I think i like him the most in Hotel Ier. I don't like Winter Sonata that much though, the stories is too slow for me and make me lazy to watch it, but i finish it though.

I'm kinda surprised with him in Scandal, his first movie. There he become a playboy and make love with lots of girls. Wll not lots..some..

I didn't even finish watching Winter sonata! I as too lazy to watch it plus I had exams when it was airing here.
I also atched Hoteliers, but it was kinda boring ot me too. >.<...........so I guess the first impression he gave me was nothing much. I really could only recall myself saying "oh that man in the eyeglass" when I started to watch "Have we really love", but then I fall in love wiht the drama and of couse Yon-sama's superb acting skill! I really would love to purchase the DVD set too, but apparently couldn't for now and plus I miss the first 4 episodes and the last episode (before he fell asleep and never...........>.< opps spoiler). That was a super sad drama. T_________T

I don't want to watch "Untold Scandal", because...........um.............it has nudity right? He's such a great actor he could do anything. I remember reading this long long article on him and he said he's a perfectonist because he could blame himself or scold himself for not putting 100% when acting so he could call for cut if he's not happy with his own acting. *weird*

Min..yes he is naked in some part of the movie  I remember i have to watch it in my own room and make sure that my mom not coming to my room
I still dunno why japanese girls love him a lot. All i can say is that he is a good actor.

Untold Scandle, I like this movie. Haha...you know what I like, hehe... Well, I have a closefriend that like BYJ like me. But when she watched this movie, she changed her mind immediately. She said she can't imagine that he can acted in that role. She upset with him very much. I often told her that it's only his role not him! Anyway, she don't like him anymore until now. :worry: But for me, I still like him whatever he played in this movie. God!!! His body is very perfect! Haha...

Firstly, I watched him from Hotelier drama and then Winter Sonata. He's the man in my dream. lol. :shy:

lily, That's an "April Snow", right? with Son Ye Jin. I find the news of this drama here.

Bae Yong-jun, Son Ye-jin Shoot First Scene of "April Snow"
posted Mar 21 2005

http://english.kbs.co.kr/ICSFiles/artimage/2005/03/21/c_ent_nws/0321_bae_t.jpg

The filming set of the movie "April Snow," starring Bae Yong-jun, was opened to reporters for the first time in Samcheok, Gangwon Province. On that day, the usually serene village near a squid fishing port was crowded with over 350 journalists.

The scene filmed in front of the reporters was the first date of the movie's main characters In-soo (played by Bae Yong-jun) and Seo-young (played by Son Ye-jin). It was an ordinary dating scene of a man and a woman enjoying the warm sunshine together. In the scene, the two characters realize for the first time that they have strong feelings for each other.

"I feel like I am learning acting from scratch. Although I am well familiar with director Heo's style, I never imagined it would be so different this time," said Bae. But he added that by the time the movie is finished shooting, his acting style will be much more similar with the director's work style. "It's a transformation in terms of acting rather than in terms of character," noted Bae.

Apart from Bae, there is another reason high expectations are being placed on the movie: the lead actress Son Ye-jin, who is known to be very talented in melodramatic acting. Her character falls in love with Bae's character, and the two begin a complicated and entangled relationship. Since both actors are adept at melodramatic roles, their acting in the first filmed scene looked very real.

"April Snow" will open in September of this year.

Look the pic! They're walk hand in hand with each other. Wha...jeolous. Haha...

I like him alot in Winter Sonata, can't stop watching that series. He's not all that handsome but there's something about him that makes girls die over. So, to me, wahh he's the ideal man!! Also very tall and yes he has a nice body!! Saw him swimming in Hotelier with nothing on except an underpants, orhhh he's got such long legs!!

i fell in love with bae when he acted in hotelier - my fav tv series after " endless love " . then i watched " winter sonata " and almost fell asleep - not his fault , just poor scripting and editing . first movie he acted - untold scandals , made me admire him once again for his marvelous acting skill ( this is the korean version of " dangerous laisons ). recently i watched his latest movie " april snow". his acting is still good ( and his bod is really primed ) but i think the director is overly indulgent and the editing is too unrestrained - so laid back that it is tedious.
btw - what is the recomendation for that other tv series - is this love ? is is worth going through the 44 chapters ?

^ does that drama also stars Kim Hye and Su Yoon Son Ha? if so, i think i saw the majority of the episodes of "is this love?". it's an okay drama. bae yong joon and his sister are poor. bae yong joon goes after the rich girl but he falls in love with his professor (the professor also falls in love with him - if i remember correctly, before they fall in love with each other, they didn't get along.). complication arises. the drama then gets sad (something bad happens to bae yong joon). i don't know if the ending is sad or happy, because i didn't watch the ending. >_<
