*raises hands, jumps up and down*
im from the Netherlands! but you know we cant speak Dutch all the time right, since this is an international english speaking forum. :wink2: we have to let other non-dutch speaking people know what we're talking about. we could talk about our country or something?

Lol, what about? About our 'pride' Frans Bauer???
Oh, didn't you watch the TMF Awards? I saw pieces, thought it was very boring! But Renate did ok. OMG, Jeroen and Theo, finally leaving TMF, the grandfathers of TMF are leaving, lol.
ss111
04-02-2005, 01:17 PM
yestersay I also watch the TMF awards
i really like Jamie Cullum at the begin and Marco Borsato.
Katie23
04-02-2005, 04:41 PM
Good old Marco Borsato, I guess he won best artist national this year too? The story is getting old. But he is a good singer.
xJayChoux
04-03-2005, 12:29 AM
OH! i only watched two small parts....uhm...who won the Artists of the Decade Award? (please tell me its NOT tiesto. T___T)
but Marco Borsato is good...at least he tries to be hip with Ali B.
no way?! are Jeroen Post and Mental Theo leaving TMF?! but why?! they were...quite OK.
ss111
04-03-2005, 09:32 AM
it's marco borsato that won the Artist of the decade award:-)
xJayChoux
04-03-2005, 11:51 PM
oh yay! :excited:
i think he deserves it, i mean, all generations like his music, so why not? :P
i think his performance at the TMF awards was quite good, it was such a surprise to see an old man dancing on the piano.
Katie23
04-09-2005, 09:30 AM
Seriously, Marco dancing on the piano? Wuhaha, that's funny.
Hey xJayChoux , ur English is very good, where did you learn it, coz the way I remember, 15 year olds in the NL aren't that good in English. They really should take French and German out the the main curriculum, and focus on Dutch and English.

Katie23
04-10-2005, 12:12 PM
Hihi, oee, this topic it getting started! Wanna learn Dutch huh? Well, this is the place! What do you wanna learn?
Hmm, if I'm correct, ppl from NL are: Dione (welcome to the forum btw), ss111, xJayChoux, and me, wow, that's like....*counts*...FOUR people! Woohoooo!
Question...what do you mean with *kick the pidgeon*? I guess it's something from another conversation...
Can't believe there are only 4 dutch members...coz i know there are more Dutch Jay fans...
xJayChoux
04-10-2005, 02:26 PM
yeah...he danced on the piano during his performance with Jamie Cullum.
Katie, you can call me Sinny, if you want. it's kinda awkward to see people calling me xJayChoux nowadays. uhm...well, this forum helped me a lot with my english, i remember my english 2 years ago...it was horrible. and ditto on the French and German, i wouldnt mind if they scrap German, it's almost the same as Dutch. T_T but french is quite helpful... and you know hoofdpijn right, i taught jessca this word and she pronounces it as hoofed pigeon. :P
patya unnie, LOL!!! i cant believe you actually remembered the ik maak schoon part!! (im pretty much sure you wrote it down somewhere, but still! :excited:) :hugz:
jessca, how i wish you were in the NL now, i so want to teach you the proper pronouncation of hoofdpijn. *huggles*
Welcome Dione! please join our convos and enjoy your stay!
Katie23
04-10-2005, 03:01 PM
Wuhaha, hoofed pigeon, lol. That's funny. I didn't realise so quickly that a for me so simple word like hoofdpijn is pronounced so differently if you look at it in an English way, haha. *Tryling to read some Dutch words with English pronouncation, lol*
Learning English from this forum is just another good thing about JC-net :)
xJayChoux
04-10-2005, 03:37 PM
haha i know! i dont want to think about how theyd pronounce something like "geschiedenis" in English.
JCNET was the first forum i ever went to and i love it to bits. (despite all the no0bs and leechers) im so glad to know all of you! :hugz:
Dione

I live near Utrecht. Not so many Chinese ppl in my town, I love going to Den Haag, my favorite town, for its cultural aspects, food and shops. Would choose to live in DH if I would move.
Hmm, how would non-dutch speaking people pronounce 'koeienuiers'? hihi.
Dione
04-10-2005, 09:04 PM
i live in Rotterdam, also Zuid-Holland and i'm 16 years old. Love Jay for a long time  ...uhm...what do you exactly want to know about me?
"koeienuiers" :? whahaha...don't know...it's quite difficult for the non-dutch speaker...
and i've another question...(don't mind me with my questions), do you speak cantonese or mandoran? uhm...i speak cantonese
Katie23
04-10-2005, 11:39 PM
