My friends just introduced me to this anime/manga. i think i'm addicted to it. so far i've seen all 42 translated eps up to date and read all 20 volumes of manga. i dont think it's going to end anytime soon, the manga still has a lot to cover and they come out with one episode of anime every week so that'll take forever to finish. just wondering if there are any other naruto fans out there.

omg i love naruto! i recently got back into anime and my brother had all the naruto episodes so i started watching. i watched episodes 1-40 in 3-4 days. it's so addicting! i've been a lil busy lately so i haven't read all the manga yet. my favorite is sasuke.. because i like pretty boys :] and he's so cool! haha. but i love naruto too. it's so cute how they act as rivals.

yay for naruto!!! That is one of three of my all time favorite animes!!

I am also on episode 42 on fansubs....and darn waiting for the next one. My only issue with that show is the waste of time to show what happened last episode. Although they don't do that as much in the newer episodes now =P

Sauske is my favorite character, because he is a good fighter. And the sand guy (forgot his name) he looks powerful. I am waiting to see what he gots in fighting skills!

If you are wondering...my two other all time favorites (high recommendations if you like naruto) are get backers and last exile.

I also like dnangel...although it isn't quite in the all time fav category yet ^_^

I have Naruto (up to episode 36, since I only collect the ToriyamaWorld fansubs) but I've not been able to cough up any time to watch them at all.

Hmm yeah, I like the Toriyama's World fansubs better. But they come out so slow! So I download the ANBU&AonE ones and then when the Toriyama's World ones come out I delete the ANBU&AonE's.

lol, my friend forced me to watch it when i first heard about it. she sat me down in front of a computer screen for a few hours. it's a pretty good anime, i like it but it's not my favorite one. I also read the manga when it came out on one of those comic books (forgot what it was called), it seems like the manga and the anime r exactly the same, not much difference, I expected the manga to have more since usually that's the case.

NARUTO IS MY FAVORITE ANIME!! sorry i had to get that out of my system once i saw the thread :) the style is similiar to DBZ with it's fighting and plot to find stronger people.. I love the people that are fansubbing all the anime and manga for us people who can't read and understand japanese.. :dunce:

i'm watching Naruto now and i love it so much! it's actually my first anime .. my friend recommended to me cos he wanted me to see Naruto, who he thinks reminds him of himself when he was younger. such a tease and a brat! naruto's so cute..

i'm at epi 43 and next match is between Naruto and KIba! man.. i'e been waiting soo long for naruto's match. it' s moving soo slow, each match each episode.. :yawn:

ever since episode 25 i started dloading anbu's versions cos TW is so slow! they used to be only 1 episode slower than anbu. ahh. i need to dl as fast as possible to cure my fix.hehe. anyway, though TW's subbing is clearer.. aiya gotta make do with anbu cos they are fast.

right now i really want to read the manga . cos anime is so slow.. but..i can't find any translated manga here.. :cry:

haha. have you used irc before? i'll try to explain it..

1. go to http://www.mirc.com/get.html and dl and install mirc
2. i think you should register it, or else you can only use it for 30 days
open mirc and go to help -> register and type in MIRC32 for full name and 1893-124286 for the code.
3. put whatever you want in full name, email address, nickname, alternative and connect
4. irc://irc2.mircx.com/mangareaders click
5. type @find whatever you want to find (eg: @find naruto vol 01)
6. results will be displayed in the same window and minimized windows that you can see across the top. look through until you find a file you want.
7. type in the trigger in the window with the file you want. the trigger is found in the window. (eg: /ctcp Lettuce|Sleep manga blah blah)
8. accept the chat. type in "dir". it'll display all files available.
9. type cd folder name (eg. cd naruto)
10. if you see something you want, type "get file's name" (get naruto - volume 19.zip)

if this is your first time on irc, in the main window you can type !help, !commands, or !rules. you'll figure a lot of stuff out by playing around. pm me if you have any problems. i left a lot of stuff out. these are just basics to get naruto manga. hopefully this wasn't too confusing. i'm a bit of a computer dummy, but if you have any questions, my brothers know everything.

after you get a file, you'll probably be queued. you should dl from lots of different places and go to ones that don't have many queues.

i think i give up following this anime. the anime is taking forever. it plays once a week in japan and ppl have to fansub it, then upload it, then we the people have to dl it. but i do give props to those who spend time fansubbing it for us all. on the other hand, the manga is slow too. i havent seen a new one in weeks. and the anime is no where near the manga. i dont wanna wait anymore.

heh anime is gettin old now...everything seems the same...girls all have big glittery eyes..and wear close to nothing and have very exsaggerated bodies, guys always have bandages on their faces, crazy hair, and what not...there hasnt been any new and exciting animes for a while....last one i can think of was evangelion...

haha i just saw episode 46 yesterday? not the anbu subbed one though. for once, i didn't think hinata was so annoying. she needs more self-confidence! she's so much cooler when she believes in herself. i feel bad for her because of her past.. stupid family. i like when hinata fights.

naruto seems to go slower than other anime. like the episodes seem shorter, less stuff happening. they show a lot of character reactions, flashbacks, thoughts, etc.. it's so torturous waiting for naruto to come outtt!!

lol. ep 48 is my fave episode so far. it's got so many funny moments and action was great! i loved the scene where Rock Lee took out his weights and then BANG! everybody was so shocked..hahahaha. and kakashi was like , " isn't it a little too heavy??!"

ooh i also like the scene when GAi was giving out advice to Rock Lee and he wanted to jot it down in a notebook, then Gai was like, No don't jot it down, u have no time to read during battle you fool! " :crazy:

i have just discoverd the joys of Naruto~! i was out with a friend.....she invited me to watch anime with her and her new friends. i was alredy an avid anime fan...so i went joyfilly. :)
we started watching it and after like 4 episodes i was hooked. i stayed and watched like...23 episodes, before i knew it, it was 3:00 AM so i had to go home. :cry: i have been on the puter non stop watching vids and reading manga~!i think my eyes are gonna pop out. :glug:

well here is the most basic summery cuz its just from memroy, but here you go.

Naruto is basicaly about a bunch of villages that are very ninja based. the main story is about a group od kids around the age of 13 going though a series of tests and adventures in order to become full fleged ninjas~! Kakashi, being cmy and i's fave is a sensei.

there are many twists and turns in the story. betrail, friendship, loads of fighting, power, kick A abilities... um... yea. its verry funny too, as i am sure you noticed from our discussions about peverts~! LOL~!

its a pretty complex storyline, evey character has a big story behind them. the creators are still continuing on too. it doesnt seem like there will ever be an end to it. LOL~!

i strongly suggest you check it out. its addicting. there are a ton of sites with more detail, but to get the whole picture of it you kinda have to either see the episodes or read the manga.

as for why Kakashi covers his eye....it is cuz he has a special left eye (i am not too sure how he got it yet. i just know it wasnt a "from birth" thing.)
anyway the eye posses the power for him to kinda tell that his opponent will do before he even does it. AND it sees everything the opponent does and Kakash can then copy what he did. so he doesnt learn new things... he copys them from others. hence why he is also called "the copy ninja"~! pretty cool huh? ~!~!~!~!~! he keeps it coverd while not using it bacause it takes alot of his energy.

yeap Kakashi covers his Sharingan eye. we dunno how he got it yet. but it's really cool. when he uses it, it takes up a lot of chakra ( sort of like energy to perform the ninja techniques)
he looks so sexy when he reveals his eye though...hehehe.

i agree with you about Garra~! when i saw the episode that showed all the flashbacks to his childhood, i almost shed a tear. ALMOST, not quite.

WE dont see him... but everyone else does... i think Sakura-chans reaction is proof that he is in fact attractive~!

it was a little manga thing included in the naruto fan book. naruto, sasuke, and sakura wanted to see kakashi's face so they treated him to ramen. but then when kakashi was taking his mask off to eat, ino popped out of nowhere onto sasuke. she blocked their view of kakashi hahah. and then it shows kakashi finished with his ramen. the girl with heart eyes isn't sakura, it's the lady at the ramen shop. only the ramen shop people got to see him. but he must be REALLY attractive because even the old man is blushing? hahah. :happy:

i love kakashi even more now ^^ have you seen the picture where he's sleeping hehe. so cute! and there's a picture of his when he was little with the 4th hokage as his sensei. i really like the 4th hokage too. he's a hottie :] i hope they do something on the past of the 4th hokage.

and kakashi was talking about how he graduated from the academy (or something like that) when he was 6. so that was 6 years earlier than naruto hehe. kakashi's so strong :love: he's only 26 too hehe.

Naruto the BEST!!!!! umm i read manga up to 208 and watched the anime up to 73 sooooo coooool especially rock lee versus gaara.... i really can't wait to watch gaara fight naruto on the anime series..... does anyone here think that naruto will become hokage???? or even better ranked than the hokage???

ericheng... i think its safe to assume that Naruto will become Hokage~! when Kazage (the sand guy) asked him if he had chosen a 5th Hokage.. all he said was.. i plan to stay for at least another 5 years..... NOW.. in 5 years Naruto will be 18.. and by then he would be alot stronger... so basically Hokage is wating for Naruto to be ready so he can become ther 5th Hokage~!
thats just the ussumptions made by me and some friends, but... if you think about it... it makes sence right?

well.... do you read the manga's shouling???? it's good eh.... he wrecked the new move completely.... raisengan is really powerful but he tends to use it too much... and half of the time he uses it misses lol..... naruto should study taijutsu a little bit off rock lee.... all he can do is jump kick on the opponent..... he's sooooooo lucky.

oh yeah k4z3ryu ummm the cursed seal is nothing to do with the demon fox..... it's a seal that when you use up all your chakra or if you are willing to let it take over you you get heaps of chakra and become really strong but if you use it too much it'll consume you and you might die.... the seal is in levels.... from where i am up to now sasuke's seal is lvl2 and he has a different hair style and enormous power

I've been watching it ever since Sasuke came on the scene :love: ...

It's airing in local televisions right now...I guess we're in the episode wherein they were in the middle of a Chunin (or is it Chunen :? ) exam and Sasuke is fighting with a long-haired guy called Ochimaru (I think :dry: ) and he was bitten on the neck and a clover-like sign appeared (or so I thought) And then Sakura was the only one left well...undamaged so she needs to take care of both Naruto and Sasuke while a group of people sent by Ochimaru are eyeing them (urgh....sorry if I do suck in my narration :dry: )

Oh well...I hope to know the next epsiode..I'm dying to know what will become of my Sasuke...will he become evil :cry: ???

Well you can blame it on the creator, mad dol :happy: . Besides, that's how Sakura's character is supposed to be. It's not her fault that her knowledge relies on written exams and such (basically information gathering) But it's quite ok for me because weak characters balances a story right (or am I wrong again :dry: )? Remember when the Three Sennins were fighting with their Summoning Jutsus?
Orochimaru had Kabuto summon the snake for him.
So I'm guessing that either Kabuto does the hand seals in order for Orochimaru to move to a new body or Orochimaru doesn't need hand seals at all to switch bodies.

As for his arms bleeding, it's because the 3rd Hokage sealed his arms.
If you look closely, there are several cuts on Orochimaru's arms.

there are two main subtitlers... Bakasan and ANBUalone.... personally i prefer Anbu, but Bakasan comes out first. LOL~! hope that helps.

Orochimaru is testing Sauske's strength and ability to survive... yes there is a chance that it could have killed him, but if Sasuke was killed Orochimaru would simply move on and find someone else to use. it would mean nothing to him if he died. as for Sauske's brother.... you have to wait and see... TRUST ME this is one thing you DONT want a spoiler to... it would ruin alot~! as for manga.. you mean you need a viewer? so you can see the manga pages?!?! if thats your problem then get "infranview"... thats what i use.. it works great and there is no virus possibilities. maybe some spyware, but spybot search and destroy takes those out easily.

bittorrent is easy to use sometimes. i just dont kno how to use it for games. i dont kno whether its burned wrong or my ps is really old but watever.

usually all u need to do is extract ur files. if theres more than one highlight all of them n then right click n extract all at the same time to a new folder. usually itll automatically give u a folder name of wat ur trying to extract. so if u were gonna extract 5 .rar naruto files than they would b combined n put in a new folder called "naruto".

That maybe true. But I read somewhere that Orochimaru took quite an interest in Sasuke because of his inheritance (I think that was because of the Advanced bloodline thingy) that the Uchiha clan had but since the whole clan was massacred, he doesn't have any choice but to lure Sasuke onto his trap, right? He may have other choices other than Sasuke (he still have his brother) but Orochimaru doesn't stand a chance if he will fight him so he's stucked with him. So why pursue killing the person you needed the most? If he really is testing Sasuke's ability, he may have thought of letting him surpass the pain of the seal first before sending in people to kill him!!!!!

Urgh....that guy is reckless...DAMN reckless...and a bit idiot too..*sigh* I think I'll stay with Gaara than Orochimaru...At least he's less evil than him...

yeah it's true.... his borther (Itachi) is the one of two sole survivors of the Sharingan clan..... Itachi was a chuunin at 7 was he not???? and then at 11 he was a leader of the ANBU clan..... and then he killed everyone in his clan except for his brother (Sasuke) and wanted him to survive to kill him... avenge his clan... Itachi then ran away and then he was classed as an S ranked criminal...... scary huh.... he has fully developed his sharingan and can also paralyze people......

Well as for me the Uchiha's are far stronger than any other clan (including Hyuga's I suppose) For instance, the Sharingan gives the ability to learn all jutsus by just activating the red pupil. The Byakugan, on the other hand is merely helpful in tracking and seeing the unforeseen so in short, both are useful in terms of seeing what others don't. But of course, you can not use the Byakugan in fights while the Sharingan will not only help you to learn more jutsus but it will also boost up your chakra as well (am I right??? Not so very sure :angel: ) So...well...it's kinda obvious that the Uchiha's do excel in some way :? ...

Urgh...are you sure the manga and the anime are the same? I dunno if we're making sense here but from the way you said it, it seems to me that it's not the same at all. I'm at volume 25 in the manga and from the way I understood it, Sasuke's been quite interested in hunting Orochimaru AFTER the Chuunin exam so he went after him followed by the gennins and Shikamaru

It was not stated in the anime nor the manga that Kakashi's Sharingan was installed, therefore, those which were said above were only hints because no one really knows how Kakashi was able to have a Sharingan when he was NOT in the Uchiha bloodline (Wow...I made sense for once, huh :? ?). Anyway, as for Itachi, he'll appear SOON so I won't spoil it and as for his hair color, it's black, dearie :happy: ... Ermmm...can't quite remember but I think he developed it when he was training with Jiraiya-san (It was stated in Chapter 154 in the manga) He was playing with this leaf and he remembered something from his school days about Iruka scolding them (for sleeping in class, obviously :dry: ) and punishing them with a test that will measure their strengths as shinobis. Anyway, as he was thinking about what Iruka-sensei said, he finally had this idea and picked up a ball then he concentrated his chakra on it then....ermmmm...it exploded? Nah...I can't describe it fully cause it's sort of...complicated, really :blush: ...

Haha, Naruto's fun but it's not exactly the most challenging series to watch. It makes you think that you know what's going on but then all of a sudden it reveals a fact that you never knew before. So the series keeps changing and you keep thinking you know what will happen but then the opposite happens. It's kind of ironic that it's predictable in that way. i was lookin at the backup site for a couple days wondering why everything was all locked up. didnt have time to really play around w/ the links till now.

i dont think itachi is gonna win just cause he can kill u w/ his sight. i mean gai knew better n said to fight by lookin at his feet. ill admit that itachi prolly has a stronger advantage b/c of that. i think naruto will b fighting against itachi eventually even though it may be just a skirmish. ero-sensei did say it was naruto's fate so u must anticipate some conflict soon from naruto and itachi. but i think itachi will b fighting sasuke b4 naruto b/c naruto is already leaving n sasuke is doin something in his "dark room".

o by the way....ur kakashi got totally messed up. lol. sorrie. i felt kinda bad for the guy. but itachi whooped his booty in a sec. :worry:

That will only be possible if Neji gets close to Itachi. Gawd, he's better than almost everybody when it comes to speed. Neji might not even stand a chance if he gits hit by his Tsukiyomi. PLUS, he's got more advantage because he's well-trained and not only that, his level is higher than theirs. Have you forgotten he was an ANBU captain? That would be a cheesy fight if you ask me. Neji won't stand a chance (not that a fight will occur between them...just a prelude as to what will happen if this event occurs :happy: ). As for Naruto, I guess he may have a better chance than Sasuke because once he gets evaded by the seal, it will only be easier for Orochimaru to enter his body and possess his mind.

no no the shadow looked like a lizard form..... and yeah gaara has a couple of new moves including desert avalanche really powerful... that's because the landscape goes to his advantage... since he can turn the rock's minerals into sand... so yeah... he can create plenty of sand... not just enough only in the gourd... so yeah... kimimaro evolved into another form so yeah.... where has shouling gone???/ i miss her... she said heaps of stuff before

ah just saw eps 84 yesturday. sasuke n naruto seemed pretty pathetic against itachi n the fish guy.

sasuke was pretty sad. his chidori was deflected so easily by itachi. it was quite pathetic. n then he got is wrist broken. that chidori was a waste. i dont kno y he had to charge it all up n run around w it against the wall. really now did u really have to vandalize the wall lol. that was un-needed damage to property n friction that slowed him down. i wonder how he'll do in the next eps though since its all about itachi vs sasuke. i saw him get pretty banged up already in the preview. sasuke is gonna b :boxed:
