Grandeur de D Major is French, and not hard to figure out the translation to be something about greatness of "D Major"

D Major being a musical key where the F and C notes are sharp.

Anyways, I remember reading that the title is a play on the chinese title (D Diao De Hua Li) where "D" can also be "di" (低) the word for "Low" . And that somehow turns to "low key"

So the title becomes "Greatness in Low Key" ...very fitting of Jay huh? Achieving all the fame while being pretty...well low key, down to earth kinda guy.
I could be wrong, but it sure makes sense to me
(I mean why did he pick "D" and not "C" major or something...so the play on words theory works well)
