i read in the newspapers, that a lady is sueing the state or something, because she got cited, when she was at the beach topless :? there's alot controversey. i mean why should guys be allowed to go topless and girls cant :dry: anways the lady she showed clips of obese men, that were shirtless and showin off their man-boobs.

anyways, the woman wants females, to be allowed to be topless where men are topless, like at beaches... but the most shockin part is that for women that are cited for being topless, they have to actually register as sex offenders :wacko: thats just crazy

Hmm.. Basically this is a “chicken or egg first ” issue for me.. It is about gender equality isn’t it?

Yes, women are allowed to go topless on Australian beaches.
Personally I feel that it's an individual choice whether you want to sunbathe topless or not. If you're not worried about people looking at your breasts then go for it.
People who are offended by topless women on beaches should probably not look at them then. *shrugs*

But I can kind of understand the concern that some people may have about this issue. For example parents with children may argue that they have the right to take their kids to the beach without half naked women around. It's okay to be conservative. Even on TV they have censoring guildlines to warn people of films that contain nudity, but if you're just hopping down to the beach with your kids, what warning is there?

I have nothing against topless women. I mean not like we've never seen breasts in our lives before. Personally, I wouldn't go out topless for anything. Is the law out already, Yukiko? And honestly I don't know who in their right minds would support FPI and MMI. Even my moslem friends in here cringe at the sound of FPI and MMI being pronounced. They say these organizations only ruin the name of Islam and should be banished. Posers, too much acting crap etc etc are what my friends say about these two. They were happy with the news that the FPI leader is being called by the police, hahaha, I was quite amazed with that.

erm, i think the law is not legally out yet. but who care, it's our right to wear anything we want. and i dont think indonesian would like to be topless in public. we still know how the limit to *open* our body
