Would you buy a JCNET t-shirt? [Read first!]

Members have expressed wanting a JCNET t-shirt that they can wear to Jay concerts, and just in general to help support the site, AND to get Jay to really notice us.

(Yes Jay knows about JCNET, but we want to keep him reminded that his English speaking fans still exist in large numbers, and we're all at JCNET :angel: )

So given the following circumstances, would you buy a shirt?

1). The shirt will have simple yet sleek design. It won't have "jay-chou.net" in big letters (most likely in small writing in a discrete place), and it won't have Jay's face on it. It will simply have "JCNET" and the country you are representing on it. Ex. JCNET-Europe, JCNET-U.S.A, JCNET-Singapore, or JCNET-International for countries with few members, etc... (which countries will be included will be decided later)

2). It may contain our catch phrase "too diao for words..."

3). It may also contain a small logo which will be designed in a future contest. Colors are unsure of for now.

4). There will be most likely 2 styles to chose from: a generic unisex t-shirt, and a baby-doll (more fitted) shirt for girls.

5). The shirt will cost between USD$15-25. The more people we get to buy, the lower the cost.

6). Since JCNET does donation drives every year, we can do something like "Donate USD$30 and get a free t-shirt"

7). The shirts will be available sometime early next year, but definitely by the time of Jay's next world concert tour

i would defnitely purchase a JCNET shirt :D but right now, if there's shirts available, im probably not able to, cos i dont have my own credit card. and the only way i could get one is if my parents order it for me.

but they probably wont :dry: cos they think i spend to much time online, and they just think it's stupid or somethin. when im older, i'll definitely buy one

Yeah, I would buy a Jay shirt but problem is I don't have a credit card and my parents wouldn't buy one for me. Sighhh. But if I were older I would.

And another thing, USD $20 is quite expensive when converted to Ringgit Malaysia >.< So I'll really have to consider..which is really sad because I so want a JCNET T-shirt! Haha. I'm acting so childish.

the problem might be that if printed at diff country but same design, it might not come out the same, so probably have to find a supplier that exports or something.

As for Jay noticing, I dont think he'll think differently of us than how he thinks about his other gazillon fanclubs with t-shirts on the face of this earth.
But the idea of making T-shirts and earning money from donations is a nice idea, a little something for the members of this site to hold onto.

I would really like to support jay-chou.net and having a t-shirt to wear to Jay's concerts and autograph sessions will be really great. My only problem would be the payment. I'm still studying and I don't own any credit cards and neither do my parents so online payment would be difficult. If there is a more convenient mode of payment for me in Singapore, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a jay-chou.net t-shirt. ^_^

Actually I was thinking, for those students who do not have credit card, maybe they can find one of the JCNET member who have one to order for them, when the stock was in, they would pay the money back to the person. And I was wondering IF it was cheaper ordering in a batch rather than indiviual. If really so, we can save abit of money too.But that needs lots of trust as its involve money issue. Maybe before they want to order, these ppl pay a deposit to the person, or what.

Yes i would definately buy one if its under $50 Aus dollars ($30-$40 US). In the Help/Feedback forum there is a thread for suggestions on the logos and other stuff if you didn't know... If anyone has any ideas or really wants something on the shirt design maybe they should drop a msg oover there cause atm it's not looking too good. Maybe when there are enough ideas we could then hold a poll for the best designs.

i said maybe yes, if i like the design and it's not too expensive. a lot of people don't donate because, well, they see donating as wasting money. they could use the $20 bucks to buy a new skirt or something. but now that we're getting something back from the donation, a lot more people will donate. and with a tolerable price and nice looking deal, the donating would come a lot easier. i tend to choose a lot before i pick anything because i want to spend money on something worth spending on and if i can donate to the best forum ever and get a cool t-shirt for it, it's a great deal! :happy:

Well, one reason is that I strongly support jc-net, and am thankful for all the information, fun and yes, downloads that I enjoyed.

But at US $15, that equals US $15 X 1.7 (Singapore-US Exchange rate) = $25.50, maybe that is abit steep, maybe US $10 would be more desirable..

In the last dinner, Singaporean JCNet members talked about making a banner and a shirt for Jay's next concert in Singapore, if he will come here that is. In that case, even though I will have already returned to Indonesia at that time, I will return to Singapore and be with fellow Singapore JCNet members to wear the JCNet Singapore shirt and go to the concert.

It would be really great for us if in his concert Jay says, "For my fans from JCNet... thank you for coming!". All of us would go "Whooooooooo!" and rant about it for the rest of our lives... :excited:

i will be more than happy to own a JCnet shirt, but like what zjie says above, i will only get it if i can get it in singapore, my own country. it's more convenient and safer too. :D and by printing the shirts in the different respective countries, i believe the production cost is cheaper and more affordable. some of us over here are students after all and cannot afford it if it is too expensive or if we need to import over. :D
