I found a Jay's new best album at Yahoo Japan Auction.

It says 新曲+精選―『不知不覚愛上你』...

Does anyone know about the album and is it released officially??
If it is the official one, I wanna buy but if not, of course I shouldn't buy...
It's kinda struggle...

It seems to just be a compilation of some sorts. I don't really know if it's official or not. It doesn't seem to likely that he'd have one come out though right? 'cause the concert cds are compilations of some sorts and we haven't heard of anything to be released any time soon so this person who seems to already have it is just a bit strange if it is official. The whole thing seems to sketch for me.

I'm not so sure if it's official (like iphei said, I haven't seen news on it) or if it's even a compilation of his songs. There are a few songs that aren't even his! While some have the names of the original singer (i.e. David Tao), some don't (i.e. track 2 on disk 2 is by Jordan Chan).

I'm pretty sure its unofficial b/c Jay has never released a compilation like that one. Also, it seems fake b/c the chinese is in simplified chinese. Usually, bootleg versions are in simplified. And, I don't see an official seal of Alfamusic or Sony Music, but rather a seal of DSD (never heard of it). That's my speculation. Hope this helps.

It's fake.

All the Chinatown sell that type of cover with the white thing on the right for all types of artists and if you buy it, you'll see that it's really fake.

If you want the "best of x" album, just get the latest Incomparable To Jay Concert (Live) CD! It's great and has like 26 tracks. It's something you just wouldn't regret buying and it gives listeners something different to listen to other than the regular songs.

Don't trust any CDs or DVDs that appear to look legit in Chinatown, you never know what you may be getting. My advice save your money and buy the real thing off of yesAsia. If you must get something in Chinatown, buy a Louis Vuitton purse. Most of the time their real, but check, then bargain like you're crazy!

hmm..i have never heard that jay has a compilation cd but i am really looking forward to one!

if it's not listed there, it's a bootleg. The only compilation Jay has is the one with Vincent fang where all the songs he has written for other artistes and himself are collected. He hasn't released any compilations of his own.

they are "new" because Jay never sang them :wacko:

like I mentioned in my previous post, ALL of Jay's work is recorded into the discography. We are a dedicated/updated forum, I don't think we'd miss anything out. Besides go check out good sites like boxup/Yesasia, they won't have those songs or that album for that matter.


In addition, please look for the "Alfa" logo. This lazy pirate didn't even include it. Jay is managed by Alfa from the first day he started, there is no chance that his song/CD doesn't have the alfa label.
