i love the pillows. my favorite songs are [juliet], [crazy sunshine], and [bran-new lovesong]. I bought a FLCL soundtrack at the mall so I could listen to them.

I was watching FLCL for the first time, and I kept saying ~ "wtf, i KNOW i've heard these songs before". Took me a couple hours listening to various songs, before I found out that they were the Pillows...I had something like 800mb of their songs...

oh..and Sawao Yamanaka is currently in a band called The Predators with two other members...one fo them being the bassist from Glay, Jiro!

I didn't hear of The Pillows until I found a song by Ellegarden which is a cover for The PIllows' Funny Bunny. Though I think that both versions are very good.

i loved "ride on a shooting star" for furikuri

i used to watch that with my bf so whenever i hear that song it reminds me of the excitement of a new relationship =]

besides that its just a fun, carefree song.

i like like the pillows, one of the only few jrock bands albums i own. i just bought their album "Penlty Life" last month, i remember back when it was new i wanted it but that was back when i didnt know their songs was on that anime show. now wonder people these days know The Pillows cuz of FCLC.

Haha, my introduction was similiar, I had heard of the pillows but I didn't go out and search for their music until I heard the ELLEGARDEN cover of "Funny Bunny"

Wow, I had no idea the band members were so old, but either way, I love the Pillows! I've never even seen FLCL, but a friend burned the OST for me and I've loved them ever since. Just listening to Hybrid Rainbow is enough to make me smile. =D
