The 1st album n the 2nd i didn't cry when i got the album.. but the 3rd(8th Dimension).. coz i waited for it to release for so long...and when i got the album ..i quickly play the VCD (come with the 8th dimension), n that song was 'ZHUI HOU DE ZHAN YI" (FINAL BATTLE) .....i heard guns fire..then the music starts to come in ..and jay starts to sing.. n its so touching....my tears just keep coming out from my eyes.... and now the 4th album...the song that makes me cry is 'Ai Qing Xuan Ai'(Love's cliff) and 'Qing Tian'
N let's talk about THE ONE concert... i cried when Jay sang 'An Jing' (Silence) because whenever i'm sad ....or something bad happened in my life ...i'll go into my rooom lock the door..on the CD player..insert FANTASY and change the track to Track 10...

coz the DVD don't really show the CONcert..it show the REHEARSEL.. :-x ....damn it! about a month Alfa Record came out with a original ...100% PURE from THE ONE concert at TAIWAN! ...but i didn't cry for that... :wink2: but i was very "HIGH" :excited: JUMPING AROUND ..ahahah! :D

My cry song is Cant Speak...after months of listening to it fine, I took notice of the lyrics as i was listening to it and i realised how beautiful it was...it actually made me want to cry.. :cry:

Also, his rendition of 一路上有你 on the piano got me too...it is one of my favourite songs, the melody is so beautiful, and to see Jay singing it while playing the piano, just makes it perfect! The first time i saw the clip i really did want to :cry:

But basically, whenever Jay performs a slow ballad on the piano, and he has that look on his face...i feel quite emotional!

anyways....let me kind of get this straight, are you asking whether i would cry for him, or if his songs ever made me cry? because it seem as though most of you are answering the songs that make you cry, but crying FOR him is another thing...or so i would think anyways...er..perhaps i'm not making any sense, i've come close to tears before once listening to an jing or shi jie mo ri, because it's actually a very personal song to me, and it reminded me of events in my life that were not so pleasant, but i don't think i've really cried for him that way...it takes a lot to make me cry with things like these.

I think Jay made me cry a lots of times.....
Not only his songs, but also articles on him like the time magazine one and the other one with him talking about the 22 adopted kids and about his sicknesss. It's just so touching. I think Jay is so powerful that he can make me cry for him not only b/c I feel the sadness sometimes..it's b/c of the joy of seeing him...the joy. He can make me cry for joy and for sadness.

Like most of you, I have always found Jay's songs to be meaningful and touching. I would never really cry. It wasn't until I read somewhere that Jay's [世界末日] was written after he broke up with this gal. :cry:

Seems like he quickly went home to write down this song. And so, I looked through the lyrics and listened to the song again and I felt really sad. For someone as young as him then, he would be able to feel so much pain to write this song. :depresse:

I did cry when I listened to An Jing..... cuz it hits my heart too much...?? I liked this guy... and of course, he didn't like me..... being this one-sided love..... yet his girlfriend ( i later found out he has one) was like so mean to him (knew it by readin' his ICQ info and msn)..... it's like the g.f doesn't value him as much as he values her... and as Jay had sang in AN Jing..... it's like the last line 'I will learn to give you up, because I love you too much'....... man...... at that line, the first time I heard Jay's clear voice in the Fantasy Cd,,,,,, I quickly closed my room's door and started crying...... it's like the song is way too close to home. Jay's music really touches me, and I have to say I UNDERSTAND NO CHINESE. It is his music, the way he sings, all the emotionals that he put in the songs made me cry so many times when I am down. The first time I cried to a Jay song was An Jing. It is especially sad when u watch the MV... It has happened to me to shed some tears while his music was in my cd-player but it was not directly linked to his song or lyrics, just my thoughts running around too much. Just the other day I realised I do not listen to Jay as much as I used to and especially that of Qi Li Xiang because there are only a few songs on that. I remember in the past i used to love Jay and I'd love all the songs on his album (espcially Fantasy) so I decided to pop that CD into my CD player to listen to while I studied.

As "Ai Zai Xi Yuan Qian" started to play I was filled with all this emotion and all the memories I had of the past when I listen to this CD. Truthfully, when I'd come home from school I'd turn on my CD player and listen to Jay because then the only thing I looked forward to after school was listening to Jay. I would listen to Jay when I was feeling down, depressed and lonely and he would invigorate my spirit. I would listen to Jay when I was feeling happy to liven and revive myself. I'd even fall asleep listening to Jay because I could not get enough of him!!

And with all these memories of the past flooding back to me I began to cry because I had forgotten about how much I really truly loved Jay. I have become so busy with studying that it was rare for me to listen to much music because I am in my final year of high school and I am so stressed >.< When my mother saw me sitting at my desk crying she thought it was because I was becoming excessively stressed about my studies but really it was because of Jay!!! <333

Oh blasted. I was crying over Fen Lie a few hours ago. I was just staring at the computer screen as the song played and looped on my discman. I was in a very depressed, lonely mood. I haven't listened to Jay Chou's "The Eight Dimensions" in a while and anyways I was transfering my CDs to my mp3 player and I was thinking what CD should I put? I wanted something Jay Chou and then I saw The Eight Dimensions because it has literally been ages since I've listened to it!

As soon as I popped that on to the computer the intro to Ban Shou Ren starts playing and I feel very happy and its like I rediscover Jay all over again!! When Ban Dao Tie He starts playing I start to cry because there was a stage in my life where I'd listen to this CD so much to forget all my unhappy memories. They all came flooding back reminding me how much his music soothed me when I was upset. So yeh hahaha I'm listening to the Eight Dimensions alot again these days that I need to dig through my CDs to find Qi Li Xiang :excited:

then the other time i cried was after the Initial D Red Carpet in SG.. i cried after cos i really didn't want Jay to leave.. and my mother wouldn't let me send him off the airport.. so i cried cos it was already rare enough for Jay to come to Singapore, yet he was leaving so fast.. after i saw him for less than 5 minutes..

third time i cried was when Jay-Patty relationship got exposed :P i was really heartbroken and i cried and would play anjing on the piano :D it's amusing looking back now, but i sure was sad then!

And from the news, looks like he leads a happy life that I have no reason for crying for him. The first time I cried hearing Jay's song is when I first heard An Jing (Silence). Coz at that time, what's portrayed in the song really happens to me, n I cannot get a grip of myself n just cried. Wow,I'm glad to hear that Jay's music has touched the depths of your heart & soul as well as mine.The Final Battle,yes truly emotional song especially finding out that it's dedicated to one of his real life best friends who died in a war.

I also mentioned in my suicide post in the social lounge about how that music video made me break down in tears because I recently lost loved ones also.No wonder so many people can relate to his awesome music & videos.:D
