thought of giving up. But when I was not an artiste, in the past, I have thought of giving up dance training as my family was poor and I was always hungry. Fortunately, my mum kept on encouraging me. Thanks to her support, I can be who I am today”.

There was previous report that he would meet up with Jackie Chan in HK but he said he never heard of this. Regarding his comments on having a concert in Dec, he says: “If possible, of course I would like to come back and meet my fans but all these things I dun know yet”. He says he admires Jackie Chan and Stephen Chow.

It is possible that Rain would venture into the US but he personally feels that besides US, he would like to spend more time to expand in the South East Asia market (yippee!!! But pls take care of your health first). He is then asked if he agrees that recently, the Korean singers seem to have overtaken the HK singers in popularity ratings in most parts of Asia. To this, he modestly replies: “I feel that as long as the music is popular, it should not make a difference which countries the singers are from. Everybody just enjoys the music and the cultural exchange.”

The last qn is on why he would use a “decoy” the night before to get the fans and media off track? Is it because he wants to go out and play? Before Rain could answer, his manager chips in: “We would not answer this qn.”. He is insistent on keeping this mystery unanswered.

R: After two years, coming to Beijing, the thing that is most different is that i have alot more fans. I'm really grateful and thankful to everybody and its a pleasure to have many fans. Also, Beijing itself has changed alot. Im very happy, I noticed alot of the fans below the stage were singing along with me, long time ago that never happened. Toward the fans support, Im very thankful.

N: On stage, Rain's energetic hot dance moves drive fans crazy (ohhh yea :brows:) and an addition of his cute expressions(winks etc) makes the fans like him even more. But Rain said that offstage, in real life, he would never use those kinds of expressions. The energetic star, when facing strangers, tend to be very shy.

R: Offstage, I probably never show those expressions. But when I get on stage, I enter a world where I lose a sense of true self. While performing, the expressions just come naturally.

N: Regarding the progress he is making in China, Rain has high expectations. Believeing that with his hardwork and the fans support, he will do very well.

R: The China's market is very vast, has alot of potential. You can include it with Singapore and Phillipines as Asia's big markets. I hope i can make great progress here. This market is already in my favor.

To be honest, I think I am the only person here that hates Full House, the plot line completely went in circles. By the end I was shaking the TV screaming, "GET TOGETHER ALREADY!!"
^ok this is kinda old, but I just finished watching FH yesterday... and I rellie thought it could have ended better :oops: cuz rellie.... towards the middle to the end... it was getting out of hand and it was kind of a drag :worry: I was having like a heartattack cuz they just wouldn't get together already! :wacko: but i rellie expected a lot more to happen too :oops: :shy:
