Has any1 noticed that on the back of Jay's CD's there seems to be a little silver sticker that says "Holiday Music Group"
if u hold it up to the light it's sorta shiny and like a rainbow color

I was told by my computer teacher that the way u can tell that a Windows cd is real is by the silver surface that goes rainbow color in the light.....

mayb its the same with Jay cd's, if so its a good way to ID if a CD is fake or not
I don't have all of Jay's CD's only the latest 1's and they all seem to have it, they're all double disc sets so i dunno bout his albums that are only single disc.........

Does every1 else have it on the back of their Jay cd's?
anyways its a little little sticker, and if u have bad eye sight u won't be able to see the writing , try yo hold it up to the light and u'll c the writing.............

though the cd that my cous got 4 me in china that's fake doesn't have it either, its a good way to pin point the real copies

It just the print of sticker "Holiday" the one as you will see in behind Jay in the Incomparable Stage ! If you get the covered plastic out of the CD box, it will go.

But I still don't think that the Holiday sticker can make sure the CD doesn't the pirated one, they also can have a faked sticker if they want to

eva_dreaming, what is exactly your question ?

eva_dreaming, is it my impression that you like number a lot, or you don't know how to spell? "any1" "every1" "4"?

Anyway, I think the rainbow sticker you are talking about is the holographic sticker record company put on the album. The china bootleg version, although bootlegged, are still made by the record company in china (techinically speaking, they are still legal) so they have the holographic sticker.

Pirated CDs, meaning CDs made by illegal vendors, usually wrapped in plastic sleeves, don't have that sticker.

sorry, its the internet and i'm used to writing short hand...internet and sms's and bad for one's spelling....hehe , it used to be worse except someone commented before that they couldn't understand my short hand so i try not to do it to much anymore....but i thought the numbers ere ok cause everyone can still understnad it...if its annoying i'll try to stop
any way the sticker that i'm talking about

at the bottom right corner of this dvd
i checked all my "real" cd's (i think they r) and they all have it........
the one fake cd i have of jays that my cousin bough tme doesn't have it though
so i thought that this sticker was an indication that the cd is real....mayb not that's y i posed this question here.......to see if anyone knew

-------edit-----------
oppps the picture a bit too big so i edited it down.....

sorry not that clear....its cause i left the plastic on on the dvd to prtect it from damage

and most of my cd's are double discs and the stick is only on the cover that holds the 2 cds in one package so if you don't have that then u won't see the sticker on the individual cd's and on my incomparable dvd mine has a cover that holds the actual dvd... the sticker is on that, if you don't have that cover you don't have the sticker.....so you can't tell if you had the sticker or not

Hey eva.

Its not a indication that its a real or a bootleg. Its just that Jay belongs to Holiday Music Group company. He didnt belong to them when he first started out.

Its just like warner music putting a warner music sign on the album, its make people recognise their company.

but the holiday sticker is a little more complictaed then choosing a font and slapping it on to say warner music or something, which any pirated cd can do.....the holographic thing is suppose to be harder to print so i assumed that the pirated cd's won't have them........i was told that you can't just print the holographic sticker from just anywhere........

No doubt about that.

But we wouldnt know if those stickers are still gonna be there if say, Jay leaves Holiday music Group or the group just decides not to have them anymore.

If you want to know if the CD is real. Easy, but it from a recognise shop that sells CD/VCD/DVD. besides, a sticker cant tell much, can it?
