Hey guyz I recently visited the CoCo Lee site and it showed that she sang a song on the Charlie's Angel's Sountrack. You can only get the song if you buy the asian version

oh really? do you know them then? (yeah, i know it's a stupid question :wink2: ) they're going to produce several songs on coco's new english album. in an interview she said that she's really excited that she's getting the chance to work with them. she also mentioned that every song w/ them is worth some hundred thousands bucks. if i remember correctly that is. :?

well the neptunes have made it very big i wouldn't be suprised that each track cost thousands of dollars. I don't like coco but it would be very interesting to see an asian singer colab with a major hip-hop artists.

I have no recollection of hearing Coco's voice in any of the song during the show...Perhaps i am not attentive enough....
But i like this part in the show when they play Edwyn Collins's "A Girl Like You"... It's pretty stylish in my point of view~ Sorry for being a bit :offtopic:

i'm sure that it'll sound quite interesting, although i think lots of her recent (and not so recent :wink2: ) songs sound very hip-hop-ish to me. although i woudln't consider myself a coco-fan i hope her new english album's gonna do well in the states, cos i think it'd be about time that an asian artist (doesn't necessarily have to be chinese if you ask me, but i wouldn't mind, hehe   ) made its brakethrough in the us or europe. and coco definitely has the potential to do it.

oh, i've heard of norfolk. there's a sorta famous club or something there where nearly every single one of my favourite us groups has held a gig there. i think it's called... um...
not sure about this... "the norva theater"? don't hit me though if i've messed something up, ok? cos i think i'm getting old. :glug: :wink2:
this is what it says on yesasia:
The long-awaited new album of CoCo Lee Wen is yet to come but we can now enjoy the diva's music again as she contributes the number "All Around the World" to the original soundtrack (Asian Version) of the blockbusting movie "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle". It is such a nice surprise to find that this mid-tempo tune is written by CoCo herself. The stunning performance of CoCo in this music video will soon come to your television screen as CoCo has already finished the shooting. However, her album will only be released in later 2003 at the soonest, according to her record label.
and this is what i've found on cocolee.net (her offical website i think):
You may have already heard the rumor that CoCo's English album is postponed to the end of the year or the beginning of next year and she will release a Mandarin album first. In fact, however, this is not confirmed yet. CoCo and Sony Music/EPIC has not made the final decision because whether releasing the Chinese or the English first depends on many factors.

yep, it's called the norva.. i've never been to it myself, but my friends have gone to a couple concerts there and from what i've heard that place is pretty small for a theater. i could only imagine those mosh pits..

whoa, that would be so cool. the neptunes have collaborated with all the hottest artist in r&b and hip hop. they´ve definetly have the craziest, coolest beats ever. maybe this will make coco famous in us since her last english album wasnt such a hit.

hey, have any of u people heard this one english song " No Doubt' by coco lee, cuz i'm not sure if it might be one of the song in her new english cd. cuz i heard the song about maybe several months ago, on www.promosquad.com which sometimes let u listen to new songs before it come out.
also found out this from yesasia.com-----
The preparation for Coco Lee's second English album has been going on for over a year now and all the recordings have been completed. Originally it was scheduled to be released in October, however, the star recently employed a new manager who is not satisfied with part of the album's recordings. Therefore, some of the songs have to be re-recorded, which is why the best thing to do was to delay the release date. Still, that's no cause for Coco to be dispirited, for first of all her first priority is to put out the most perfect album. Another comforting reason is that she can take advantage of the period in October to hold a concert tour across China, which may help her fill up her wallet. What happens next is another story.

gosh, she really IS taking her time. hope she's going to hurry up. her new manager shouldn't be that picky, i think. i'm pretty sure that it's going to sell very well in asia one way or the other. so who cares? :D
