Lots of his songs have made me cry before, but the first must be "cannot speak".......:cry:
Then it's "The Iron Box Of Small Island"....yes the song is touchy.....very touchy....

well, the ones that mean more to me, and makes me rather 'emotional' as you would put it, would most probably be:
Black Humour
Silence, because the lyrics touch me deeply
Split- because it seems to reflect my life somewhat with school and all
The end of the world- personally, of all his lyrics, i like this one most, i relate to it in more ways than i'd imagined
happier than before- because this brings back memories of certain events.
Final battle- because it somewhat reminds me of friendships
and finally, Peninsula iron box, because i find the meaning so much deeper in it, and i can somehow relate.

some makes me happy, like Simple love, and some make me feel hyped up, like ninja, dragon fist, e.t.c

and i guess, we can probably keep this if emotional refers to other emotions as well, but if it's mainly for sad songs, then we probably don't need this...well, it's not really my call.

Songs that make me emotional or songs that sound emotional?

Well, songs that make me sad are...I'd say that An Jing is the saddest song on earth.. The pure emotion in his voice is just wonderful. Shi Jie Mo Ri, Fen Lie, and Kai Bu Liao Kou are also songs that always make me sad.

As for songs that always make me happy/content, I'd say Ni Bi Cong Qian Kuai Le and Ye Ye Pao de Cha always put a smile on my face.

Then, there are those songs that I just adore and that always.. bring out some kind of emotion in me.. like Dad, I've Come Back and Sorry.

Really though, the winner of all time has to be An Jing. That is the most emotional song in Jay's large arsenal.

The thing is that the music itself and the way Jay sings it almost always makes it clear before the lyrics....
example Black Humour and An Jing gives sad piano solos and sad sounds like the voice dragging of Hei Se You Mo....While An Jing....is An Jing ;)you can hear that he sings from the heart.
By that, you can also say that about his latest single, Dong Feng Po---the er hu sounds are killing me.....love it!

I agree that Can't Speak is a very emotional song... Jay has many slow songs but Can't Speak has such sad lyrics!
