I started last night. but it was soooooooo sloooooooowwww. :sleeping: mainly because there were 26 people trying to DL the same file, but only 1 person with a seed for us to upload. so I went to D-addicts and posted a request for more seeders and now we've got 3 seeds up, so basically, it's gone down to an expected DL time of 1 week to 1 day. :sweat:

btw, I invited the new member who noticed my banner to come and join us if she wanted. hope she comes. :happy:

:wacko: seriously that BT DL and UL thing was a mystery to me until yesterday when I asked my bro.
bascially, when you've BTed a file from a paritcular site, you're then considered a "seed" in which other ppl can DL off you, because you now have the file. However you need to keep your file in your BT file DL program window so that others can DL off you. Once you remove that file from your DL window, then that's one less seed for other ppl to DL from. so in order for the DLing to be fast, ppl need to keep their files in their DL window, so there'll be lots of seeds available. technically by doing this, ppl are actively sharing files. I know I've probably confused you. :wacko:

No, I haven't been able to DL vol 1 yet. Been too busy trying to DL full house eps, and didn't want to make things even slower by DL the album.
I found another site with k-pop stuff and managed to DL ep 5 in less than 1 hour. :-) it was a much smaller file and was on yousendit so didn't take long to DL. but the unfortunate thing is a lot of the other eps at this site are corrupt. >_<

So I've got ep 5..... I SO want to watch it!!!! but don't wanna spoil the story by skipping the other eps. >_<

Teresa: Ooh, I went back to the ste just then and the piccies worked for me. I now have a mini collection of hawt Bi clips :-) I think it's good that you can still see the not so perfect points of Bi even while you're drooling over him. For me, the clip of the concert with the three women touching him was a bit..:glug: I think "Ji Hun" is more accurate, Ji Hoon looks a bit...sloppy. :sweat:

Jess: Ooh, what's MISA? Don't tell me it's I'm Sorry I Love You (although I see the couple in your banner, haha), for some reason I think that name sounds so corny. I'm sorry I love you?! teresa - Mmm, a lot of soompiers tend to not like Bi as much because they think he's a little overrated. Not to say that he doesn't deserve all the fame that he's been getting, but their line of reasoning is he isn't as great as everyone makes him out ot be. I sort of thought that way until I downloaded his albums and was surprised to find that he was a pretty good singer. (From reading the threads of him, it seemed like people didn't think he could sing.)

Bi might be an acquired taste though. Some people might be put off by his fashion. I know I was until I figured out the man could dance. XD~

And soompi's new downloading system is sort of ... eh. It does save loading time, but it will probably be a biatch to find clips from specific artists now. And if people don't put descriptive requests, it's hard to know what you're getting. AND what do we do if we want to say "could someone upload recced songs from so and so?" T_T

I never knew he existed until a couple of weeks ago and being a supporter of Jay, I've come to set very high standards on which artistes I will support....and I don't mean to sound arrogant or anything by saying that. :angel: But Ji Hun's strong vocals did attract me to start listening to his music. Sure, I initially took notice of him coz of his looks :rolleyes: but I wouldn't still be here raving about him if there was nothing worth raving about behind the face and body.

Nope, all Yousendits go into the new Sticky posted by catseyes. So in your case if you're providing both a YSI and a Briefcase, then briefcase goes into the normal thread (or you make a new thread if it doesn't belong in the existing DL threads) and the YSI still has to go into the Sticky.
But this only applies for the Other DLs and Links Forum, so not for Jay related files.

Bi (23) and Kangta (26) are male leads in a drama that is planned to air on May 2nd. Both fall in love with an older woman in their respective dramas.

Bi and Kangta are appearing in MBC TV "Cruel Love" and KBS 2TV "LoveHolic" respectively. They are playing the roles of YongGi and Kangwook and are competing in acting not singing.

Kangta debuted as H.O.T in 1996 and gained lots of popularity. Bi debuted in 2002 with his 1st album and in 2005 at the MTV Asia Aid he recieved The best popular singer award. He kept his popularity in the music industry.

But Kangta debuted 6 years earlier then Bi and when Bi debuted H.O.T broke up and Kangta went solo as a ballad singer.

In May on Monday and Tuesday at 10pm, both Bi and Kangta are playing the same character. Both love older woman and they don't believe in love.

Kangta's drama "Love Holic" is going to air after "1829". The drama draws a story of a teacher and student's love. The teacher is played by Kim Minsun and Kangta is the student. The filming of this drama started on the 3rd.

Kangta appeared in a chinese drama last year "The Magician" but in Korea this is his first drama. Kangta goes to jail for the teacher he loves and reunites with her in 5 years.

"Cruel Love" is airing on the same day as "Love Holic." Bi has everything because his father has a hotel business. He plays a cold character that is opposite of him. He was born with a love that was forbidden so he doesn't trust any women and always draws his mother and is rough.

Just like Kangta, Bi's partner has not been decided yet.

Loveholic is going to start filming in Kangwondo and Cruel Love is going to film in France.

Bi not appearing in "Cruel Love"

Singer Bi canceled his appearance in MTV Miniseries "Cruel Love."

Bi was casted as the male lead for MTV "Cruel Love" in January which is supposed to air in May. But because of his health and other issues he had canceled his appearance. Bi finished his 3rd album activities with the Busan Concert last month. Because of his busy schedules, his health had deteriorated. For 3 years after he debuted in 2002 he did not get any rest and continued with his album and acting activities one after another.

Bi said "I'm sorry i couldn't keep the promise to appear in this drama to all my fans and the drama producers."

I have gone to the Help/ FAQ section, read it a few times, downloaded vobsub and all the necessary components and it's installed with compatible names, but still......Korean!! ahhh.... jbali: Never fear, Yue is here! All you have to do to play subtitles (they are in .srt format right? Haven't tried this with any other types) is download BS Player. Just go to google and download the latest version. Then all you have to do is make sure the subtitle and clip have the same file name (of course the vid will end in .avi/mpg/etc and the subtitle will be srt) and it should play :happy:

Bi, Surgery in April...

Singer Bi is recieving surgery next month.

Due his surgery, it looks like he won't be able to appear in MBC Cruel Love.

Bi's company JYP Entertainment said "Bi always had stuffy nose and couldn't breath very well. So he went to the doctor and the doctor he needs surgery right away."

Another person said "Bi hurt his nose when he was young and as he grew up, his right nose started to get flat. The doctor said if he leaves his nose like that he won't be able to breath well and he might not be able to continue his singing career so he decided to recieve surgery in April."

"We also signed a contract with MBC for Cruel Love but as of now it seems like Bi won't be able to appear in the drama."

Bi was casted in Cruel Love in January but due to his health problems it seems he won't be able to appear in the drama.

if you don't know what school attack is, basically it's a segment in a korean show (i think) where they get k-artists to make surprise appearances at schools.
It was a really nice clip to watch! the organisers dressed up as army officials and lectured to the girls in the school hall. They bored them to death, then scared them to death, then shocked them to death when Ji Hun suddenly appeared on stage and started singing! :D
hehe...some of the girls imitated his dance moves! :laughing:

okay, woo, lots of posts to catch up on. Poor Bi ~ feel better soon. Haha, if only he could see us, he'd be in tip-top shape in no time!! My friend had the nasal surgery too. They actually perform it at the base of the nose (where your nose meets your forehead), and they tweak it a little bit. My friend started to talk about it, but it was too detailed,so I tuned out. You feel very crappy after it. There is a constant fluid drip, and there are a few bandages. Also, u can't breathe out of the nose (obvious yeah) b/c it's way too painful, also tissues repairing. I'm so glad he's taking April off, I hope that he will take more breaks in the future for his health. As for Full House, I just finished watching episode 5 today. All I can think about all day is how I want to run home and watch Full House. Sooo addicting!!! I invited some friends over, and I made them watch Bi videos/performances. haha, I wish you could have seen the looks on their faces, esp. when Bi was doing the kinky dance with those three women in the 1st Rainy Day performance!!! Teresa don't even get me started on the " pillowiness", I go crazy just thinking about them. Definitely keep watching, he starts to smile more. (Exclusive) Rain's interview about his plan in the future

Last October, "Entertainment News" went all the way to Korea reporting on Rain's concert. Because of the pleasant experience last time they had, "Entertainment News" asked for an interview before the trip to Korea. Although Rain is extremely busy lately, he still reserved some time for the interview while he was doing a commercial. Unfortunately, the company didn't quite appreciate and said that they couldn't give us time for the interview. They even crowded up around Rain at the production site.

Finally, Rain invited us to do the interview at his managerial company. When we arrived, there were some loyal fans. One of the Korean fans said, "I think he is a very nice person. Whenever he saw us, he would greet with us. So, we all support him very much."

Rain is getting very popular in Japan, for instance, he showed his knowledge of languages. Rain said in Japanese, "Hajimemasude, dojou yoroshiku" (This is the first time we meet, please don't hesitate to give me advise.) Rain then said in Chinese, "I am Rain. It's really nice to see you all."

Rain was invited to a fashion show in Italy. This broadened his horizons. There are more and more Rain's fans around the world. He talked about his feeling regarding this. Rain said, "Sometimes I am incredibly busy. Losing all my leisure time and not being able to watch the movies I like made me really sad, but this is the career I chose and I have to do my best to finish it."

Last night, JYP, the company where Rain belongs to, made an announcement. Rain has never been rested properly since his debut 3 years ago. Due to his health concern, Rain will not appear in MBC's new drama series "Cruel Love" with Kim Hee Sun as the leading actress. It was forecasted during the exclusive interview in "Entertainment News" last week.

Reporter asked, "Are you going to work on a new drama series?" Rain answered, "About Drama series, I don't have too much to say at this point. You will know soon."

Rain will be fully rested in April, but there are still a lot of performance requests around the world. At this busy moment, Rain still made a promise to all of the Taiwanese fans that he will go to Taiwan as soon as possible. Rain, "I haven't thought that I would have so many supporters around the world. Thank you very much. I also hope that I would soon be visiting Taiwan again and meet with all the people who like me."

Hahahaha, I go away for a day and I see not once but four times Jessica is trying to convert people to MISA!! :laughing: Full House is my first Korean drama, so yah this means I haven't seen Autumn Fairy Tale. Hey, I like Ak Soo too!!! The MV is dumb, but I can feel the emotion in his voice when he sings it. I don't know, SSH just doesn't do it for me. He has a great body, but I'm not attracted to his face.

Sorry Teresa about your computer, mine sucks too. Whenever I was dling episodes, it would stop at 99.3% and not finish. I kept waiting and waiting but nothing. Somehow it completed but now, the audio and video are off. Keeps happening constantly, I don't know what to do. So frustrating!!!

MISA is short for Mienhanada, Saranghanada. ppl just took the first 2 letters of each word and combined it into one. i was confused at the beginning too @_@...you'll catch up when you get obsessed with this series.

He acts, he sings, and he dances; he is the triple threat of Korea at the moment. He has been called the Usher of the East, Michael Jackson on steroids, and the King of Dance in Korea. Few can sing like him and even fewer can dance his dance. He proved with his first album that he was more than a pretty face and hot body; this man has talent. But it wasn??t until his release of his second album that we started to understand why he carries the name 'Rain': he brings life to the dead and brings the much needed relief from the dry spell. And with this third album, his position is only solidified. His vocals are constant, as they should be, and his music is inventive, changing, and fresh. It is hard to pinpoint any one song as superior to another because all have certain individuality to them that create an ever flowing album that sends shivers down anyone's spine on first listen. We listen to the album and are overcome with a passion of the music, finding it hard to sit still at times. There is a marketable difference between Bi's music/ beat and the more traditional choreography that has been used in other artists. The difference lies in style. Bi could create a very complex and phenomenal choreography to any one of these dance songs of his, such as 'It's Raining,' but at the same time any club could play his music and people would find it almost impossible not to start dancing to the music. It suits both styles: the all encompassing dancing for the camera choreography and the more real life bump and grind style that people appreciate. However, for those not as keen on the dance, he blends the dance with beautiful ballads in this album. With songs such as 'I Do' it is hard to dispute the all encompassing R & B flavor of this album.

The music, though, is nothing without the voice. Bi has proved time and time again to have a voice of a muse, knowing how to capture the moment in time and express it almost flawlessly with his deep and angelic voice. His R & B voice is the epitome of what R & B should be, only giving room for people with his caliber of talent to effectively and properly enter this genre of music and reach a status that Bi has reached and reigned over. His control over the music with his voice in this album is unmatchable, showing off his vocal talent and also his musical capabilities. In songs such as 'I' Bi controls his voice so beautifully that it seems almost effortless as the music exits his mouth and enters our ears, sending chills yet again down our spines. His voice perfectly blends with the music in such a way that it seems surreal and just so natural. It is hard to picture any other artist singing his songs, because they have truly been composed for him and him alone. No one would ever be able to effectively sing songs from this album and receive the same effect he does.

His all encompassing voice, music, and lyrics are the perfect combination for an attack on the Korean Music Industry. I would gladly let his music rain on me because it is fresh, a wonderful combination of ballads and dance songs, and a voice that will never die. Take his title seriously, it really is raining; he is reigning.

i'm not familiar with the actors/actresses in MISA until i started watching this series. now i can't get my mind off So Ji Sub (which is the hottie in my avie and banner). the girl's name is Lim Soo Yong (i think). i can upload the MV if you want to see a preview of the drama. half the scenes in the MV was from Melbourne, Aus.
SHG dramas...the other one i watched was Autumn Tale aka Endless Love right after Full House because i wanted to watch more of her series also =D this was another sad drama, but there's 2 hotties to drool for... but i mostly drooled for SH oppa :love:

the reviewer compared him to MJ because Bi's his fan, as well as Usher. i think she did a good job comparing against those two. maybe the steroids comment meant that Bi's dance moves are even more creative than MJ's? :? i'm horrible at analyzing >_<....lol, that was the origin of that quote. i think that line is true too :tongue:

Rain to Release Photo Album in Asia
Singer Rain plans to release a photo album for the Asian region. His agency has recently signed a contract with a content production company to sell the singer's photo album in Asian countries, including Japan. Currently, the agency is responsible for setting the shooting schedule.

The concept of the album is still being finalized. But the content production company, which is overseeing the project, has said it wants to fully convey Rain's natural charm through the photos by capturing the singer's good looks, his boyish radiating smile, his muscular body and the charisma that he displays while performing on stage.

The singer decided to produce the album because of continuous requests from his fans. Rain's album "It's Raining" grabbed the top spot on Japan's leading music chart, the Oricon Chart, shortly after being released in Japan on Feb. 16. In the same month, the singer released the album in Thailand, successfully staging a showcase there as well. Since his debut in other Asian countries, Rain's fans have continuously requested that his agency produce a photo album of the singer.

Nope. F4 didn't sing when they first came out. They acts first in Meteor Garden and then they sing together and make albums. I used to be their fans :oops: and I believe Yuemei too :whistle:

I've just ULed a clip in the YSI thread. Ji Hun sings a song called Just Once, and there are scenes from Full House.
