and a few of us were finalising our business plans. one day our empire will expand worldwide and our kimbap and honey covered strawberry sticks store will appear by every starbucks. *evil cackle*

it was a remix? i thought it was a regular song. maybe since it was raining, he caught a cold or something? it was really bizzare. but he looks real good wet :shifty: not that i would ever think of him that way. like lyne said, he's just a little brother hehe.

ok the goal: open store next to every starbucks and when any of the gasoos go to starbucks, we'll have to hunt them down and make sure they come to our store as well. surveillance cams :rolleyes:

It is so hot that day (he drank Gadterade as you can see)but once-in-a-life-time experience. Whatever he did,DongWook made fans go crazy..smiling,waving,saying Thank you and I luv u in Thai. Singer Seven, who released his second album entitled “Must Listen” in Thailand on April 7, is surrounded by crowds of Thai fans every time he stages an autograph event or promotion tour there. When the singer released his first album, “Just Listen,” in 2003, he earned the title of most popular foreign artist in Thailand in terms of album sales.

Seven’s fans flock to greet their idol at the airport every time he visits Thailand. His album promotion crew said that over 300 fans greeted Seven at Bangkok International Airport on April 5, although the singer arrived late at night. Fans called out Seven’s name while local journalists competed to capture his images.

At an April 7 autograph event marking the release of Seven’s second album in Thailand, some 2,000 fans flooded the venue in downtown Bangkok. As a result, the event, which was originally to last one and a half hours, was extended by 30 minutes in a gesture of gratitude to local fans.

Before Seven’s second album was released in Thailand, its title song “Passion” reached the top of a local cable music channel's weekly music chart on April 2, beating out world-renowned artists, and remained at the top spot for three weeks in a row.

"This is yet further proof of Seven’s success, comparable to the release of his first album in 2003. Back then, we sold 70,000 copies of the album in just five days of our promotion tour. Even local music industry experts were stunned," said Seven’s agency.

The agency also added that the Thai company RS Record, which oversees the singer’s album promotion in Thailand, said Thai fans were very pleased to see a more musically mature image from Seven compared with his first album. RS Records said it was willing to spur the promotion efforts on the back of Seven’s skyrocketing popularity.

On April 8, the last day of his promotion tour, Seven will hold a showcase and a press conference for more than 500 reporters from the record industry, local broadcasting companies, and the popular media. After that, he will return to Korea to participate in an April 9 autograph event in Daegu organized by LG Telecom, then fly to Japan the following day.

Top-stars Rain and Seven will perform together in the U.S. following a joint performance in Japan. The two will sing at the Korean Music Festival, which will be held April 23 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, USA. At the festival, the largest annual music event organized by Korean-Americans, Rain and Seven will perform their hit songs "It's Raining" and "Passion" and show off their impressive dancing skills.

The news that these two top-rated artists and dancers unrivaled both in Korea and the U.S. will perform together garnered much attention among local fans. Rain and Seven released their debut albums in America on Feb. 16 and 23, respectively, and made successful debuts in Japan as well. They also participated in the "Eyelove Concert," which was held in the Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul, to benefit North Korean children.

The Korean Music Festival, which this year will be hosted by Yoo Jeong-hyun, will also feature other popular Korean artists and groups such as Wheesung, Gumi, Maya, JK Kim Dong-wook, Hong Kyung-min, In Sun-yi, Byun Jin-seop, Rumble Fish and NRG.

Singer Seven, who released his second album entitled กฐMust Listenกฑ in Thailand on April 7, is surrounded by crowds of Thai fans every time he stages an autograph event or promotion tour there. When the singer released his first album, กฐJust Listen,กฑ in 2003, he earned the title of most popular foreign artist in Thailand in terms of album sales.

Sevenกฏs fans flock to greet their idol at the airport every time he visits Thailand. His album promotion crew said that over 300 fans greeted Seven at Bangkok International Airport on April 5, although the singer arrived late at night. Fans called out Sevenกฏs name while local journalists competed to capture his images.

At an April 7 autograph event marking the release of Sevenกฏs second album in Thailand, some 2,000 fans flooded the venue in downtown Bangkok. As a result, the event, which was originally to last one and a half hours, was extended by 30 minutes in a gesture of gratitude to local fans.

Before Sevenกฏs second album was released in Thailand, its title song กฐPassionกฑ reached the top of a local cable music channel's weekly music chart on April 2, beating out world-renowned artists, and remained at the top spot for three weeks in a row.

"This is yet further proof of Sevenกฏs success, comparable to the release of his first album in 2003. Back then, we sold 70,000 copies of the album in just five days of our promotion tour. Even local music industry experts were stunned," said Sevenกฏs agency.

The agency also added that the Thai company RS Record, which oversees the singerกฏs album promotion in Thailand, said Thai fans were very pleased to see a more musically mature image from Seven compared with his first album. RS Records said it was willing to spur the promotion efforts on the back of Sevenกฏs skyrocketing popularity.

On April 8, the last day of his promotion tour, Seven will hold a showcase and a press conference for more than 500 reporters from the record industry, local broadcasting companies, and the popular media. After that, he will return to Korea to participate in an April 9 autograph event in Daegu organized by LG Telecom, then fly to Japan the following day.

Amante - thanks for the news! :hugz: and Se7en had a 'dance battle' with Xiao Zhu way back in 2003 when he was promoting in Taiwan. they both went onto ASOS yu le bai fen bai and were asked to dance. i can upload a clip for you if you want, Bi is also on the clip. =P ive been trying to find the full episode, but i havent had a lot of luck with BT. i guess cpop fans dont circulate old clips like kpoppers do. :oops:

actually, i dont think theyve released their albums in America. so i think its a mistake, it should be Japan cos the dates match up. at least i havent heard anything about US release for either gasoo. :unsure:

Hmm, last month was my birthday so my mom gave in and got me the Jay stuff. I got the Grandeur de D Major and the Incomparable DVD, which was like $60 and then I got some other little Jay stickers and stuff. Yes, my Mom rocks! girls, my wookie collection is finally completed today!!! Yes I have Just listen album in my hands coz my Korean friend bought it for me along with Jinusean's 4th album. I'm so happy, I'm on the moon. Wookie sarang... words can not express how I feel right now!! She even brought me TWO HUGE posters of Sang Woo oppa from the face shop... Isn't it great!!! I feel like crying now... :cry:

I WANTED TO BUY IT!!! it's soooo big!!! but guess how much it costs.... P2250!!! and it's about US$40! it's too expensive, isn't it? or not...? it's soo big, about 16"x16".... and thick! too bad, it's covered with a foil, can't see through the inside..... anyone of us here has that book???

Pao - i have the phtobook. :happy: you cant sell it if the foils been broken on the outside, at least that is what it states on the YG sticker that covers the flap. but i think its so people cant sell the items individually or take the VCD and stickers without buying the entire book. :unsure: i still have the foil cover, it had a prettiful 7 on it <3

but yeh, $40 seems a lot for it. :oops: my Shinhwa photobook cost around $40 from yesasia but Se7ens wasnt more than $30 cos he was still a newbie. =X

go for it if youre willing to buy it at extra cost. the pictures are gorgeous and really high quality. the clips on the vcd are really good cos dongwookies just adorable. ill take some piccies of mine if you want to have a look..and then you can decide whether you want to go back and buy it ^^

Japan Showcase

It has been decided that Se7en will do a "2005 the SE7EN Style" concert schedule in Japan, and will announce his plans on April the 18th.

Se7en will perform and promote his second single "Style", and also "Hikari", live in concert, going around 7 metropolises in Japan. He will perform everyday for a week, beginning with a public performance in the Tokyo Bay NK Hall at 3:00 on May 22nd. He will move on to Osaka Hukuoka, Hiroshima, Nagoya and other locations, and will finish on June 1st.

Before the concert tour, Se7en will appear in the NHK music television program "Pop Jam" on May 16th. It will begin at 7:00pm and will feature such top Japanese artists as Orange Range, 175R and MCU.

Se7en to Tour Seven Japanese Cities in May

Top artist Se7en, 21, will embark on a Japanese tour beginning with Tokyo on May 22. Seven made a debut in Japan on Feb. 23 with his single “Hikari,” and will release his second single, entitled “Style,” on May 18. His “2005 Se7en Style” tour of seven Japanese cities will include Tokyo (May 22, Bay NK Hall), Osaka (May 23, Namba Hatch), Fukuoka (May 24, Drum Logos), Hiroshima (May 25, Kurabkatro), Nagoya (May 26, Diamond Hall), Sapporo (May 30, Zepp Sapporo) and Sendai (June 1, Zepp Sendai).

Se7en will fly to Japan on May 4 and participate in the NHK Pop Jam on May 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tokyo NHK Hall. He will perform on the same stage with top Japanese artists such as Orange Range, L'Arc-en-Ciel and 175R.

Se7en’s second single to be released in Japan contains the title song “Style,” written by the hit-making producer D.A.I., “Forever Mind,” co-written by Se7en and D.A.I., and “The One,” written by One Time member Teddy.

I don't think she really went anywhere since she said her friend is paying everything for her and it's like a last minute decision. I'll see when when she returns!

Hopefully I can get a job soon so I can start my Se7en collection!

Once when I was going on a download frenzy of Se7en clips I somehow ended up downloading a general dancing clip and it was really funny XD It didn't have Se7en in it but it had Bi and his dancing was very funny. I thought that most of the people dancing were doing it for fun because if you saw it you would be like WTH? :crazy: There were a few people who were dancing serious though, like Wheesung. Okay, this is my first time getting to listen to SE7EN's entire single for Style, and OMG FOREVER MIND IS SO PRETTY!!1!!!! Style follows along the same style as Hikari with the pretty twinkling sounds, but is much more piano heavy. I like how Style is keeping with SE7EN's Japanese image. Even though this is a good dance song, it still has that sweet feeling to it that fits SE7EN. And Forever Mind sounds generic to me, but it's still very pretty. I LOVE the chorus where SE7EN's voice soars up and then levels out. It's so very pretty. *_* Yeah, and THE ONE. There is a reason why I adore Teddy's creative skillz0rs. It's a nice ballad that reminds me faintly of... some other song that I can't place. @_@

While his second single entitled “Style” having reached the ninth spot on the daily
Japanese Oricon chart on the day of its release on May 18th, singer Seven
successfully opened “2005 Se7en Style,” a series of concerts to tour around 7
cities in Japan. The first concert of the series was held on May 22dn at Bay NK Hall
in Tokyo.
A total of 500 million won was invested to hold the concert that attracted 6,000
Japanese fans of Seven. With humorous comments and brilliant dance moves,
Seven captivated the hearts of Japanese women who came to see him live on

Se7en Number 1 in Thailand

Se7en released its 2nd album "Must Listen" in Thailand last April. Last week, the song "Tattoo" ranked first in the music chart of Channel V. He surpassed Mariah Carey and Backstreet Boys. These mentioned singers ranked ninth and fifteenth respectively with their songs "It's Like That" and "Incomplete". Se7en's "Passion" is placed in the seventeenth position. In spite of the success this 20 year old singer is experiencing, he is currently concerned with his vocal problem. A nodule appeared in his vocal cords which worries his Korean and Japanese agencies. The latter proposed to him to lip sync but he refused to do so. According to a person in YG Entertainment, Se7en never lip syncs. Se7en doesn't want to harm his image and the image of his fellow Korean singers in Japan.

Se7en has topped the pop chart in Thailand, selling more albums than world famous stars like Mariah Carey and the Backstreet Boys. To tell you the truth, I'm so behind when it comes to Wookie stuff lately. There's not much about him except for his perf in Japan. I feel detached from him lately. Can it be that his health problems cause the Japanese and 3rd JIB launch to be delayed? I don't want to push him for both JIBs because I'm still satisfied with his previous records. I just want him to get well soon.

I noticed that he's taking a much more mature approach for photoshoots but there are still traces of the good old Wookie that we've come to know ^^

and i think the majority of his fans feel that way. we dont mind when he releases his next cd, cos we'd rather he stayed healthy. unlike his fellow YG-ers, hes never out of the spotlight anyway so its not as though we're craving to hear new material. *looks longingly at 1TYM*

but errr..ive uploaded some Holding the Flower performances. it came up when i was talking to a friend and she didnt know he ever performed it. it was way back in 2003, few of the earlier performances. he throws roses out to his fans hehe :D

BTW, I finally got the Se7en CDs that I've been dying for. Must Listen finally came from Yesasia. (2 weeks late!) When I was shopping for a new pair of jeans with mom, I spotted the Hikari CD! So I begged my mom for it and she said that I had to give up the jeans for the CD. So I got it. :D

i love reading the lyrics so much :wub: a friend translated it briefly a while back so i got the gist of it then, but thanks for posting a more exact version, lyne :hugz: this is easily my favourite teddy composition <3 if i could change one thing, it would be the english at the beginning. as cute as it is, id appreciate being able to listen to this song without giggling =X

I think he is such a great singer and I love his 2 new songs "The One" and "Forever Mind". The article isnt about SE7EN, its mainly about the concert, but it mentions that SE7EN will attending it.

Basically it says that SE7EN will be attending Channel V’s 2005 Taipei’s pop music concert which will be held on August 20 at 7PM in front of Taipei city government plaza.

There are only 2 lines about SE7EN so I’ll just translate those.

Korean artist SE7EN will accompany fans and crazily pass the weekend night? (not too sure about the wording there ><)

SE7EN will arrive on the 18th in Taiwan.

學日文1年半的SE7EN和學日文兩年半的吳建恆，互相以日文交談，SE7EN也聊到進軍日本的辛苦，他也 很想盡快進軍台灣、香港等亞洲各地，他無奈的說：「要是有好幾個SE7EN就好了！」雖然這次來累到有些沒 精神，但聽到來自香港歌迷的call in，SE7EN當場開心的宣布：「下個月我就會去香港宣傳！」令歌迷在電話那頭意外的興奮尖叫。


Korea's se7en has been busy with recording and producing his 3rd album and preparing for his tokyo concert. Taking out time to come to taiwan, he revealed how tired he was "I wish there was 2 of me!"

Se7en's only radio appearance was on chung guang's "Entertainment E-Age". Ken wu (host of the show) prepared 7 gifts for him, including Jay chou's album "Qi li xiang" (common jasmine orange), "77" milk chocolate, throat lozenges etc. Se7en was really happy and was very interested in Jay chou's cd. Ken Wu also introduced to him about this representative taiwanese artist.

Se7en, who has been learning japanes for 1 and a half years talked to Ken Wu, who has learnt japanese for 2 and a half years, in japanese. Se7en also said that entering the japanese market is alot of hard work for him. He also wants to hurry and spend some time in taiwan, hong kong and other places in asia as well, and he said "If there were a few se7ens that would be great!" Although he has been tired during his trip this time to taiwan, when he heard hong kong fans calling in, se7en was happy and announced that he was going to hong kong next month, sending the fans on the other end screaming with excitement

韓國藝人SE7EN，為「台北流行音樂節」來台，昨天和路嘉怡(小米)一起在西門町「逛大街」。SE7EN 沿途看見中元普渡拜拜的民眾，不知情的他，還以為西門町的民眾都篤信佛教哩！

SE7EN 昨天參加「流行in house」節目錄影，21歲的他，置身在充斥著流行服飾店家的街頭，興奮的逛過一家又一家。SE7EN和 小米挑了半天，看上一條有特殊口袋造型的寬版 HIP HOP牛仔褲，連小米都忍不住說：「他喜歡穿的服裝，是屬於HIP HOP裡比較可愛的類型，很適合他。」


不過，當SE7EN開心逛街之餘，卻發現每間店家門口都擺著案頭，還在門前焚燒紙錢。SE7EN好奇之餘， 透過翻譯才知道原來這是台灣民俗中元普渡。SE7EN恍然大悟後說：「看到那麼多人在燒紙錢，很虔誠的感覺 ，我還以為西門町的人都信佛教耶！」

korean artist se7en is here in taiwan for "taipei pop music festival" and yesterday he went shopping with lu jia yi (otherwise known as xiao mi) at ximending. Along the way, se7en saw people who were burning paper money for the "ghost season" .Se7en, who didnt know, thought that they were all devoted buddhists.

Se7en was recording for channel v show "Trend in house". The 21 year old singer walked through clothing store after clothing store excitedly. Se7en and xiao mi looked around for sometime before he found a pair of hip hop style jeans with special pockets. Xiao mi said "The style of clothing he likes is hip hop mixed with a 'cute' flavour, it suits him well."


As se7en walked along the street, he saw that every store were burning paper money at the front. Se7en was curious and found out through the translator that this was a taiwanese tradition. Se7en said : "I saw so many ppl burning paper money, it gave me a sense of devotion, i thought ppl here were all buddhists!"


cultural note: i had no idea what that thing they mentioned in the article was so i asked a taiwanese person and they told me that the 7th month on the lunar calendar is known as the "ghost month"~ during ghost month, it is believed that the doors to where spirits are will open, so those ppl burning paper money etc are doing it for the spirits~ so i guess it's sorta like a superstition... :)

I guess the source was mostly referring to the Tae7en love? I know gasoos getting close can be misleading to people not aware of the Korean culture. Korean guys just aren't afraid of showing their love for each other as brothers. You get them openly hugging on stage, holding hands, even kissing. That's a difference you'll spot if you're a fan of Shinhwa and a fan of 1TYM - 2 of the 1TYM-ers grew up in LA and thus aren't as open about showing affection compared to Shinhwa.

Se7en's 3rd Jap Single

On October 19, he will release his 3rd single for the Japanese market.

The 3rd single is comprised of "Start Line" and "Forever" with two instrumentals for both. As a premier the DVD of the May Style Event concert in NK hall is also included.

The new song "Forever" will be used as a background music of the coming horror TV drama "Chakushin ari" meaning that you are just receiving amobile phone call on TV Asahi.

And he will go to Hong Kong for investment concert with Lexy next Tueseday, September 13.

heya guys..... the October 22 concert is pushing through.. and guess what??? THEY'RE BRINGING THE KOREAN FANS TO JAPAN!

whoah. that's a lotta money.... but atleast they (YG) don't seem to cheat so much out of the fans, unlike SM...)

YG has a tour package available for lucky se7en fans, and the package includes the 2-day Japan visit which includes a tour of Japan (some places only), se7en's concert.. and the fan meeting....

it costs roughly about US$1300.... it's expensive for me, how about you guys?

Se7en's third album is being postponed till next year. As soon as his concert in Japan is over, he'll continue working on it. Poor Se7en... his first concert is bringing lots of stress. Not to mention the release of his third Japanese single and before, it was his third album too. Talk about being overworked. :oops: Well, I don't mind waiting. I just hope those words were all true <3 He's always been so honest to his fans, it would make the entire saga worse if he was covering anything up --; But we won't think like that! It's gonna be such an amazing album..im glad he realises that a day's wait can be like a month for a fan! Recently a South Korean entertainment website held a poll to select the artist that students on campus is most anticipated to see perform. In approximately 25,000 votes, the two winners, Se7en and Rain, won with their great singing and hot dancing moves. They both got the number 1 and number 2 spot respectively. Se7en received 21.6% of the votes, narrowly winning Rain who received 21.1% of the votes.
In recent years, Se7en has been having a pretty good career in Japan and is about to release his 3rd single in Japan. On the 22nd of this month, he will also be holding a concert in Yokohama and receives much support from his fans in his native hometown. As for the male group, Shinhwa, with a 4.3% vote, they received 3rd place. It seems like South Korean students support those that can both sing and dance well.
