jay's up and coming 4th album "ye hui mei"

after one whole year, jay's highly anticipated fourth album "ye hui mei" will be released on 31st of july. on his albums jay have always brought fans surprises and different impressions in the content, music styles and titles. and this time he'd made fans put a big question mark over the title of the new album. after some discussions the very imaginative jay and alfamusic have decided that since his song "in the name of the father" will be the main single plugged, and so he used his mother to "balance" it by naming the album's title after his mother's name !!

so the new album's title is the name of his mother? hm..that's quite new..i doubt a lot of people out there would name their album after their mother. ^^ But that shows how much of a filial son he is.

Do you mean that the title is "In the Name of his Mother" or that the title was created after his mother? Because (correct me if I'm wrong > <) I think the title "Yu Hui Mei" is literally the name of his mom...

oh wow..tt's really sweet of him, man.... :happy: but when i first read the title and not knowing tt it's his mum's name, i thought it meant the night will be beautiful (literal translation from ye hui mei)...haha. :) and i kinda cringed at the title cos it sounds so unlike him to name his album with a mushy title! haha...havent heard the new single yet but i guess we already know what kinda song 'in the name of the father' will be like since he named his album after his mum to balance everything....must be a praise for his father! *wistful sigh* what a great kid... :love:

yah...somehow this title of his new album sounds weird, compared to fantasy and 8D....after listening to his new song and knowing title of his album....my first reaction was 'Surprise!' :yeah: It was wow and double wow for me!! who would have thought he would use his father and mother as the subject of his new album? and actually naming the album after his mother! think no one has done it before?! yeah, it's kinda weird, but i can understand the "balancing out" with the title track.

now that the single is released and the name of the album is out, slowly but surely, the mystery is being revealed....i guess this is to build up the excitement for the actual release! :happy:
