Many of my Korean friends don't seem to think he's all that HOT, though. I don't understand why. And especially with my guy friends, they seem to think he's too girly or something like that. They don't mind me obsessing other male Korean celebs, but they can't stand Won Bin. :?
Funny thing is, when I watched Endless Love, I didn't like him at all. Sure I thought he was cute but I was more interested in the other actor, the one who played the brother. My mom kept saying that Won Bin is so cool and stuff but I insisted on liking the other guy. Untill about a year later I saw pictures of him on the net and I was like, OMG this guy is HOT. Imaging my surprise when I found out he was in Endless Love and I didn't even notice him :crazy: . Then I watched Friends and was instantly became a fan :) .
Oh and I love Guns and Talks. That movie is hillarious!! I like all the actors in it and I think they all did a nice job. My friend the acting is too much,like they act too stupid but I think they did it deliberately. It's just how the characters are supposed to be.

Vinka, they can't stand Won Bin is because they're jealous. I mean all handsome guys are being jealous at by people. I mean which other guy could be so perfect than won bin? I don't get it...he's a total hottie.

Vinka, maybe u didn't notice him in endless love because he was kinda chubby. I think he's much much million times more handosme than that brother. Everyone said that.......all my friends have to agree that he's the more handsome one.
Of course I find no one better looking than WOn Bin.....in korea.

i have to admit that i was never a big fan of Won bin ... when i first saw him it was in Endless Love and at that point i wasnt a fan of K-drama (now i am btw!) and i just thought Endless Love seems tedious and boring and you kno too tears straining so i never really noticed him ...

BUT ... when i saw him in 'Guns and Talks' i thought he was so cute and so nice!!!! and now i am offically a fan of his! lol!

I noticed this thread and decided to drop by :).
They started showing Endless Love on TV here and that's when i first noticed him. Well, first i saw the main guy there, he seemed really cute, plus he's sort of the main charachter, so that made me like him even more, but Won Bin is much cuter than the main charachter guy. btw, what's his name?
I don't know much about Won Bin, but i'd love to learn with your help :).
I haven't seen any other movies with Won Bin, only Endless love drama and i haven't watched all of it.

Won Bin--my fave korean actor.I started to like him when i first saw his pic on a local magazine.At that time,i didnt know who he was.But of coz,after reading the small article about him,i found out his name was Won Bin and that he acted in Friends with Kyoko Fukada and Kelly Chen. :rolleyes: Not too long after reading the article,the tv here shown Autumn In My Heart (or Endless Love? :? ) and that was the 1st time i watched Won Bin's series.The story was 'kinda' bored but oh well...i ended up watching the whole series twice!Not becoz of the story line or Song Seung Hun ( :dry: ),but for Won Bin!!I really liked his character in the series,maybe becoz Won Bin's character was too nice,that made me hated Song Seung Hun's character (and Song Seung Hun himself) more. :oops:(sorry,jz cant help feeling that)
Anyway,i have also watched Friends and i think the story is pretty bored too,but as usual i watched it,um twice.Sorry,i just cant take my eyes off Won Bin. :shifty: Um...if the tv here is going to show Friends again,i might set a record of watching it 3 times :whistle: .Anyway,here's something a bit off the topic which i've been wondering for so long--eventhough i watched Friends twice,but i just cant seem to spot Kelly Chen in the series.i wonder did Kelly really appear in the show? :?

He is the hottest Korean actor i've seen......I fell for him ever since the drama Endless Love.....He was like the total guy everyone would die for.....so hot looking and such a sweet guy that would never give up on the woman of his dreams. Even though he could not 'have' her, he still wanted the best for her and was always there for her. Well, in my opinion......the total guy of my dreams. hehehe.... :brows:

He was so cute in the Jap/Korean drama called Friends with Kyoko Fukada. Did anyone watch that one? Just one of those expected good endings, but it was a sweet love story. :wink2:

I know they weren't blood related but they were raised as bro and sis and only knew each other as bro and sis!

I absolutely LOVED the beginning of Endless Love, when they were kids. LOVED IT SO MUCH. I don't think I've ever cried more watching a show. :cry: :cry: It was heart-breaking. I didn't cry as much when Hyegyo died cuz I saw it coming a mile away! I think we might still have an Endless Love thread around here somewhere..

Anyway, I thought Friends was okay, actually. Kyoko Fukada is so cute! (So is Won Bin but I didn't need to tell you that). I saw some beind the scenes/interview stuff and Kyoko Fukada said that he had a really cute smile. I AGREE! =P

About Friends behind the scenes, Won Bin was so thoughtful when he gave a white Mickey Mouse ear mufflers to Kyoko. I though, I wish he could give me one too. :laughing:

hey u guys watch taegukgi? aw..........i think i'm gonna blame won bin for the most part and i am a fan og dong gun now....hahaha.........this movie made me have no mood to eat and i cried for even teh beginning part which should be fun when i watch it again, but the movie i got is in FULL korean language and i barely know what they're saying, but since i read so much about this movie i think i basicalli got the whole point of this story....have to complain about the shaking of the camera.......can't get the details cuz of that.....anyways this becomes my fav. movie now. besides the highest selling movie ever and most expensive one in korea......

Well i got "taegukgi" from my friend who i forced to download for my bday gift......... :rolleyes: ........i made her download it with emule...and in emule they have lots of people who have taegukgi so yeah if anyone want to get it that's maybe the best way...........but i'm still waiting for the copy that my friend will get for me in china cuz this one i have now is in full korean and of course i don't understand korean language...soooooo :happy:

I'm with u too Kahel cuz the only thing I watch with Won Bin is AIMH and Taegukgi.....the others I only have pics of those or just heard about them...actually u can get Taegukgi in Emule.

Personally thought it is one of the best asian films around. Both actors, especially Wonbin, lost the ability to use their good looks in the film, and showed their acting skills! :)

Tae Guk Gi was the best movie ever!! I loved Won Bin in it and I cried so hard at some scenes they were soooo moving. It is very bloody though. I had to close my eyes during some of the war scenes, because the wounds looked very authentic. :rifle: But as long as you close your eyes at the right time, it isn't too bloody!! Definitely check it out! That movie makes you fall in love with Won Bin all over again. ::sigh:: :cloud9:

hahaa talk about vandalising. i just heard that my highschool painted all desks.. white! so that theyd easily see if students doodle.. back when i was in my senior year.. desks were colored dark brown and my classmates would use it as "scratch paper" for solving their math problems.. and as cheating aids too! haha u can see light traces of formulas, chinese sentences, etc!

p.s. mandarin sounds so good and slurpy (in a good way) but so is korean! so smooth...

korean and mandarin are my two favourite languages hehe...sounds so purdiful with music <3

and sarang hae...i melt whenever i hear that in korean dramas. imo, sarang hae sounds the best...unless its shinhwa promoting in china or singapore and they say wo ai ni :rolleyes:

and i agree, i love you in cantonese doesnt sound romantic at all, and its so hard to say. whereas wo ai ni and sarang hae is nice and flow-y.

i prefer to watch dramas in their original language. i just hate watching dubbed dramas...and its fun to learn korean! i wish i could have seen autumn fairytale in korean. i dont think ive ever heard won bins voice. :oops:

You should! It's kinda weird coz the canto voice of him (sounds uber odd to say he has another voice...) is really high. But in the flim, he has a fairly low voice you know!

melts at sarang hae! i dunno, but its so "i love you" style. can hear the korean singer yoodling "i luuurrveee youuuuuuuuuuuu" :-)

off topic, but you know alec su in Princess Pearl, he has such a LOW voice! So does vin diesel and josh hartnett, they are actually monotone! the latter 2 are anyway...

OMG I just finished downloading Taegukgi last night! But it didn't have English subtitles so I had to download them from this other webbie, vthen they only worked for the first half of the movie :cry: I've only seen half the movie so far but it is good.
Won bin's such a good actor! I was crying even before the sad bits started! :depresse:

i realised the subtitles were in two halves and i had downloaded the one file version of the movie. so i went and downloaded the second of the 2-file version, loaded it up with the second half of the subtitles and it still wouldnt work :oops:

maybe i just dunno how to use divx player. >< ill ask Bee when shes not so busy...=)

dana - lol really? wonbin has a low voice? :laughing: i guess before you listen to their real voices, you dont mind the dubbing that much... =P

hehe...i guess its cos Endless Love II and III were called Winter Sonata and Summer Scent, its nice to differentiate it using another season. :tongue:

Winter Sonata was only called the second Endless Love to use the popularity of Autumn Fairytale, its got no link whatsoever.. :oops: (whereas the third also starred SSH i guess)

and you liked Won Bin more? it doesnt make you odd hehe, just the odd one out..=P maybe youre not as sentimental.. :glug: and wonbinny's good looks meant more than the storyline which intended to flatter SSH? =P

How many friggin times has Won Bin proposed to Eun Suh in Autumn Fairytale?! And I've only seen up to episode 8! Does she have no heart? How could she say no to that face? You know, everytime he's said, 'Marry me,' I've been yelling, 'Yes!' at the screen. :shy: And Shin Ae! Grr! I want to slap her, she's so annoying! I feel so bad for Yumi and Won Bin though, they love Jooh Suh/Eun Suh so much they're willing to stay with them even though they don't have their love :cry:

i just finished watching 'friends' and that's such a good drama!! it's also my first non-chinese drama and i'm so in love with won bin now so i just have to pop in and say hi :wave: :D

my friend was telling me about this other drama he was in (but she didn't give me the title) where won bin was a side character so he doesn't end up with the girl but the drama still has a happy ending. is this the autumn fairytale you guys are talking about? :?

Yes, it is! :happy: U shld watch it if u hav e chance! Won Bin played Tai Xi in e show, while his good fren is Jun Xi. Both of em fall for e same girl- En Xi. Unfortunately, e girl likes his good fren Jun Xi instead. After many failed attempts of winning her heart, all Won Bin could do was to help e girl out when she had trouble (i shall not reveal it, in case some ppl prefer to watch it n find out emselves :wink2:) However, e story didn't hav a happy ending
